On the night of our third wedding anniversary, my husband got me desperately drunk.
When I woke up, I was confronted by my husband and mother-in-law at the door.
My husband's best friend, who was also my best friend's boyfriend, was lying next to me.
My mother-in-law and husband used this to threaten me with divorce and leaving empty-handed.
Trembling all over, I knelt down, begging my husband for a chance to explain.
My husband kicked me in the stomach, causing me to bleed profusely, "Shameless woman, I'm giving you one day. Sign the papers and get out immediately."
But that very night, I accidentally discovered the chat history between my husband and my best friend.
Left with no choice, I had to package my husband and best friend together and throw them in jail.

The day after celebrating our third anniversary with my husband, before I had fully awakened from my slumber, the bedroom door was kicked open with a bang.
"You cheating dogs, get up right now!" My husband yanked off the thin blanket covering the bed.
I squinted, disoriented, confirming it was indeed our familiar bedroom. But out of the corner of my eye, I glimpsed a man lying next to me.
My blood instantly boiled. I screamed and leaped out of bed, grabbing the blanket to wrap around myself.
"Well, well, you two lowlifes, sneaking around behind my Edgar's back." My mother-in-law had followed my husband to the bedside, shrieking.
As I slowly came to my senses from the shock, I focused my gaze and realized it was Edgar's best friend, Zane!
At that moment, Zane was just as stunned as I was.
"Aren't you going to put some clothes on? You're disgusting!"
Edgar hurled Zane's clothes at his face, then grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and threw him out of the room, locking the door behind him.
Zane didn't leave immediately. The door shook with his pounding. "Edgar, calm down!"
"Get the hell out of here, you're dead to me!" Edgar cursed furiously, then turned and walked towards me."Nolan, I can pretend today's events never happened, but you still need to pay the price for what you've done, don't you?"
I was bewildered, my entire mind in a fog.
Without giving me a chance to speak, Edgar exchanged a look with my mother-in-law.
"Nolan, we Channings can't accept someone who's... tainted. Fortunately, your meager assets give you a chance at redemption. Do the right thing and leave with nothing but the clothes on your back."
My mother-in-law looked down at me slumped on the floor, her eyes full of disgust and contempt.
As I came to my senses, I disregarded the blanket barely clinging to my shoulders and crawled on all fours to Edgar's feet.
"No, no, honey, please let me explain. I got too drunk last night, I really don't know what happened. Call Zane back, ask him, there must be some misunderstanding."
I clutched Edgar's pant leg, tears streaming down my face as I begged desperately.
To outsiders, Edgar and I had been the perfect couple for three years of marriage.
Years ago, after my parents' business took off, they made quite a few enemies. They were ultimately framed and imprisoned. The two of them passed away in jail, heartbroken and in poor health. After inheriting the family fortune, my company was on the brink of collapse. It was Edgar who came to the rescue with a substantial sum, saving our cash flow.
At that time, Edgar's company was just a small business, yet they were willing to put up almost all of their liquid assets to support me.
This debt of gratitude I ultimately repaid with my own marriage.
So, I would never even think of cheating, never do anything to betray Edgar.
Tears streaming down my face, I begged Edgar, "Honey, please give me a chance. Let me investigate this. I promise I'll give you an-"
Before I could finish saying "explanation," Edgar suddenly lifted his foot and kicked me hard in the stomach.
