The genin, as a “does everything”.

After we finished training, we all sat around the wooden logs typical of this training field.

"Well, the bells have rung three times. What do you think we should do?"

Our sensei asked as he dusted off his clothes and calmly held his book.

The four of us exchanged glances, as if having a silent conversation.

In the end, the responsibility seemed to fall on me.

"Sensei, we personally don't think it would be fair for any of us to return to the academy. We all used our abilities at a level not only appropriate for the academy but, in some aspects, even beyond it." I paused for a moment, and he signaled for me to continue.

"Furthermore, a team is always composed of three to five members. Our teamwork was strong, which indicates good potential for missions. I don't see why all of us can't continue together."

As soon as I finished speaking, my teammates reinforced my argument in their own way.

A few minutes passed with words being exchanged until our sensei raised his hand, interrupting us.

His gaze moved over each of us, silently and meticulously. An overwhelming silence settled in the air. I noticed Naruto clenching his fist tightly, so I moved closer and gently touched his arm.

Realizing this, he turned his gaze to me, and upon seeing my reassuring smile, he relaxed, regaining his usual confidence and cheerfulness.

Sakura seemed to notice our interaction and tried to do the same with Sasuke, but he neither looked at her nor gave her a chance. His gaze seemed fixated on something red within our small group.

"I understand your point."

Kakashi's voice brought our attention back to him.

"And I agree."

With a calming smile, he spoke, and whatever tension was lingering in the group disappeared.

"In truth, the purpose of this exercise was to see if you could overcome your own selfishness and personal desires to work as a team. As you all know, we value the Will of Fire. This isn't just a motto of the Hidden Leaf Village—it exists to remind us of those we've lost, as well as to remind us of our duty to care for, protect, and support our friends and family. A divided team is the greatest weakness in a mission."

"But you all passed. How about we go eat something?"

"Yes!!!"

"Ramen!!!"

Naruto's enthusiastic shout stood out among the group, and I rolled my eyes slightly.

....

In the end, we all gathered at Ichiraku.

"Uncle Teuchi, Naruto and I will have the usual!"

"Oh hahaha, Naruto and Akane. Of course! Take a seat, I'll serve you now. And the others? Are they your teammates, Akane?"

"Yes, Uncle."

I nodded with a smile, and he became even friendlier. In fact, he seemed to recognize Kakashi and started chatting with him while cooking.

Meanwhile, I struck up a conversation with my teammates.

After all, we would be working together for quite some time. Even if Sasuke left, as in the original story, or in some other way, we would still be together for a good few months.

I also planned to try and soften Sasuke's heart. I had a few plans to change the more problematic events of the future, and letting the Uchiha drown in his own resentment, revenge, and contradictions wouldn't help me at all.

The next day, I was sitting in my room.

Some shadow clones had already secretly left for another training field, where they were practicing different ninjutsu.

One stayed home to study and practice seals and cursed techniques.

As for me, I was working on my chakra sensitivity and spatial energy control.

"Sis! We have a mission today!! Finally, as real ninjas!!"

I smiled at my brother and got up.

"Did you eat anything?"

"Yes!! I had the steamed buns you prepared for me yesterday. They were delicious! The pork was well-seasoned and tasty."

"Great."

I affectionately ruffled his hair and headed outside.

There was no way I would let my brother turn out like in the original story—eating only junk food and having no one to take care of him.

At high speed, we arrived at the mission assignment area.

When we got there, as expected, only Sasuke and Sakura had arrived. Luckily, as if burdened by some sense of responsibility or guilt, our sensei showed up shortly after came.we

"Sorry. I got lost following a flying leaf."

We all rolled our eyes while entered the building.

Inside, the Third Hokage and another man were distributing missions.

Something I had learned was that the Third Hokage wasn't always in the hall, as it seemed in the anime. He only appeared from time to time to inspire the ninjas or present the first few missions to the genin, as if trying to reinforce his image as a strong and present leader.

"Well, for your first mission..."

Tension filled the air.

And in the end...

.....

"Sakura, do you see the target?"

"Not yet, Sasuke-kun."

I was perched on a tree branch, watching my teammates' every move.

Honestly, I was at a loss for words… We had been doing some rather peculiar missions for the past few days.

In truth, it felt like we were more like odd-job workers. Our tasks ranged from cleaning certain areas, cutting grass, and delivering cakes.

The variety of duties a Genin had to perform was truly surprising.

And, of course, right now, for the second time, we were after the infamous cat—

The one constantly smothered by its owner, the cat Tora.

"I found it!!!"

Naruto's voice rang out, and we immediately sprang into action.

We all jumped from our positions and immediately got a clear view of the brown cat with its characteristic ribbon on its head.

It was stuck in a tree. Without hesitation, Naruto leaped up and tossed the cat out of the tree.

"Got it!!"

He spoke with pride and joy at completing this tedious mission. Of course, the cat wasn't too happy about it—its sharp claws lunged straight for my little brother's face.

"Oh no, not happening."

I spoke, and in a flash, I appeared in front of him. My hand touched the cat, and it suddenly found itself unable to move. Small symbols began to shift across its body.

"Honestly, Akane, using a paralysis seal on a cat seems a bit excessive," Sensei's voice came, and I smiled calmly.

"It's more efficient and prevents the mission from being disrupted."

He didn't comment further, and we returned to the mission center.

My team finally seemed ready to explode—as if the had had enough of missions like these.
