Alex walked home from school, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of the future. "It's been two years since I bought Qualcomm shares," he mused, glancing at his phone. "I know they're going to skyrocket this year, but I'm not sure about the exact timing."
As he stepped inside, he called out, "I'm home!" But the house was empty. His parents were at work, and his brothers were busy with their after-school club activities. Alex had also joined a club, but today, everyone decided to leave early, so he was the first one home.
He went to his room, casually chatting on the phone with a friend.
After a while, the sound of the front door bursting open shattered the quiet.
"Alex! Alex!" His father, Anthony Collin, came running into the house, his face flushed with excitement.
"Why are you shouting, Dad?" Alex asked, walking toward him.
"Alex, the Qualcomm shares—they've skyrocketed!" Anthony exclaimed, pulling his son into a tight hug.
[Ding!]

[Reward: 100 points]
"I'll check the reward later," Alex thought. "Let's focus on Dad for now."
"Oh, finally," Alex said, a small smile playing on his lips.
"How did you do it, Alex?" Anthony asked, looking at him with a mix of pride and curiosity.
"Well, I did some research and saw potential in the company, so I asked you to buy the shares," Alex replied, his tone casual, uninterested in diving deeper into the topic.
"So, are you planning to keep the shares or sell them?" Anthony asked.
"I want to sell them," Alex said without hesitation.
"And why is that?" Anthony pressed.
Alex paused, choosing his words carefully. "I think this sudden rise in value is temporary. I don't want to face losses on my first investment."
Anthony nodded thoughtfully. "Well, this was my birthday present to you. The money you get from selling these shares is entirely yours. I won't interfere with what you do with it."
"Dad, how much will we get?" Alex asked, his eyes lighting up.
"We'll get about eight times our initial investment. Since we put in around $1 million, that means we'll be looking at roughly $8 million," Anthony explained.
"Woah," Alex breathed, his mind racing with possibilities.
"Thank you, Dad. I want to reinvest this money into more companies," he said, determination burning in his eyes.
Anthony smiled. "Like I said, it's your money. You can invest however you like, but I won't give you a single penny if you lose it all."
"Got it, I'll remember your words, Dad," Alex said with a firm nod.
"Alright, I have to get back to the office. I left early just to give you this news," Anthony said, heading toward the door.
As his father left, Alex stood in the living room, a sense of accomplishment washing over him. This was just the beginning. With $8 million at his disposal, he had the resources to start building his empire. The future was bright, and he was ready to seize every opportunity that came his way.
"System, claim it," Alex said.
