CHAPTER 43: BEGINING OF PLANS

Ray returned to the hotel room with Lily and asked her to sit on the sofa in the hallway.

He then tightly locked all the windows and doors in the room and sat next to her.

He then removed his space bag from his robe and placed it on the table. Slowly extending his consciousness into the bag, he tried generating a spirit stone inside it and found that a spirit stone had indeed appeared.

Ray sighed a sigh of relief as he confirmed that he could directly generate any type of currency into space bags.

Ray then filled half of his space bag with low-grade spirit stones and counted them after filling.

There were around 250,000 spirit stones in the bag when it was filled halfway.

"Give your bag," asked Ray to Lily.

Lily passed her bag to Ray while unlocking it.

Ray gently took it while filling it with about 300,000 spirit types and returned it to her.

Lily took back her bag, noticed it was filled with spirit stones, and thanked him.

"That's your pocket money. After you've spent it, come and get more." Ray reminded her.

They started discussing their plans, and then Ray sent Lily back to her room and began to rest.

In the evening when Ray is meeting with Lily in the hotel hallway on the ground floor, a hotel servant informs them that a man is waiting outside and has informed them he is here to meet you.

Ray and Lily rose from their seats and went outside with doubts.

As Ray reached outside, he saw Ryan waiting for him in front of the hotel.

When Ryan saw Ray coming outside, he eagerly approached him.

Ray took him into the inn and led him into his room.

He then asked Ryan to be seated, took the water jug on the table, and handed it to him.

Ryan drank two to three sips of water from the water jug and sat down comfortably.

"Brother Ray, my father sent me to let you know that they've registered the mercenary group at the mercenary union in the outer city," Ryan said.

"They've chosen the task of delivering supplies to a merchant in the wilderness whose ship broke down due to a bandit attack. We're tasked with providing supplies and dragging the ship back to port after repairing it with the available materials in the forest."

After Ryan explained the details of the operation, Ray was convinced by his reasoning.

As it was getting late and the inner-city gate would be closed after the evening lights went off, Ryan said goodbye to Ray and Lilly and left the inner city.

Ray sent him off to the inner-city gate and returned to the hotel room.

He then took Lily outside to have tea at a nearby tea shop and began visiting the street stalls in the inner city to taste the different types of delicacies.

After speaking with Ray, Ryan returned to the outer city, met his father and others at their meeting spot, and reported his arrival. He then shared the details of his conversation with Ray, which pleased his father.
