7. Return to Konoha and the Hidden Mine

Chapter 7: Return to Konoha and the Hidden Mine

After weeks in the Land of Waves, Team 7 finally returned to Konoha. The journey back was quiet, each of them lost in thought. Naruto bragged about beating Haku, Sakura was just happy to be home, and Kakashi kept his usual lazy expression.

But Sasuke had other things on his mind.

He had gained power. His two-tomoe Sharingan, his Minecraft System, his Iron Armor… but it wasn't enough. Not yet.

He needed more.

The Uchiha Clan Library

That night, after making sure no one was watching, Sasuke slipped into the abandoned Uchiha Clan District. The place was quiet—too quiet. Empty houses, shattered lanterns, and the ghostly silence of a clan that once stood proud.

He made his way to the Uchiha Library, a hidden room beneath the old clan meeting hall. The doors were covered in dust, untouched since the massacre.

He pushed them open.

Inside, rows of ancient scrolls lined the walls. Jutsu, battle tactics, history—knowledge that once belonged to a mighty clan.

He grabbed a few scrolls and started reading.

Jutsu Learned:

Great Fireball Jutsu (Mastered)

Phoenix Fire Jutsu (Basic)

Shadow Shuriken Jutsu (Basic)

Sasuke smirked. Not bad.

But his focus shifted to another section—the Kenjutsu Scrolls. The Uchiha were known for their Fire Jutsu, but some had been swordmasters too.

He found an old scroll labeled "Uchiha Blade Style: Crescent Moon Slash."

The diagrams showed a technique that combined high-speed movement with a deadly sweeping strike.

"This… this could work with my Iron Sword."

Taking the scrolls with him, Sasuke left before anyone could notice.

Crafting the Iron Set

The next morning, he checked his system inventory. He had enough Iron Ingots from his last mining session.

DING!

As he equipped the armor, he expected to feel heavier—but instead, it felt light. Almost like nothing was there.

Sasuke looked at his reflection in a nearby window.

His armor was invisible.

Tch… so no one else can see it?

He punched the wall experimentally. The impact barely hurt his hand. The armor's defense worked, but it was undetectable to normal eyes.

Interesting.

He needed to test it in real combat.

The Hidden Mine

After training with his new jutsu and practicing the Crescent Moon Slash, Sasuke decided it was time to mine again.

He left the village and found a cave near the outskirts of the training grounds. His Iron Pickaxe was ready.

But as he walked deeper—something felt off.

The tunnels were too structured, too organized. Wooden beams supported the walls, and old, rusted minecart tracks ran along the floor.

DING!

> [New Location Discovered: Abandoned Mineshaft]

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. A mineshaft? Here?

He took a few cautious steps forward—then heard something skittering in the dark.

Ssssss…

A strange hissing noise echoed through the cavern.

Sasuke immediately drew his Iron Sword.

Something was here.

And he was about to find out what.
