Chapter 6

Caelan and I have been childhood sweethearts, growing up together since we were little.

However, he later went abroad, and I got busy with my career, so we haven't seen each other for several years.

When we met again, I had to tilt my head back just to barely make out his features.

Caelan, dressed in a crisp suit, leaned against the car and called out to me twice, "My, how you've grown. I almost can't look at you directly."

I swung my purse against Caelan's chest. "Oh, cut it out. I've seen you running buck naked from a dog. No need to be shy around me."

Caelan burst into laughter, opened the car door, and carefully helped me in.

The seat had been pre-adjusted to an angle comfortable for me to lean against, and even the headrest and cushion had been changed to my favorite light blue color.

I hugged the milk tea Caelan handed me. It was warm and filled to the brim with boba pearls.
