In the depths of space, hidden aboard the spacecraft, Rhodes' lips curled into a sinister smile.
In the original, Ace Killer absorbed the energy beams of several Ultramen in one go. The Aimelium Ray, the M78 Ray, the Spacium Ray—all were absorbed. Even the future Mebius' Mebium Ray was effortlessly absorbed and utilized by the Ace Killer. The previous absorption of the Emperor's Sacred Psychic Light was merely a test. If he could now absorb the power from Slaanesh, that would be even better.
The Emperor's golden psychic energy wasn't a gift to the Chaos Daemon Slayer. Instead, the Chaos Daemon Slayer used the timer on his chest, combined with the Ace technology of the Yapool, to analyze and convert that power into his own. The power from Slaanesh would be treated in the same way. The Chaos Daemon Slayer wouldn't simply absorb it but would analyze it instead, gaining the ability to wield it.
The only concern was whether the combined efforts of the two Chaos Champions, along with a group of Chaos Sorcerers, Slaaneshi Sisters, and the Warp energy they unleashed, would be enough for Ace Killer to analyze Slaanesh's power. The last time the Chaos Daemon Slayer analyzed the Emperor's psychic light, it nearly drained him dry.
As the purple energy from Slaanesh poured in, the timer on the Chaos Daemon Slayer's chest began analyzing its source. It attempted to replicate and convert the energy, a process that took a long time. The Chaos Daemon Slayer was fully engaged in analyzing Slaanesh's power.
Meanwhile, several Chaos Sorcerers opened a small Warp rift to extract even more Warp energy for corruption. The two Chaos Champions watched their target with excitement. They couldn't believe how smoothly and easily their plan was unfolding. They had expected a fierce battle but found that he had accepted the Warp energy with hardly any resistance.
"The plan is proceeding smoothly. Don't stop channeling," Zarathur said. "Use your Tormentor blade to pour our master's power into him. Soon, we'll have transformed a being of great power into one of our own. This time, our master will surely be pleased."
"Hmph! You don't need to tell me that—I already know," Miriael snorted coldly.
This was her moment to shine. If she could seize the opportunity to become a Daemon Prince, the glory would be hers. Zarathur, that fool, could be content with his title as a champion chosen by Chaos. Time passed slowly, and half a day had gone by.
Even Miriael, one of the Chaos Champions, was starting to sweat. What was going on? Despite continuous output from her side, the efforts of the Chaos Sorcerers, Slaaneshi Sisters, and Daemonettes, and even the opening of a Warp tunnel, they still hadn't fully corrupted this guy!
Hours later, the timer on the Chaos Daemon Slayer's chest suddenly lit up with a brilliant purple glow. His body trembled violently, releasing a shockwave of purple energy that blasted the two Chaos Champions away.
"Hahaha! You've accepted our master's power. We're allies now! Our master will grant you unimaginable strength. Welcome to the Slaaneshi army," Miriael said as she struggled to stand, looking at the Chaos Daemon Slayer before her.
The golden-armored giant was no more. His once-golden armor was now enveloped in purple energy, radiating a powerful, malevolent Warp energy. This was indeed the power of their master. By all logic, their corruption had been successful. This immensely powerful being had accepted their master's power and, having done so, his soul and will should no longer be his own.
"Heh," the Chaos Daemon Slayer let out a cold laugh. In an instant, he appeared before the kneeling Miriael, grabbing her by the throat and lifting her into the air.
"W-what are you doing? We—we're allies now," Miriael said, struggling as she pounded against the Chaos Demon Slayer's arm.
The Chaos Daemon Slayer grabbed her long, purple tongue and yanked it out with brutal force. A half-meter-long purple tongue was torn from her mouth.
"Ah~! Oh… mmph~!" Purple blood spilled out, but instead of showing pain, Miriael wore an expression of ecstasy.
"Yes, that's it! Torture her to your heart's content! She's yours now—do whatever you like. Savor the taste of the blood flowing from her mouth. If you want, you can even peel off her entire skin. Keh keh keh!" Zarathur cackled from the side.
This grotesque display was exactly the kind of thing Slaaneshi followers thrived on. The corruption was complete. Miriael, fully cooperative, lifted her legs and began rubbing against the Chaos Demon Slayer's body. Despite having her tongue ripped out, the Slaaneshi Champion felt no pain, only pleasure.
"Come on, my dear! I can't wait any longer. Torture me to your heart's content! Let's revel in endless ecstasy together!" Miriael cackled madly.
