"Hahahaha!"

They both laugh and Fred gives Charles a knowing look. They headed inside to have breakfast, as Fred was on the table, he picked up the paper that was beside him, opened it, and was shocked to see what was written at the heading. His expression changed to one of rage and he clenched his fist, and spoke through gritted teeth.

"So the bastard, Roni is well and alive in Vision City, I should have just finished him up when I had the chance!" he thought.

Charles couldn't help but wonder what was going on with his uncle when he saw the look on his face.

"Uncle Fred is everything okay? Did something happen, do you need me to check it out?"

Charles who was still eating paused for a brief moment looking at his uncle puzzled expression.

"No need! Is nothing much, am the boss around here now everything and everyone answers to me, if there's a traitor in my space they better say their last prayers!"

As he spoke he got out of the dinner chair leaving only Charles to finish up his meal.

Fred wasn't afraid of anyone, not even Roni his old buddy.

"Assemble all the men before noon in the underground hall, I have an important information to pass out!"

"Yes boss, will do just that."

Charles, ever the pragmatist, suggested abandoning the new vision city and run away like before. But Fred however, refused.

"We didn't fight our way out just to keep running," he said. "We hit them first."

They called in favors, reaching out to old allies and forging new partnerships with rival factions. In just weeks, the Phoenix Vision boss turned Vision City into a fortress of hidden weapons, loyal mercenaries, and explosive contingencies.

The Final Gambit

The Marcello Syndicate struck on a moonless night. Armed hit squads stormed the Phoenix boss hideout, but they were met with a labyrinth of deadly traps. Fred orchestrated every move from a secure control room, his voice calm and calculating over the comms. Charles, armed with dual pistols, moved like a ghost through the chaos, taking out attackers with surgical precision.

But the Syndicate had brought their ace: a seasoned assassin named Nike, a woman from Fred's past. She infiltrated their stronghold and cornered Fred in the control room.

"You always were too clever for your good," she sneered, her silenced pistol aimed at his chest.

Fred smiled faintly, a devilish look on his face. "And you are always too predictable."

Before she could react, Charles appeared behind her, a knife in hand. Moments later, the Syndicate's attack crumbled.

A Kingdom in the Ashes

By dawn, the Marcello Syndicate was no more. Fred, Charles, and the other have dealt with them. Fred stood on the roof of their hideout, gazing at the smoldering remnants of their enemies.

"We could stop now," Charles said, his voice heavy. "Disappear for real this time."

Fred shook his head. "The world is ours now. We don't hide—we expand."
