Blackstar Order

January 7th, 2025, 12:00 NOON

Ashwin Hospital, Vashora City.

Ayaan just sat there with Maya. He didn't do anything. The information he got from the doctor made him angry. For some weird reason, whenever he gets angry, he becomes calm. There won't be any uncontrollable rage, they won't be any reckless actions, instead, he becomes cold and focused.

The anger makes his body function even more efficiently. That was usually what he called his 'Zone'. In a way, this Zone is what made him achieve what he has today. And with enough practice, he mastered entering and exiting it.

However, despite all its advantages, he never liked being in this Zone.

Because he felt like he was always a different person. As if someone else takes over his body, that someone else. That someone who could get things done, way better than he could, but someone that forgets everything else.

He never really liked that version of himself, because Maya never liked that version of him.

So, to not give into that feeling, he sat there with Maya, holding her hand, keeping himself in check. At that moment, however, he got both the results and the people that he wanted.

After so much resistance from the useless bureaucrats, he finally managed to bring all the key Blackdog employees to Vashora. They were sent to the black site. Dia went to start the interrogation. Meanwhile, Raj got the information that they requested about the DNA samples and he came to deliver them himself.

He held the envelope, but it felt like he was carrying the weight of the world in it. His hands trembled as he handed the envelope over to Ayaan. His forehead dripped with sweat, his throat went dry as Ayaan calmly opened the envelope.

Inside there are four reports.

The reports about the four DNA samples were collected and stored away by the doctors. Ayaan's special team has many privileges in this country. Privileges that many ministries and officers wish they could have.

And one among them that they use frequently is the identification database. A person can be identified in many ways. Fingerprints, Face, DNA, etc, and these are just the popular few. Their identification database has a collection of all these. Collected from various sources, including hospitals, cleanings, research institutes, prisons, mortuaries, DMV, government IDs, etc.

They can tap into it anytime they want. Of course, with such an enormous database, it takes time to find a match.

However, often, they always find something. And they did now.

Ayaan gazed at the first report and a cold glint flashed past his eyes. His fingers tightened very slightly around the paper.

He then moved to the second and the third. His gaze turned colder and colder, while his aura turned more dangerous than ever.

When his eyes landed on the last report, he froze and looked at Raj. Because the report is almost blank. There is no information about the person in there. There was some vague data about possible age, ethnicity, Band lood type, and that is all.

All of these can be identified through DNA analysis.

That means there was no match in the Database. This has several implications and none of them are good news.

"We tried everything in our means, sir. But we couldn't find a match for that fourth person. The only way we can find out who he is is through the interrogation of the other three.

And all of their identities as you can see are… troubling."

Ayaan put the fourth report aside and looked at the three.

"Agent Raj."

Ayaan said. Raj immediately stood in attention. Ayaan almost never addresses him as an Agent. Unless he was about to do something that required Ayaan to pull his special rank into the play. And whenever he does that, Raj knows chaos ensues.

"Yes, Sir," Raj spoke in a strict military tone.

"I want you to proceed with the investigation and finish it in the next four hours. Use every single person in our team if you need to and tap into any resource you want, I am giving you full authority. Within two hours, I need everything done.

Find out anyone who is involved in the coverup of this incident. Not even a bystander that just kept their mouth shut, should be spared. Prepare the list, blow open their lives and crimes, no matter how small.

Publicize all the findings and send them to their respective departments along with the Black Star order with all of their names included.

From this moment on, all of them are for me to judge. Finish the report and bring me the order document, I will personally sign it.

Send it to the commander-in-chief in my name."

Raj's eyes widened as he gulped. The Black Star order… The three words are spoken so calmly as if they aren't worth much… But he knew the true power they carried. They are a death sentence…. No, they are worse than a death sentence.

It has been more than a year since Ayaan issued one, but comparing that situation to the current one…

While Raj was lost in thought, Ayaan who didn't hear the answer turned his cold gaze towards Raj.

"I didn't hear your answer, Agent."

Raj hurriedly saluted and replied.

"Yes, sir. I will issue the Black Star Order immediately."

Raj sprinted out of the room the next second. Ayaan turned to Maya. He kissed her hand gently. Then he walked out of the room and soon his motorcycle left the hospital campus, racing towards the outskirts of the city.

At the same time.

In the Black site of Team Rakshit.

It was an underground settlement that only a select few are authorized to know and right now in that place, Dia is standing in front of the rows of neatly placed chairs, dozens of them. Each chair contained a person from the Black Dog organization.

There are forty people in total.

All of them are high-level people, someone with significant authority identified based on the data they got from the Black Dog's documents and files.

