Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [3]

The swarm of insects was vast in number, but the ones appearing now were merely low-level Gaunts and some small Rippers about the size of puppies scurrying around on the ground. These creatures posed no real threat to Red King.

The teeth of the Tyranids units could tear through human armor and even steel vehicles, making them formidable against human soldiers.

However, when faced with Red King's massive body and sheer size, they could do nothing more than nibble at his feet. His skin was exceptionally tough—though not as impenetrable as some cosmic monsters, it was still among the most resilient of Earth's kaiju.

These Tyranid bio-weapons stood no chance of breaking through his defenses.

None of the humans had expected that, just when they were on the verge of being massacred by the swarm, a terrifyingly colossal monster would suddenly appear.

Unexpectedly, it engaged in battle with the insect army—and in doing so, saved their lives. If not for this suddenly emerging behemoth drawing the attention of all the bugs, their thousand-strong force would have already been annihilated.

"What is that thing? There's such a massive creature on this planet? This... this must be Titan-class, right?" a Sister of Battle exclaimed in shock.

"No! Its size surpasses even the standard Warhound-class or Warlord-class Titans. It's a few meters taller than a Warlord Titan," a Space Marine shook his head and said.

Every Space Marine was a battle-hardened veteran. They had witnessed the vast arsenal of the Imperium and faced countless enemies.

One of them had once seen the Imperial Titan Legion in action. The appearance of a Warmaster Titan had left a deep impression on him—it was a towering steel colossus, standing at 41 meters.

Yet the beast before them, with its earthy yellow hide, was measured by his power armor's visor at a staggering 45 meters in height.

It was four meters taller than a Warlord Titan, and its lower body was just as terrifyingly massive. It also had an incredibly thick tail. If one included the tail in its measurements, the creature's total length could exceed 60 meters.

Its sheer mass was equally astonishing—likely reaching tens of thousands of tons. Without a doubt, this was a Super Titan-class entity.

"How could such a colossal, unknown creature exist here?" a wounded Commissar, clutching his injured shoulder, walked over and asked.

This planet had been colonized by humans even before the Great Crusade. Over the millennia, extensive development and modifications had been made.

If such a terrifying lifeform had existed in this world, humanity should have discovered it long ago, during the first wave of colonization.

"Maybe this big guy was in hibernation all along, and we just never noticed it," a Void Warden suggested.

"Impossible! That giant beast seemed to appear out of thin air, accompanied by a flash of yellow light. I suspect it might not be a natural creature at all, but some kind of biological weapon."

"An unknown force likely deployed this bio-weapon onto this planet," the commanding officer of the Space Marines said grimly.

He had led a hundred Space Marines to reinforce this planet, but now, fewer than ten remained by his side. The Ultramarines 2nd Company had been utterly devastated.

"I saw it too. That massive creature emerged alongside a burst of yellow light," another Space Marine nodded in agreement.

With their enhanced senses, the Space Marines could perceive every detail of the battlefield. The moment the beast appeared, they immediately took note.

Although the enemy's arrival was incredibly fast, it was still caught by him. This massive beast appeared accompanied by a burst of yellow light, somewhat resembling a phase teleportation. However, it likely wasn't the phase teleportation of the Tyranid Necrons but rather a method unknown to them.

"At least with this big guy here, we can catch our breath for a moment."

"Only temporarily. This beast is strong, but the swarm is endless. It will eventually be worn out," the Space Marine Captain shook his head and said.

Floating in space was a Hive Ship. If they didn't find a way to destroy the Tyranid mothership, the planet would continue to be flooded with waves of Tyranid troops.

"But at least we've been given a brief reprieve. Quickly, rebuild the defensive structures! Maybe we can kill a few more bugs before returning to the Golden Throne," the Space Marine Captain said.

With no hope of reinforcements, the only thing they could do was kill as many bugs as possible before their end.

Hearing this, the Astra Militarum and Sisters of Battle lowered their heads silently and began working.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Red King was still wreaking havoc with great excitement, slaughtering countless Tyranid forces.

Red King lifted a massive boulder nearby and hurled it, crushing countless Tyranids along the way. Then, with a joyful leap, he jumped over a hundred meters into the air and slammed down heavily.

With a loud boom! Red King landed with such force that it created a violent shockwave. The entire ground trembled intensely, and the nearby swarms of Tyranids were instantly shattered by the impact. Some of the Tyranids at the epicenter were directly crushed into pulp under RedKing 's massive body.

Red King continued rolling around excitedly, flattening bugs near him like a living steamroller, relentlessly crushing everything in his path.

At this moment, Rhodes nodded in satisfaction. Watching a giant beast bullying small bugs was indeed satisfying! The advantage of sheer size was undeniable.

Red King, whether we can break out of this siege depends on your performance.

Meanwhile, the human forces on the battlefield had begun to rebuild their defenses, repairing damaged barriers and reloading fresh magazines.

Suddenly, a terrifying howl echoed across the battlefield. A massive Tyranid creature appeared, resembling a giant spider. It had two bio-cannons mounted at the front, was covered in thick chitin armor, and possessed an enormous body.

As soon as the creature appeared, Rhodes immediately recognized it—it was a Titan-class Tyranid bio-unit.

This was a Bio-Titan. Among all Titans, it was considered on the smaller side, standing only about a dozen meters tall, comparable to a Warhound-class Titan.

The Tyranids had deployed a Titan-class unit, a Bio-Titan. However, even the Bio-Titan was no match for Red King!

But this time, it wasn't just one Bio-Titan. In the distance, several black dots were slowly growing larger.

A total of eight Bio-Titans, each a 13.5-meter-tall Titan-class Tyranid unit, appeared. (Bio-Titans are the smallest Titan-class units.)

It was clear that the Hive Mind had identified Red King as a significant threat and understood that a single Bio-Titan would not be enough to deal with him.

Red King, you have to hold the line!
