"This doesn't make sense!"
Tony Stark, in his Mark VI Iron Man suit, cranked the power to the max but still couldn't budge Thor's hammer.
Finally, he gave up the attempt.
"Jarvis, analyze this hammer. I'm pretty sure it's not just any ordinary hammer."
"Your instincts are sharp as always, sir," Jarvis replied.
"Based on my initial scan, this hammer is made from a material not found on Earth. There also seems to be an extremely powerful energy source inside."
"So, the conclusion is that it's definitely an alien hammer?" Tony asked.
"Keep analyzing. I don't believe there's any principle in the universe that humans can't understand."
"'Oracle Cloud' network connection complete, beginning data sampling," Jarvis reported.
Faced with a power he couldn't comprehend, Tony, like Kagura Hitomi, made the same judgment.
"Cortana, how's the data analysis going?" Kagura continued her conversation with Cortana through the earring communicator.
Clearly, Kagura was quicker on the draw when it came to analyzing the power of Thor's hammer.
"The analysis shows that the object has an extremely powerful electromagnetic energy source inside."
"Its composition is similar to the core of a star, and it's in a kind of dormant state with some unknown storage form," Cortana explained.
"According to the scan, there's some unknown force around the object that anchors it to the ground, and because the internal energy is so immense, the force holding it in place is almost unbreakable."
"Is there any way to manipulate this force?" Kagura Hitomi asked.
"There seems to be a highly advanced logic system inside. With the current processing capabilities we have, it would take approximately 19,236 years to fully decode it."
"Phew... so this is the gap in technology…"
"Exactly, Master. Though the design is old-fashioned, their tech is far beyond ours."
"Can we get a glimpse into their technology with the data we've gathered?" Kagura asked.
"I'd like to learn more about Odin and Asgard's power."
"Deep analysis is underway. Estimated completion time: 86 hours."
"Alright, I understand. Thanks, Cortana." Kagura disconnected the communicator.
"Let's see what this Mjolnir will bring me."
[New Item Added to the Shop]
[Uru Alloy / 20QP]
...Huh?
Another Uru alloy and Adamantium alloy? Are you secretly a blacksmith?
Honestly, what am I going to do with all these strange materials?
"Hitomi, that thing's pretty weird. You want to give it a try?"
Tony Stark was putting his Iron Man suit back into its metal storage box and activating the mobile module.
The large box, powered by the arc reactor, started moving with the help of its engines, rolling along with Tony.
"Me? I'll pass." Kagura waved her hand.
"If even Iron Man can't lift it, I certainly can't. How about you, sister? Want to give it a shot?"
"Hah? No, no, no. I'm not at all interested in whether I can lift that thing," Natasha laughed, running her hand through Kagura's silver hair.
"You guys can have your fun. Let me know when you're done, and I'll arrange the return trip to the town. After all, we've got a big guy to transport now."
She pointed to Tony's Iron Man suit storage box. "That thing's not just going to fit in the trunk, you know."
"It's definitely worth our trip here to check out this hammer," Tony Stark said.
"I think we should surround it, build a lab on top, and bring in a team to analyze it further."
As he walked, he added, "This could be a massive treasure."
"That's a great suggestion, Mr. Stark. In fact, we're already on it."
At that moment, a man in a suit approached the group.
"Long time no see, Mr. Stark."
"Agent." Tony Stark extended his hand, shaking Coulson's.
"I thought Natasha Romanoff was in charge here."
"We're both in charge. This is S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top priority," Coulson said bluntly.
"Of course, that's just S.H.I.E.L.D.'s job. I hope you're enjoying your vacation."
"You think dangling the carrot in front of me while trying to explain that our trip has nothing to do with this is going to work?" Tony Stark asked.
"Are you sure you don't need my help?"
"We'd love to have your technical expertise, Mr. Stark," Coulson said.
"But of course, you can continue your family trip. We can handle this on our own."
"No, you need me. Just say it outright."
Tony Stark replied, "If you talk to me properly, I'll help you."
"Heh-heh…" Kagura chuckled quietly.
Tony Stark had totally fallen for it.
"Well…" Agent Coulson smiled with satisfaction. "We need your help, Mr. Stark."
"That's right. You need me more than you think."
"In fact, not that much…"
After some negotiations, Tony Stark began discussing the technical details of setting up a temporary research station with Coulson and arranged for advanced equipment to be airlifted from Los Angeles to assist S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research team in analyzing Thor's hammer.
At the same time, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan, in Point Antigua, also began assisting S.H.I.E.L.D. in setting up surveillance and investigative operations around the town at Tony Stark's request.
"Ugh… looks like the family trip is ruined," Kagura sat in Natasha's car, heading back to the town under Tony Stark's arrangements.
"Sorry, Hitomi," Natasha Romanoff said, driving.
"What was supposed to be a family trip turned into this."
"It's okay, sister. I'll still have fun," Kagura replied.
"You don't have to worry about me."
Kagura had anticipated this turn of events, so she wasn't surprised.
In fact, this situation, with her and Tony Stark parting ways, was a perfect opportunity for her to search for Thor.
While Tony Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed more interested in the hammer, Kagura knew that the one they should really be focusing on was the god who had fallen from Asgard.
So, where is Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder, now?
