Chapter 24: Forbidden: Meeting

Shyam shrugged his shoulder, "Okay, don't act like a child. Just take it as a nightmare and forget about it. No one knows that you know about this except me, so just chill."

Manoj, defeated with his deadpan eyes, stared at the screen, "You dumbass! Why were you curious to know about that?"

As both Manoj and Shyam continued their conversation, the team leader reached an office and rang the doorbell.

Tring

A sound resounded along with, "Come in," and the team leader entered the office, where a guy sitting on a chair along with a table, with sharp and deep eyes, wearing a Canadian tuxedo, focusing on the document, stared at the team leader. "What brought you here?"

The team leader, wearing a serious expression, explained the situation, and the guy simply nodded.

"Alright, you can go," he said, falling into deep thought. "How can this be possible?" Despite the urgency, he swiftly reached for his smartphone and dialed a number. "I need to inform the leader immediately."

Ring...

The call connected.

"Hello, there's a serious issue."

"Isn't it always a serious issue with you?"

"No, this time, it's more serious than you can imagine."

Instantly, a serious tone filled the call. "Explain to me."

The office personnel explained everything, but before he could finish, a voice interrupted, "Code 1, arrange an urgent meeting for me. I'm coming in five minutes."

The team leader rushed back to his cabin, sinking into his chair with a heavy heart. "Something big is going to happen," he said gloomily. Hearing this, both Manoj and Shyam exchanged wide-eyed glances, a chill running down Manoj's spine.

Manoj mirrored the team leader's posture, staring intently at the floor. "What mess have I gotten myself into?" His eye narrowed down at Shyam, "He won't leak that I know, will he?"

Their foreboding, ominous feeling quickly turned into real terror as they heard an announcement: "Every team leader is ordered to reach Area 101 with their team members in three minutes."

"I repeat," the announcement continued, "every team leader is ordered to reach Area 101 with their team members in three minutes."

At the entrance of a high-class building, the office guy moved toward a high-class car with a document in his hand. A young man got out immediately, wearing a serious expression.

"Bring me a report!" The office guy, whose name was Code1, didn't delay and handed over the document, starting to explain everything in detail.

In Area 101, around ten team leaders were standing along with their team members, whispering to each other.

A shout resounded in Area 101, "Sir is coming!" The same man who got out of the car entered the area, "Everybody already read the clause before taking this job, so I want everyone to cooperate sincerely, or you are at your own risk." Everyone felt a chill run down their spine, but they nodded since they have no option to refute, and the process soon began.

After 20 minutes, only Manoj, Shyam, and their team leader were left in Area 101 with the man. He glanced toward the trio, "Spill everything." Manoj started to explain how he noticed and told the team leader. Soon, after getting their reports, the man dismissed them and went toward Code1's office.

Ring...

With a doorbell chime, the man entered Code1's office, "How's it going?"

Code1 tore his gaze from the screen "Serious, but not to that extent." Then he turned his screen toward the man, who began to watch the recording of everything that happened in Manoj's room.

After some time, the man finished watching the recording, stared intently at Code1, "Don't let this information leak to the investor. Focus on that team leader until I find a solution." Code1 simply nodded and returned to his work.

The man soon exited the building while dialing a call. He entered his car and drove in a specific direction. Soon, the call connected, and a voice came from the other side, "You called me? Is there an issue going on?"

"Yeah, Ramesh! We'll be in big trouble if we can't solve this problem," the man said in one breath.

"Huh! Is it that big? Explain it to me further."

"I can't explain over the phone," a clear, crisp voice cut in before the call disconnected.

"Okay, come to my apartment."

The car soon reached a large building, and the man stepped out, still wearing a serious expression. He took the lift and arrived at the 6th floor.

Now, he stood before an apartment door.

Ring!

A doorbell resounded, accompanied by a creaking sound.

"Himanshu? You've arrived too early," Ramesh called out.

However, Himanshu didn't budge. Instead, he replied, "The issue can alter into mess at any time," and entered the room.

Observing this, Ramesh adopted a serious expression and assumed a businesslike stance. "Hold on for a moment," he said before heading into the kitchen.

Sometime later, Ramesh returned with two cups of coffee. He handed one to Himanshu, then took a seat and asked, while savoring a sip of coffee, "Explain to me. What's the trouble that brought you to me?"

"How should I put this? It may seem ridiculous, but there's an issue regarding the coffin," Himanshu replied cryptically.

Hearing this message, Ramesh frowned momentarily. "Tell me clearly. What's going on?" he demanded, staring intently at Himanshu with chilling eyes. "An issue regarding a coffin?"

Himanshu gulped, "That's why I came to you, and only you..." But Ramesh interrupted, "Get to the point," and, feeling defeated, Himanshu explained everything that had happened with their team leader.

Ramesh fell into deep thought, murmuring, "Isn't that team leader's code number 5?" He gazed at Himanshu, "Is this just with team leader 5? Or does it involve other team leaders as well?"
