Victor's breath hitched as the glowing notification pulsed before his eyes.
A Forbidden Class?
That was something beyond rare. Even in games, such classes were considered overpowered, often granting immense abilities.
But why now?
Did the system detect his desperate situation? Or was it something deeper—something meant only for him?
Clack, Clack, clack!
The skeletons crept closer, their hollow eye sockets glowing eerily in the dim light.
There was no time to hesitate.
With a pounding heart, Victor focused on the glowing option and chose "Yes."
The moment he did—
BOOM!
A surge of energy exploded from within him, a feeling far beyond a normal level-up.
His body burned with an intoxicating sensation, as if raw power was coursing through his veins and blood, reshaping him from the inside out.
He noticed that the energy surrounding him was anything but normal. It wasn't the usual flow of mana or life force in Raizel's memories. This was something entirely different.
Thick dark mist seeped from every pore of his body, twisting and coiling around him like living tendrils. It radiated an ominous aura, pulsating with an unfamiliar yet intoxicating power.
Then, a new notification flashed.
[ Congratulations! You have acquired the Forbidden Class: Anti-Magus ]
[ Status Panel has been updated ]
[ New Spell Acquired: Magic Nullification Field (F) ]
[ Magic Nullification Field (F) – Creates a zone where no magic can be cast or maintained. Effective Range: 5 meters radius. ]
Victor's eyes blinked in surprise. "Anti-Magus Class?"
He had never heard of such a class before. Even in Raizel's memories, nothing like this existed in the recorded history of this world. It was completely unheard of.
But he had no time to dwell on it.
The skeletons, momentarily pushed away by the surge of power, were now inches away from striking him down.
Without hesitation, he chanted the spell's name to activate it.
"Null Field!"
The words left his mouth instinctively, like second nature.
The true name of the spell was longer and more complex, something he had no way of fully understanding yet. But somehow, casting it felt effortless, as if it was an innate ability rather than a learned spell.
Whoosh!
A burst of invisible dark energy rippled out from him, expanding in all directions within a five-meter radius.
In the next moment, the skeletons caught within the effective range of the Anti-Magic Field instantly fell, as if their very life force had been sucked out. But in reality, the magical binding force that made them undead and functional was canceled out.
Within the Anti-Magic Field, no magic could be cast or maintained. But it was yet to be known how strong the effect is.

…
"Ridiculous!"
Victor murmured in disbelief, seeing dozens of skeletons getting defeated on their own. Even level 3 Adult Skeletons weren't spared.
This forbidden class was ridiculously overpowered.
Earlier, he had struggled just to defeat a single Level 1 Skeleton. And now, they were falling apart so easily.
'Is this the true advantage of having a class or spells?'
He muttered, his gaze fixed on the skeletons dying just as they stepped into the Anti-Magic Field.
Only now did he realize the benefits of having a high talent.
If he remembered correctly, there should be many with higher talents in their batch among the thousands. He had even seen one with a Red talent as well.
Meanwhile, Raizel had only Green, the lowest of the low. That's why he had been struggling so much.
And if not for Victor's experience and quick thinking, the original Raizel would have died long ago.
Now, it made him wonder—what level of talent did he have now?
There was no way for him to know.
But he was glad to have this class. It had saved his life.

As more and more skeletons fell, he gained experience points rapidly, eventually leveling up to Level 4.
But this time, it was different from before. The invigorating sensation he felt was twice as intense as his previous level-ups.
He became curious.
As he read through the notifications, he immediately understood why—and it left him astonished.
With this level-up, he had gained an extra 5 attribute points and an additional 10 HP beyond the usual increase.
That meant, from now on, he would receive +10 attribute points and +20 HP every time he leveled up.
All of this… just because he had acquired the Anti-Megus Class.
With this one class, his growth had doubled. He could now become twice as strong than before.
Wanting to see all the benefits, he looked for the description of his Unique Class.
[ Class: Anti-Magus (Upgradable) ]
Description: A forbidden class feared as the absolute enemy of all forms of magic. Its spells possess nullifying effects, capable of canceling any magical force. The origins of this class remain shrouded in mystery.
Weakness: The user cannot wield or learn any other type of magic.
Benefits:
• +5 Extra Attribute Points per level-up.
• +10 Extra HP per level-up.

After reading through the description, Victor grasped the essence of his new class.
While the Anti-Magus class was undeniably powerful and granted incredible benefits, it also came with a major drawback—it completely cut off his dream of wielding other flashy magic like the rest.
It was a bit of a bummer, but what else could he do?
He should already feel grateful that he had received a class in his time of need. Many people dreamed of obtaining a class, yet some went years without awakening one.
Complaining would only be a sign of ingratitude.
If sacrificing other forms of magic was the price to gain such immense power, then so be it. He could still enjoy the magical world, as he wasn't restricted in any other way.
After reassuring himself, Victor focused on distributing his 15 Attribute Points:
+4 Strength (Total: 13)
+4 Agility (Total: 12)
+4 Stamina (Total: 11)
+3 Intelligence (Total: 18).
