Nine Lives, One Mind

After the tournament award ceremony concluded, Richard and his brothers returned home. The excitement of the victory still buzzed in the air, but Richard's mind was already focused on the next step. As soon as they stepped inside, Richard called out to his system.

"System," he said, his voice calm but filled with anticipation.

"Show the mission reward," Richard commanded.

[Mission Completed: Win Interscholastic Tournament]

[Reward: Subtle Precognition Talent]

A holographic screen materialized in front of Richard, displaying the reward. A smile spread across his face as he read the details. "Finally, this mission is completed," Richard said, letting out a sigh of relief. "I've been waiting for this."

Richard's system only provided rewards for specific, official matches. Since he wasn't yet a professional player, he couldn't earn points through regular games. In the previous tournament, he had only earned "10 system points", and talents in the system store cost more than "1000 points". This made the reward of a "subtle precognition talent" for winning the tournament even more valuable.

"System, explain "Subtle Precognition","Richard said, eager to understand the full potential of his new ability.

Power: Seeing events a fraction of a second before they happen, allowing for perfect reactions.

"Woah, this will be incredibly helpful in the future," Richard said, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

Richard knew this talent would be a game-changer. While players his age no longer posed much of a challenge, he wanted to compete against older, more experienced players to push his limits and make a name for himself. However, he was aware that his physical abilities might not match up to theirs. With "Subtle Precognition", he could compensate for his lack of physical strength by staying one step ahead of his opponents.

His goal was clear: become the best in football. In his past life, he had admired legends like Messi and Ronaldo, players who had defined an era. Now, he had a chance to stand alongside them one day. The thought was almost surreal.

But he wasn't going to limit himself to just football. He had a body full of potential, and he was going to use it. Other sports, other challenges—he would test himself in everything.

"This body will be my gateway to greatness," Richard thought, his resolve firm. I'll make sure to fully utilize every talent I have.

This tournament was just the beginning. He had set the foundation, and he would keep building from here. His other bodies, however, had different challenges. Unlike Richard, they needed their respective profession qualifications to truly begin their respective paths.

For now, only Alex had started working toward his business plans with their father's support. Harry and Richard were the only ones who could move forward without restrictions of having profession.

Richard clenched his fist. "I'll make full use of this talent. Let's see how far I can take this."
