Observing this, a maid entered the room and informed, "I've already contacted the family doctor, and he's on his way."
The butler nodded and instructed calmly, "Please ensure the room is cleaned up." With that, he retreated to a nearby chair and took a seat.
Sometime later, a doctor entered Rahul's room and cast a brief glance at Rahul before shifting his gaze to the butler. Seeing the butler nod in response, the doctor began to examine Rahul's condition.
After completing the examination, the doctor looked at the tense atmosphere in the room and reassured everyone, "There is nothing to worry about. He has lost some blood." He then turned his gaze to the butler, who rose from his seat, "Thank you."
The doctor shook his head and, while handing over a prescription, "I have already prescribed the necessary medicine." Glancing at Rahul, he continued, "I've also administered a potion that should help him restore his lost blood."
Without any delay, the butler instructed a maid to bring the potion, which arrived promptly. The butler wasted no time and carefully poured the potion into Rahul's mouth. Rahul unconsciously swallowed the potion, and soon his complexion improved, his eyelids quivered, and his fingers trembled.
Upon observing the situation, the doctor suggested, "This is sufficient; let him rest for a while. He will awaken soon."
The butler instructed one of the maids to remain in Rahul's room and notify him if Rahul woke up.
With that, everyone exited the room, leaving Rahul lying on the bed. This situation was far better than the previous one, where he had been lying in a pool of blood, his complexion drained of color.
At the villa's entrance
The butler and the doctor engaged in a conversation. After a brief exchange, they shook hands. Subsequently, the doctor made his way towards the exit. A fleeting glimmer of light sparkled in the butler's eye before returning to its usual calm.
In Rahul's room
Time continued to pass at its own pace, and soon, an hour had gone by. The maid in Rahul's room was sitting on a chair, her focus fixed on Rahul. She noticed that the clock now read 9 p.m., and this passing hour had brought a significant improvement to Rahul's health.
His complexion has improved, and even his face and body seemed rejuvenated. Suddenly, his eyelids trembled, and he opened his eyes. He slowly rose from the bed and sat down, clutching his head. A sigh of relief escaped his lips.
The maid, who had been seated on a chair, observed Rahul as he rose from the bed. She quickly left her seat and approached Rahul, offering her support. With a worried tone, she inquired, "Young master, how are you feeling?"
Rahul glanced towards the maid, "I'm fine, just a slight headache."
The maid suggested, "Wait, young master, I can give you a head massage to relieve your headache." Rahul simply nodded, and the maid promptly began massaging his head.
Sometime later
Rahul, his head being massaged, wore a relieved smile and said, "Alright, that's enough."
The maid nodded, "Okay." Rahul rose from the bed, massaging his temples, and looked at the maid.
"Your hand must be tired as well, so go and take a rest," he said. The maid nodded in agreement, "Alright, young master. However, the sir instructed me to inform him about your health."
Rahul waved his hand dismissively and replied, "Forget that. I'll speak with him myself." With that, Rahul and the maid left the room. She headed in a different direction, while Rahul descended the stairs and made his way to the hall where the butler was seated, engrossed in some documents.
The butler, who had been checking documents, usually maintained his routine of having dinner and reviewing official documents in his room. However, due to Rahul's issue, the butler decided to stay in the hall to review the documents. As he was engrossed in his work, he suddenly heard footsteps descending the stairs. He turned his gaze in that direction and saw Rahul approaching.
A warm smile appeared on the butler's face. He placed the document on the table and walked to Rahul. Before Rahul could say anything, the butler spoke, "Let's have something to eat first." Rahul simply nodded in agreement.
Both of them made their way to the dining hall, taking their seats as a variety of dishes were once again beautifully arranged on the dining table. The butler picked up a spork from the table and began his dinner, with Rahul joining him in the meal.
The butler, who had been busy with his dinner, suddenly cast a furtive glance in Rahul's direction. Rahul, engrossed in his meal, sensed the gaze and turned to meet the butler's eyes.
With a composed demeanor, the butler inquired, "You can share with me if troubling you."
Rahul shook his head, "Nothing has happened."
As he spoke, the butler's eyes briefly revealed a subtle glint before returning to their usual calm state. He resumed his dinner and asked in a composed manner, "Would you like me to look into the matter involving those students?"
Upon hearing this, Rahul's eyes widened briefly, and then he returned to his usual expression. His thoughts drifted to those students who had bullied him in the past.
It was those young boys by the school exit who had tormented Rahul during his early days, yet he never reported them to the butler. Instead, he had resolved to take matters into his own hands.
Little did Rahul know that the butler had been keeping a vigilant eye on his surroundings all along. This realization explained why the young boys had stopped bullying him after just a few days.
Rahul shook his head while continuing his dinner, "Don't worry, I always keep my priorities straight." A smile graced the butler's face as he replied, "Very well, young master. As you wish."
He started intently at Rahul and their eyes met each other.
