"Shit... How am I supposed to fight this?" Yin's thoughts raced as his eyes darted around the void. His breath was ragged, his muscles tense. He was panicking, but he forced himself to scan the area. Is this his ability? What kind of power is this...?!
George watched with a smirk, arms crossed as if amused. "Still panicking? Tch, let's just end this."
Suddenly, the ground trembled. A massive, grotesque hand erupted from the darkness, followed by another. Thick, pulsing veins twisted over their onyx skin, and jagged, claw-like nails gleamed under the void's eerie glow. More hands followed, emerging from the abyss like a nightmare clawing its way into reality.
"Wha-what the hell is this?!" Yin's eyes widened in horror. His heart pounded like a war drum. He tried to move, but the colossal hands slammed down, shattering the terrain around him.
Then, a cold, unfamiliar voice whispered in his mind. "Destroy everything."
For a moment, Yin hesitated. Then, he nodded. His pupils shrank as a surge of crimson energy erupted from his body, raw and overwhelming. His eyes glowed like molten fire, the sheer intensity of his aura distorting the air around him. He clenched his fists, and in an instant
BOOM!
A shockwave burst outward as Yin obliterated the giant hands, tearing them apart like paper. Shadowy creatures lunged at him spiders the size of buildings, slithering abominations, skeletal beasts with hollow screams but it didn't matter. He destroyed everything.
George's smirk faltered. "What the hell...? He should've passed out by now."
Leaping down from his perch, he tilted his head. "Hey, you alright?"
Yin didn't answer. His glowing crimson eyes locked onto George like a predator spotting prey.
George chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh? You've got weird eyes too? Kinda like me."
Yin's response was immediate. He blurred forward, launching a barrage of punches at inhuman speed. Each strike cracked the air.
But George wasn't there.
The moment a fist connected, his body disintegrated into grey ash only to reform a few feet away.
"Weird..." George muttered, amusement lacing his tone. A soft laugh escaped his lips. "Did you lose yourself?"
Yin flinched, gritting his teeth. "Tsk... My head... It's starting to hurt..."
George cracked his knuckles. "Then it's better if I finish this now.
Back in the Real World
"What the fuck are they doing?" Zion muttered, brows furrowing.
From an outsider's perspective, the fight looked... bizarre. Yin stood in place, wildly throwing punches at nothing, while George stood there, perfectly still.
Only those affected by Zone could see what was happening inside the void. To everyone else, it was like watching a deranged one-man show.
George sighed and took a step forward. One clean punch. He swung hard, his fist crashing into Yin's jaw.
CRACK.
The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the zone. Yin's body jerked. His consciousness shattered like fragile glass.
The void collapsed.
Back in reality, Yin's body went limp. He crumpled to the floor, unconscious.
George exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. "Ugh... My head hurts..." He clicked his tongue before smirking slightly.
"Anyway, I won, right?"
Victor scratched his head, clearly confused. "Uh, yeah... I don't know what happened," he thought to himself, trying to piece together the situation. "But anyways, LET'S CONGRATULATE GEORGE!" he suddenly yelled, turning toward Callix with a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Hey, four-eyes, aren't you going up?" he taunted.
"Yeah, just a second," Callix replied, walking up to the stage. He pulled on his long sleeves, getting ready for the fight.
"Let's get it on!" Victor shouted, adrenaline pumping through his veins. As the two opponents faced off, Victor's energy surged. A green aura began to swirl around him, his focus sharp as he prepared. "ORC WRATH!" he roared, veins bulging, his clothes starting to tear as his body expanded.
"Ugh, how messy," Callix muttered, Victor muscles growing, his stature increasing dramatically.
"Overclock!" he shouted. Time seemed to distort, rushing forward in Callix's perception, as Victor unleashed a rapid barrage of attacks, each one faster than the last. But the moment Callix's senses returned to normal, something felt off.
The murmurs of the students rippled through the crowd.
"Did he just age, or what?"
"Heh, guess he really matured fighting Victor."
"Man, you can practically smell the testosterone coming off him."
Victor swung a massive hammerfist toward Callix, who nimbly dodged it. "Tsk, using my ability now would be a waste," Callix muttered, eyes narrowing. Mid-air, he quickly strategized. "Giving up would hurt my pride... unfortunately, that's not an option. And he won't give up either, being an orc and all." He gritted his teeth. "Tsk. I'll just hold on until Mr. Strauss gets back."
Victor's massive fist slammed into the ground, leaving a crater in its wake. Without missing a beat, he unleashed a flurry of brutal punches, each one faster and harder than the last. Callix weaved through the onslaught, grabbing Victor's arm mid-punch and, using the momentum, landed a swift kick to Victor's face.
"Tsk," Callix muttered, his kick landing, but Victor spat out blood, unaffected. Callix was suddenly gripped by Victor's other hand and thrown violently into the wall.
Zion's eyes widened. "Oh shit," he thought, quickly shouting to the others, "Hey, everyone! Get over here!" His eyes shifted to Leo, still peacefully asleep. "What's with this guy's ability? Some kind of rest thing?" Zion thought, shaking his head. "He's so unbothered..."
Callix staggered to his feet as Victor lunged at him, tackling him with his right arm. The force of the blow shattered the wall, sending dust flying. "WHAHAHA! GET UP, FOUR-EYES!" Victor bellowed, his laugh manic, his eyes alight with wild energy.
"You bastard... We're both fucked now," Callix growled, grimacing from the pain. "You destroyed a freaking wall."
Callix slowly rose, his body aching, but his resolve hardening. Meanwhile, students from classes B, C, and D peeked out from behind their doors, murmuring in awe.
"What the hell's going on in Class A?"
"Holy shit! Someone get their teacher!"
"Isn't it the first day of school?"
"Yeah, and isn't that Victor, the top 4 student? But he's wrecking the top 2?!"
Victor scanned the room, catching sight of the students whispering about them. "I'm going to embarrass you in front of the whole building! On the first day!" He laughed maniacally, veins bulging on his neck.
Callix's forehead twitched as his veins pulsed in anger. "I'm losing my shit," he muttered, locking eyes with Victor, his voice cold. "This ends now."
Victor's grin only widened. "Acceleration, 8 times!" he declared, his speed increasing tenfold as they prepared to clash.
Just as their fists were about to collide, a shadow loomed between them. A figure stepped in, halting their movements. The students' eyes widened in shock.
Victor and Callix both froze, staring at the figure in unison.
"Huh?!" they both exclaimed in disbelief.
