Chapter 13: Chaos in Konoha & the Chunin Exam Invitation
The morning sun shone brightly over Konoha as Naruto stood in front of his "student," Konohamaru Sarutobi, with an enthusiastic grin.
"Alright, Konohamaru! Today, I'm gonna teach you something that will change your life!" Naruto declared, crossing his arms.
Konohamaru's eyes sparkled. "Whoa! What is it, Boss?"
Naruto smirked. "It's time you learn my ultimate technique—Sexy Jutsu!"
He performed the hand seals and—POOF!
A cloud of smoke erupted, and when it cleared, Naruto had transformed into a gorgeous, barely clothed woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a perfectly timed wink.
Konohamaru's jaw dropped, his face turning red as he nearly passed out. "T-That's amazing!!"
"Of course it is!" Naruto grinned before turning back to normal. "Now, your turn!"
Konohamaru took a deep breath, focused hard, and—
POOF!
A smaller, slightly chubbier version of Naruto's Sexy Jutsu appeared.
Naruto blinked. "...Well, not bad for a first try, but you need to make the proportions better!"
Konohamaru frowned. "Eh? Proportions?"
"Yeah! You gotta get the curves just right, or it won't work!"
"Boss, you're a genius!"
Sasuke, watching from a distance, shook his head. Tch. Idiots.
---
Just as Naruto was about to show Konohamaru "Version 2.0", an all-too-familiar angry voice rang out—
"NARUTO!!!"
Sakura stormed in, fists clenched, her forehead vein throbbing.
Naruto flinched. "S-Sakura-chan! This isn't what it looks like!"
"You were teaching a child a perverted jutsu?!"
"Uhh… yes?"
BOOM!
Sakura's fist slammed into Naruto's head, sending him crashing into the ground.
Konohamaru, still dazed from his lesson, watched in shock. "W-Whoa… Boss got wrecked…"
Then, in a grave mistake, he muttered, "Man, Sakura, you're kinda scary. No wonder Boss hasn't asked you out yet!"
Silence.
Sakura turned her head, a dark aura surrounding her.
"…What did you just say?"
Konohamaru gulped. "U-Uhh… I meant—uh—NOTHING!"
And then—the chase began.
"GET BACK HERE, YOU LITTLE BRAT!!"
Konohamaru ran for his life, zigzagging through the streets of Konoha.
Naruto, still lying on the ground, groaned, "Man… poor kid…"
Sasuke smirked slightly. "Hn. He brought it on himself."
---
Still running in pure terror, Konohamaru turned a corner—and smacked straight into a tall boy wearing face paint and a hood.
THUD!
"Oof!" Konohamaru fell backward, rubbing his head.
The boy—Kankuro—grunted, glancing down at him. "Oi, watch where you're going, brat."
Temari, standing next to him, sighed. "Kankuro, don't be mean to kids."
But Kankuro just cracked his knuckles. "Tch. Maybe I should teach this little punk some respect."
He reached for his puppet, but before he could do anything—
A chilling voice interrupted.
"Don't cause unnecessary commotion or I'll kill you."
Kankuro froze.
A young red-haired boy with dark circles under his eyes stood on a tree branch nearby—Gaara of the Sand.
His expression was blank, but his eyes held a cold, dangerous gleam.
Kankuro paled. "A-Ah, I was just joking, Gaara! No need to get all scary!"
Gaara didn't respond, only glaring.
Sasuke, watching the scene, narrowed his eyes. That guy… something about him feels dangerous.
Sakura, finally catching up, panted. "Konohamaru! What are you—" Then she noticed the Sand trio.
Temari smirked. "Looks like we'll be seeing you guys in the Chunin Exams."
Before anyone could question her, they walked off, leaving an eerie atmosphere behind.
---
That evening, Team 7 gathered at their usual meeting spot, waiting for Kakashi.
Naruto crossed his arms. "Man, that Gaara guy was creepy. And that Kankuro dude? Tch, I could've taken him."
Sasuke ignored him, still deep in thought. That Gaara person… I need to see what he's capable of.
Just then, Kakashi appeared—an hour late, as usual.
"Yo."
"KAKASHI-SENSEI, YOU'RE LATE!"
"Hmm? No, you're just early."
Sakura groaned. "Just tell us why we're here!"
Kakashi smiled under his mask. "Alright, alright. I came to give you something important."
He pulled out three slips of paper.
> CHUNIN EXAM APPLICATION FORM
Naruto's eyes widened. "Wait… does this mean—?"
Kakashi nodded. "If you want to take the Chunin Exams, sign up. It's your choice."
Sasuke smirked. This is it. My chance to get stronger.
Naruto grinned. "Oh yeah! I'm so ready for this!"
Sakura hesitated, but seeing her teammates' excitement, she clenched her fists. "Alright… I'll do it too!"
Kakashi gave his usual lazy eye-smile. "Good. Then I'll see you all at the exam."
As he vanished in a puff of smoke, Team 7 stood there, staring at their forms.
The real test was about to begin.
