Chapter 4: Fainted

"Any thoughts troubling you?" Putting down the fork, the butler asked.

Rahul's hand paused as his eyes flickered.

"Some issue regarding awakening."

"You can share with me if you find it hard." Taking a bite, the butler assured.

Taking a bite, Rahul gave a faint smile. "Small matter. I can deal easily."

The butler nodded his head, and after putting down the fork, he wiped his mouth with a tissue and went to his room, while Rahul also completed his lunch and went to his room.

As he entered, he locked his room and stared outside through his window.

"I have done what should be done, and the only thing left is those memories that didn't leaving my mind," he murmured and clenched his fist. With these thoughts, a spark of determination flashed in his eyes, and he decided to delve deep into the fragments of memories that had appeared in the different realms if he wanted to know what was happening.

Settling into a meditation pose, Rahul decided to focus his attention on the fragments of his memories.

However, soon he found himself in a pitch-black, familiar realm, and to his surprise, there was nothing to be seen this time. He searched in every direction, walking for around 30 minutes, but his efforts yielded no results.

Slowly, annoyance started to creep in, and he couldn't help but shout, "Where are you?" As soon as he spoke, that mysterious figure reappeared before his eyes. This time, Rahul didn't feel fear; instead, he was filled with anticipation, eager to determine if all of this was real or just a dream.

The figure wasted no time, smiled, and said, "You're still doubting?"

In response, Rahul nodded confusedly, "You can't expect me to accept everything without question, can you?" He continued, "I've never heard of or experienced anything like this in my 14 years of life." Rahul gazed intently at the figure and added, "Even if I try to accept that all of this has happened to me, I can't bring myself to believe it. What if everything is just a dream?"

Upon hearing Rahul's voice, the figure fell silent for a moment before responding, "Yes, you are right," and turned to Rahul with a serious expression. "I think this is going to be the last time," he said, glancing at his hand as it began to fade. Then, he looked back at Rahul and added with a smile, "I don't have time to explain everything, but always remember to live a happy life and don't worry about others' opinions."

Seeing the figure become increasingly blurry, Rahul cried out, "No!" and rushed towards the fading figure as he noticed that this time, the figure was even fainter than before. Despite his efforts, the figure continued to fade, meeting Rahul's eyes one last time.

"After this, you will understand everything," the figure said before finally fading away. With his parting words, he added, "Try to search for me and don't tru..st ..... ...an..yo...ne."

As the figure disappeared, the scene shattered like glass, and Rahul's consciousness returned to his own body.

Rahul, in a deep meditative pose with his eyes closed, suddenly felt a quiver in his eyelids. As he remained still, memories from a different realm began to flood his consciousness. His eyes snapped open, and the rush of recollections brought with it an intense wave of pain. He was on the verge of shouting, "Aahhh!" but he quickly clamped his own hand over his mouth, drawing blood.

These moments felt like an eternity, and he prayed for them to pass swiftly. However, soon he began to notice his eyelids growing heavy. With the last shreds of consciousness, he decided to bite his own lip since his hand had grown numb from the blood loss.

As he did, he managed to resist the growing heavy eyelids, but he felt a profound depletion of energy. He was teetering on the edge of losing consciousness when, suddenly, a strange prompt appeared, causing his eyes to widen in surprise. Before he could comprehend it fully, he fainted.

...

8:00 pm.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the moonlight bathed the city in a gentle glow. Birds chirped, infusing the air with a sense of freshness.

Somewhere in the Singhania Family villa.

In the dining hall, the butler sat patiently. A variety of dishes had been meticulously arranged before him. He glanced at his wristwatch with a sense of concern, shaking his head at irregular intervals.

After some time had passed, he couldn't contain his unease any longer and softly muttered, "It's time. Why hasn't the young master arrived yet?" He cast a worried look in the direction of one of the maids and instructed, "Please, go and summon the young master."

The maid nodded in response, "Of course, sir." With that, she swiftly made her way upstairs.

...

Rahul's room.

The maid, having received an urgent directive from the butler, swiftly made her way towards Rahul's quarters. However, she found that the door was closed from the inside.

Knock!

Knock!

"Young Master! Dinner time!"

Her voice grew louder.

"Young Master! Is everything alright?"

"Is everything alright?" The butler's voice reached her ear.

"Young Master isn't replying or opening his door!" she shouted.

"I'm coming. You can break the door," the butler jolted, stood up, and ran toward Rahul's room.

However, as soon as she entered the dimly lit room, a chilling scene unfolded before her eyes.

Rahul lay motionless on the bed, while his bed was stained with crimson blood. A horrified gasp escaped her trembling lips. "Ah!" she cried and rushed to Rahul's side, desperately assessing his condition.

Meanwhile, the sound of her cry reverberated throughout the house, drawing everyone's attention towards Rahul's room. Even the butler hurriedly increased his pace to the scene.

As everyone entered Rahul's room, shock washed over them at the sight of his condition. Whispers began to circulate, and the room was filled with a sense of unease

Butler's eyes widened, pupils constricting in alarm, and he rushed towards Rahul, urgently shouting, "Call the family doctor!" With a focused demeanor, he immediately began checking Rahul's pulse and monitoring his breathing.

After a thorough examination, the butler's own breathing slowly returned to normal, his clenched fists relaxed, and his tense body visibly calmed.
