Ruby Jumped up in excitement upon hearing her name and the data panel also showed her name from ?? to Ruby in the name column as soon as he had bestowed her the name.
The data column of Ruby according to spirit eyes.
Name: Ruby
Species: Immortal/Immortal Tree
Type: Elemental tree/ fortune tree
Age: "???"
Abilities: Growth Acceleration, Avatar fruits
Lifespan: "???"
Master: Ray Crown
Remark: Fortune smiled upon her, and she is the sole mythical fortune tree in this world. Whoever she stays fortune smiles upon them.
Ray who had finished checking her data stopped his eyes on the ability column.
"Ruby, what is your Ability, it says growth acceleration, does that mean your growth gets accelerated or you can induce growth in other things or plants?" Questioned Ray with a confused look.
Ruby gave him two nods which further confused him as he didn't understand if she agreed with the former or the latter question.
Noticing the confusion in Ray's question, Ruby took his hand, led him into the forest, and brought him to the fruit tree where he had gathered the spirit fruits to sell. She then emptied the tree of the remaining fruits and handed them to his hands.
As Ray took the fruits into his hands in confusion, Ruby gathered her hands together and gathered energy to her hands where small droplets of green liquid started to form.
As the droplets increased from a few drops to a small cup of liquid Ruby stopped her action and neared the tree and poured the liquid which she gathered onto the tree.
The tree which the green liquid had dropped started to grow exponentially and flowers started forming and then they transformed into raw fruits to spirit fruits which were ready to pick again.
As the fruits matured various animals in the forest began gathering around them and eagerly waited for the fruits to fall.
Ray quickly fed the fruits in his hand to the animals gathered and sent them off.
The animals ate the fruits Ray had given them and went back to their nests contended.
It's not that Ray is stingy about the fruits, but he didn't want the animals to eat the fruits grown through accelerated growth and spoil their stomach without knowing if they have any deficiencies.
Ray took two fruits from the tree, handed one to Ruby, and swiftly wiped the other clean with his hand consuming it.
The fruit looked plumper in appearance and tasted extremely sweeter than the previous fruits.
Ruby observed his actions, mimicked them, and consumed the fruits with a blissful smile.
Ray watched her eat the fruit without checking anything and was prompted to think about teaching her common sense of the world and language he could get any books to read.
The irony here is that Ray lacks common sense about the world as well. He will come to understand it when he visits the nearby city soon with the village chief.
While Ray was planning to teach common sense to Ruby.
Ruby led him to the back of the house where the tree stood. She approached the tree, placed her small hand on the bark, and began gathering energy in her hand, which she then transferred into the tree.
During the action, Ruby grew progressively weaker, prompting Ray to ask her to stop. She smiled and assured him that she was fine, so Ray watched with worry on his face.
After five minutes of placing her hand on the tree, Ruby couldn't stand and sat down weakly.
Ray promptly approached her and checked that she was significantly weaker and listless.
Ruby groped her pockets weakly took out the chocolate that he had given her and started eating it with relish.
Within a minute of consuming the chocolate, Ruby regained her energy and began skipping joyfully in of him.
Ray sternly warned her not to do such action again in the future to which she showed her the wrapper of the chocolate with a sad look.
Ray asked her to take as many chocolates as she wanted, but only after she promised not to engage in such reckless behavior again without informing him.
Ruby pumped her hand into the sky with joy and started roaming around the tree.
Ruby's act of consuming the chocolates and restoring her energy also prompted Ray to inspect all the edible food he had in the house.
While Ray was contemplating such trivial matters, an exceedingly sweet fragrance began to emanate from the tree. Upon raising his head, he observed that the tree had blossomed with precisely ten flowers, which swiftly transformed into fruits, each glowing with a different color.
Ray was astonished to see the fruits glowing, which prompted Ruby to convey the information through the previous method.
As Ray closed his eyes and absorbed the information, he realized that there are ten elements in this world.
Each fruit on the tree represents one element, Red represents the fire element, blue represents the water or ice element, yellow represents the earth element, and white represents the wind element these are the most basic four elements.
The thunder element is represented by a lightning symbol present on the fruit.
The wood element is a mutated element that is a combination of earth, water, and wind. It is indicated by a green color and a small leaf symbol on the fruit.
The metal element or the gold element is a mutation of the earth element and is represented by a bright gold color and rugged surface, unlike other fruits.
The yin and yang represent two fundamental elements in the world, distinct from the basic elements, symbolized by two half-moons in white (yang) and black (yin).
The chaos is represented by a full moon symbol divided into equal proportions in the middle with different elements swimming in the moon.
By the time Ray absorbed the information and opened his eyes, the fruits on the tree were ripe, and the partial symbols that had been visible during the ripening period were fully formed.
