chapter 11

As night fell after dinner, I once again sneaked into the garden. Honestly, at this point, I should just keep a rope in my room for these nightly excursions.

Reaching the same spot as last time, I initiated the skill again. Just like before, a roll began, presenting me with various class options: Warrior, Mage, Berserker, and so on. There were plenty of choices, but I had no idea which one would come up this time. Slowly, the roll came to a stop, revealing...

Battle Maid.

"...This isnt all that bad, right?" I muttered to myself. Battle Maid—I didn't know much about this class. I was familiar with Spearman since I'd played around with it, but Battle Maid was one of the two classes that could only be rolled through the Framer Class.

And honestly, I rarely used the Framer Class except to AFK grind resources. I wasn't optimizing my summons like those people who obsessed over every detail; I just let the rolls happen naturally, letting the 13 personalities and 7 beasts do their thing.

"This is annoying," I thought. "I don't even know what this class is capable of or if it's overpowered in endgame content." From what little I knew, it seemed decent enough for grinding, so maybe it wasn't terrible. But still, the system prompted me to define her, and I had to make some educated guesses.

For race selection, I went with High Human. I'd read in a form that High Human was the best race for maids, just as Primordial Demon was ideal for butlers. With this race, she'd get +20% EXP Gain and +10% Stat Growth.

On top of that, High Humans received stat bonuses and were considered peak geniuses among humans according to lore. It sounded promising.

Next came trait selection. Loyalty was a must, especially for special classes that evolved over time. As soon as I selected Loyalty, the system kicked in, upgrading it to Devotion. The notification popped up:

{Loyalty selected as first trait. Condition fulfilled. Evolving to Devotion. Bonus: Extra EXP.}

That was standard. Now, onto the second trait. I needed something versatile, something that would work well in most situations. Cold Advantage gave a 20% buff to True Damage. Since Battle Maid was a damage-dealing class, this seemed fitting.

Though, I can't help but hope the next class would be a support. I was getting too many pure damage dealers, and they weren't sustainable for late-game content. Even Spearman, while great in PvP, struggled in PvE without a tank or healer.

After selecting Cold Advantage get it no just me? Anyway, I moved on to the third trait: Discipline. This granted 40% Reaction Speed and 30% Cooldown Reduction. The cooldown reduction didn't affect ultimate skills, or else I would've given it to Silviya too.

Now, it was time to design her appearance. What did a Battle Maid look like? I imagined silver hair, blue eyes, a graceful yet beautiful face. Her outfit would be a black maid uniform with a white apron, complete with black gloves.

By default, she'd have handcuffs with broken chains—something tied to her ultimate ability, so they'd stay. Lastly, a silver suitcase, which I assumed was part of her weapon manifestation.

As for her name, I decided on Luna, meaning "moon." It suited her perfectly; her silver hair would shine brightly in the darkness, like the moon itself.

With everything set, I clicked the finish button. A blue light surrounded me, and immediately, my vision split again. However, this time I didn't take control of her body—I was more accustomed to the process now. From the other side, I heard her voice echo in my head: "I, Luna, greet my lord. Is there anything you desire me to do?" Through my mental hub, I saw her bowing.

The Devotion trait was already in effect. Good. Now for the important part—her stats.

Luna Class: Battle Maid | Level: 10

Race: High Human

Abilities:

Weapon Master Weapon Creation Telekinesis Physical Enhancement (High Human Passive) Higher Immunity (High Human Passive)

Special Title:

Superior Race:

+1 bonus to all stats per level

Rare Race:

+30% enhancement to physical abilities

+10% enhancement to magical abilities

It struck me then—was it possible that all High Races were inherently Superior Races? In the game, you had to buy that title with real money, but it seemed this world operated differently when it came to title acquisition. I wondered what other changes existed between the game and reality.

For now, though, it was time to send her off to grind. With two generals working together, progress should double, even with EXP being shared among three parties. Still, compared to the game where enemies were perfectly leveled, the real world might not follow such neat rules. At higher levels, how likely was it for all my summons to encounter beings of equal strength?

Ah, whatever. If future me wasn't coming back to stop me, then I must be doing something right.

"Well, I want you to go and grind EXP and rare loot however you see fit," I said aloud as I turned to leave the garden.

"If that is your wish, I shall fulfill it," Luna replied in a cold, detached tone before heading toward the forest. Unlike Silviya, she seemed far more distant—likely due to the Cold Advantage trait.

They may be my summons, but it felt strange to dictate their every move. I preferred giving them freedom to act and make choices. Of course, that didn't mean I trusted them completely.

The Loyalty trait wasn't about control—it was insurance against betrayal. After all, as long as I could rebirth and ensure all my summons reached level 400, I could handle almost any threat… except two. So my only fear is betrayal or there may be other players in this world.

And as for those two, I doubted they'd act unless I crossed certain lines. For now, that plan seemed solid.

Lost in thoughts about strategies I could implement with my two summons, I returned to my room to sleep. Maybe it was because of this child's body, but I'd been feeling unusually tired lately.