The hall they were in is vast, and it is shrouded in darkness. Except for the dim overhead lights on the top, which gave them limited visibility, there no other light source.

They couldn't see Dia's face clearly as she stood a bit far away.

They didn't know where they were, they didn't know who brought them here and they didn't know what their purpose was.

At least not all of them, the CEO of the Blackdog the one at the first line of the group might know, but none of them are in the mood to learn about it. Because they were all focusing on the guy at the corner of their seating arrangement.

The first chair of the first row also had a person bound to it.

A woman. And right now, that woman wasn't sitting upright, nor was she looking at the surroundings trying to make sense of her situation. She was just there, barely clinging to her life.

Her skin was mutilated, her nails and teeth pulled out, her fingers individually twisted into different impossible angles, her bones crushed, rusty nails impaled into various parts, and finally… her tongue cut off, her eyes scratched out.

For the past hour, they all heard that woman's screams as she endured the pain and torture subjected by Dia.

She was also a former soldier and quite a ruthless one at that. She believed that she could endure any torture. Particularly, one done by Bhavaran forces. After all, Bhavaran military forces, even with all their might, are not known for their, torture techniques.

She knew it, being an insider for a while.

But she broke down quicker than she thought. Even Dia was surprised, at how fast she broke down. Because all this she only used external physical means. She had internal means, mental & emotional means, she had yet to employ.

However, she broke down. But Dia didn't stop.

She went on with her procedure. Because she picked this woman not because she had something to offer, but for her to serve as an example to the other 39 candidates.

And she deliberately picked the woman, to show that she is cruel enough.

So, as the woman slowly turned useless, broken completely, she slowly walked in between the arranged chairs, finally revealing her face.

"My name is Dia. I am your specially designated interrogator. You lot from the Black Dog security have done many illegal and underhanded things. But that is not what dragged you here.

Among all the stupid shit that you have done, the biggest mistake is targeting Rear Admiral Ayaan Rakshit.

I am sure some of you know of him. He was targeted by your organization and an attempt to assassinate him has been made by you guys.

From what your Sthal branch leader told me, only the people from headquarters should know who put the hit. And it was supposed to be the secret owner of the Black dog.

Your financial activities kind of supported his statement regarding a secret owner of your company.

Now, I want to know the identities of these people.

First is the secret owner and second is the person who placed the hit on Rear Admiral Rakshit, the third one is the identity of the mediator who facilitated the deal between you and the IGP."

She paused, letting the words sink in.

They all wanted to ask questions, their mouths weren't taped and they weren't forbidden to speak up. But they couldn't bring out their words.

"Of course, I believe some small incentivization.

Don't even bother to think about leaving this place alive. You were already forsaken by this country and its government. All your backers have been told to back off and no one will be coming to save you.

The only thing I can tell you is that I wouldn't do the same thing that I did to her and I am going to do her."

As she said, she snapped her fingers.

A person came out of the darkness and slowly inched towards that woman.

He had a large bucket in his hands, filled with white powder. He reached a certain distance and threw the powder covering the woman's whole body.

"ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...….."

A high-pitched scream of agony prevailed. At that moment, a screen lit up in front of the whole group. On the screen, they could see the woman who was tied to the chair and was covered in the white powder as she screamed to the skies.

They couldn't see her directly because of the faint lights, but the image on the screen is completely fine and clear, almost like a crystal.

And they saw what the white powder did to her. At a visible speed, fast enough for the naked eye to notice the immediate changes… the white powder turned red, and the skin of the woman visibly shrunk just a little bit.

Her lips became chapped within no time. All the wounds were bleeding profusely. At first, the blood started clotting, but then the blood dripped from those clots tearing them open again. It was paradoxical bleeding.

"ARRRRRRRRRRHHHHHH….."

Screams of agony reverberated around the room as they saw it on the screen.

"ARRRRRGGGGG…"

"ARRRRRGGGGG…"

"ARRRRRGGGGG…"

Her voice slowly died down as the time passed. The group saw as her wounds underwent necrosis at a rapid pace, skin withered and lips chapped. There was no sign of life in her eyes. Her lips moved and soon the voice didn't come out.

She was mouthing something, but no one could make out what she was saying. But if they had to guess, she was asking them to kill her. And they wanted to do it. They realized that killing would be a mercy.

Only after around an hour did the screaming stop and she died. At that moment, Dia's voice was heard.

"What you saw was my favorite method of execution. The white powder is calcium chloride. If you don't know, it is a salt that can make dying seem small and insignificant, compared to the pain when it touches your skin.

It slowly paralyzes you, toxifies you, dehydrates you, and finally kills you. In the slowest and most vengeful means possible.

I am planning to use it on those who cannot fulfill my needs."