A face full of extreme hunger and thirst.
"You all think it feels great, don't you? Then let me add something to it, so you feel the ultimate ecstasy."
The Chaos Daemon Slayer let out a cold laugh. His palm glowed with the golden psychic energy of the Emperor. Then, he gently stroked Miriael's face, burning her charming purple complexion until her skin cracked and peeled.
"Ah! Ah! Ah!" This time Miriael did not reveal an expression of pleasure but instead screamed in pain and terror.
The Emperor's golden light not only burned her body but also scorched her soul. For the first time in ages, she felt pain instead of the supreme pleasure she usually experienced.
The Chaos Daemon Slayer sneered coldly. He grabbed Miriael's sharp, fang-filled mouth with both hands and, with a sudden force, tore the Chaos Champion apart from her head down the middle.
His hands burned with terrifying golden flames, reducing her broken body to ashes. He destroyed this Chaos Champion of Slaanesh so thoroughly that not even a trace of her remained.
The Chaos Daemon Slayer clapped his hands and then turned his gaze to Zarathur, the Chaos Lord nearby, whose eyes were wide with disbelief.
"No! This… this is impossible! How is this possible? You… how could you kill her?
How could you still possess the power of the Emperor?
You accepted the power of the Master! This… this doesn't make sense!" Zarathur screamed hysterically.
As everyone knows, once you are corrupted by the chaotic energies of the Warp, you belong to one of the Chaos Gods or become an unaligned servant of Chaos. There are no exceptions. Even the once-mighty Warmaster of the Imperium could not escape the corruption of the four Chaos Gods.
The purple energy from the opponent earlier was unmistakable, but now the golden psychic light of the Emperor radiated from him.
This! This is unscientific! This is downright bizarre like water and fire somehow merging!
The Chaos Daemon Slayer's lips curled into a cold smile. He had no intention of explaining anything to this Chaos Lord.
He drew the sword from his back, and his body once again shone with golden light.
Under Zarathur's incredulous gaze, the Daemon Slayer cleaved him in two, burning his soul to nothingness.
Two Chaos Champions were brutally slain by the Chaos Daemon Slayer. The Emperor's holy light, although powerful, could only strengthen once and was not enough to completely obliterate Chaos Champions or the Chosen of Chaos.
However, the Slayer had another weapon: his upgraded golden greatsword, imbued with the Emperor's sacred psychic light. With it, he could destroy Chaos Champions.
At this point, all the daemons on the planet were completely exterminated.
...
In Slaanesh's palace of pleasure in the Warp, the Dark Prince was happily playing with his pet, Fulgrim.
"Master! Serving you is my greatest honor," Fulgrim said.
The normally enthusiastic Prince of Pleasure suddenly frowned. He (or she) felt the deaths of two of his Chaos Champions—killed completely, with no chance of resurrection.
"What's wrong, Master? Aren't we going to continue playing?" asked Fulgrim, who was lying on the ground pretending to be a dog.
"We're done playing. Two of my Chaos Champions have been killed, and they've been destroyed.
The one who killed them… you are familiar with this power. It belongs to your father." Slaanesh reclined lazily on his purple bed, letting out a cold snort.
"What?! Did they encounter a Living Saint?" Fulgrim asked in shock, getting up from the floor.
"I'm not sure. Go investigate! Find out what happened.
The person is a golden-armored giant, capable of transforming into a Titan unit, and immune to my corruption," Slaanesh ordered.
"Understood, Master! I will send my subordinates to investigate immediately," Fulgrim replied, putting on his clothes and leaving Slaanesh's palace.
He then summoned his Chaos Space Marines and ordered them to venture into the material universe to investigate the deaths of the two Chaos Champions.
...
In a hidden part of the Warp, the Laughing God was laughing hysterically. He had seen Slaanesh's reaction and the deployment of Chaos Space Marines.
"Hahaha! Well done! That was brilliant!
I knew you could do it, hehe!"
Earlier, he had told Rhodes some lies. The four Chaos lunatics of the Warp hadn't noticed him. Slaanesh had no idea who Rhodes even was.
But the Laughing God needed to do something very dangerous soon, and he needed someone to draw attention away from him. So, he played a little prank on Rhodes, claiming that Slaanesh had set their sights on him.
With Rhodes's personality, he was bound to retaliate, drawing Slaanesh's attention and starting a fight. This would give the Laughing God the distraction he needed.
"My Webway wasn't free, after all. Someone had to pay the price. So, boy, help me distract Slaanesh for a while!"
