A rare skill that allows Seon to analyze the origin of powers, whether human or monster. It reveals the source, strengths, weaknesses, and hidden traits of an entity's abilities.
Skill Name: Celestial Insight
Type: Passive & Active
Rank: ??? (Unknown—potential to evolve)
Effect:
Passive Mode: Seon can sense the celestial origin of anyone's abilities, even if they try to hide it. This gives him a general idea of where their power comes from (e.g., divine, demonic, elemental, arcane, or artificial). Active Mode: By focusing, Seon can analyze a target's full ability breakdown, including: Strengths & Weaknesses: Weak points in monsters or fighters. Energy Signature: Where their power originally came from. Hidden Abilities: If the opponent has an unawakened power, Seon may sense it. Side Effect: If the target is too powerful, the user risks temporary blindness, mental fatigue, or backlash.

User rewarded 50,000 credits.

"Is it me, or have you gotten faster?" Jin asked, tossing a towel at Seon. At some point during one of Seon's exercises, he had woken up, and Seon spun a story about mysteriously healing. After that, they started working out together.
"It's you," Seon replied, grabbing the towel and walking toward the shower. Jin was right. Seon had definitely improved. His uniform no longer fit, and he had to buy a new pair—twice his size.

Seon spent most of the past week combing through the school's data system, looking for anything related to the system or newly awakened Celestial planets. But he found nothing. No mention of a Celestial Nexus. He kept a record book in his inventory to track his findings.
The money from the system was untraceable, like it appeared and disappeared out of nowhere. After the bonus reward, he had enough to live comfortably until he turned 59 in a nice hotel. He emerged from the shower and looked at himself in the mirror.
He looked healthier, visibly more muscular. It had only been a week, but he was already in better shape than he had ever been. After getting dressed, he found Jin watching the news while doing his homework.
"Your food is on the counter," Jin said, still glued to the screen.
Seon went to the kitchen and found a few bowls of ramen, some of them empty. A week ago, he wouldn't have imagined finishing even one bowl, but now, he ate at least three. He scarfed them down quickly and grabbed his bag, ready to meet Jin, who had just finished his homework.
"Let's go, or...?"
"We'll be late." Jin interrupted him with a shrug, packing his bag.
Once they arrived at school, Seon placed his head on the desk and drifted off to sleep. He hadn't slept much the night before. Today was the last exam, and while it was supposed to be a physical exam, nothing had been uploaded to the teacher's server about it. This was strange—normally, Seon would hack into the database to get a glimpse of the test, but this time, there was nothing.
[NEW QUEST UNLOCKED]
New danger detected. The system urges you to move. Escape without a trace. Survive without being seen.

A siren blared, and students began screaming. Seon looked up and saw the quest notification. The school had issued a red light, meaning a Tier 3 monster had been detected. Seon used his new skill to scan the area. There was no monster, but the teachers were crowded in a room on the lower level, followed by a foreign celestial power.
Quick analysis activated.
Seon stood and started running. He'd never heard of that celestial power before, and considering he'd spent the past week searching for one without finding anything, this power was entirely unknown. However, it intrigued him.
The hallways were chaotic, filled with screams and panic. Seon moved quickly, weaving through the students. His goal was the roof. The buildings were close enough that he could jump from the school building to the café. He reached the roof in no time. His increased speed had made a noticeable difference.
"Seon, what's going on?" Jin said, stopping Seon in his tracks.
Seon hadn't realized Jin had followed him.
"Follow my lead," Seon said, then ran again, jumping to the other building. Jin followed him without a word.
[QUEST COMPLETE]
"STOP!" someone shouted.
Seon didn't stop. He grabbed Jin's hand and kept running until something was fired at them, sending them both flying back. Seon spotted a window just before a group of soldiers surrounded them. He quickly stood up, followed by Jin.
The soldiers wore uniforms different from those he was used to—slightly red, with a few badges but no name tags. A man stepped forward from behind the others, smiling at them.
"Who are these two?" he asked.
"Jin Rogdak and Seon-Woo," one of the soldiers read aloud from a tablet.
"You two got the furthest from the school. Why? You don't trust your teachers to defend you?" the man asked, walking toward them.

"We figured it was a drill," Jin said from behind Seon.

Seon blinked a few times before scanning the situation. It didn't take long before he noticed one of the soldiers glaring at him with frustration.
"Well, congratulations, you passed the entrance exam. The military bus will be here in an hour to collect you. There, you will be given more information. And... beware. If you try to run, you will be hunted down," the man said before turning to leave.
"Did we just get recruited?" Jin asked, his voice high-pitched.
Seon watched the soldier approach the commander before they disappeared down the stairs. Seon quickly glanced at the window. He had completed the quest, despite being caught. The objective wasn't to outrun whoever that was. It was to pass the test. Somehow, the system had known about this test—meaning Seon had to pass it.
Jin was already heading back inside the school by the time Seon finished going through his logs. The military had been having issues with the Children of the Sun recently. They had raised weapon prices and stopped taking government orders last month. He had heard it on the news, but he hadn't paid it much attention.
Now, they were recruiting kids the academies had been eyeing. Granted, only a few would make it into the academy, but it had never happened before. Normally, children had to be 16 to be recruited. This law was made to stop academies from sending a mass number of kids to planets at a young age, resulting in almost all of them dying or coming back injured.
The military just disregarded that law by recruiting kids still prepping for academies. Seon followed Jin downstairs to pack their belongings. He knew very little about the military. His only source of information had been the holoV and the library, all provided to him by the military.
He shook his head, deciding not to think about it for now.
