The Humiliation of Gartrius

The next day arrived quickly. Ikky was missing a few hours of sleep, but he was satisfied in every way.

It was a triple satisfaction, one for having survived the dark week, another for the temple of the goddess of magic, and last but not least the fun night spent with Elsine.

The humans had overcome many dangers, had gone through harsh trials, and despite all this, the players were triumphing and growing at a rapid pace. Elsine was fine, and by her side, her friends were happy. Despite the losses during the three major battles since they arrived in Athair, they could tell from the successes the humans had achieved that they were doing really well in that world.

This would be an important day for the human forerunners; not only would they meet with the Vertran Council in their own city, but they would also consecrate the temple of magic. In fact, Ikky had been thinking about an idea for the ceremony all night.
