96 The Exiled Asgardian Prince [100 PS]

Puento Antiguo, Coffee Shop

Kagura Hitomi leaned against the coffee table, her chin resting on her hand as she watched Thor devour pie after pie, telling her the story of how he was exiled to Earth.

I have to admit, Thor, the god from Asgard, was quite handsome.

His body was solid, with muscles that looked sculpted by the gods themselves.

His near-perfect face and bright blue eyes exuded an air of nobility and grace.

He could totally be a Nordic model.

"So, you defied your father Odin, the Father of All Gods, and went to Jotunheim, the land of the Frost Giants, where you started a war."

"Then your father got mad, decided you weren't fit to inherit the throne, and sent you to Earth as punishment?" Kagura summarized Thor's story, clearly a bit exasperated.

"What does your dad think Earth is? A trash heap?"

"It's Midgard, my friend," Thor smiled, taking a sip of his drink.

"As you call it, this backward and primitive realm is Midgard."

"We call it Earth," Kagura corrected, shaking her head.

"And I don't think it's backward at all. At least when we ask for more food, we don't throw dishes around."

"Apologies, I didn't mean to offend," Thor chuckled, though still finding it amusing.

"But I still think it's funny how humans make such a big deal over small things."

"Thor, this isn't Asgard. Here, we try to be polite and treat people with respect," Kagura retorted.

"Our civilization is based on equality and harmony. We aren't any more backward than Asgard."

"Hahaha, but your civilization can't even unify," Thor said with a grin.

"Humans are great at starting fights over the smallest of things, aren't you?"

"At least we don't still have kings ruling the world," Kagura pouted, clearly not pleased.

"The world relies on laws to maintain stability. The variety of nations gives the world so much potential—unity, cooperation, acceptance—those are the strengths of human civilization."

"And also hatred, war, murder, and deceit," Thor shot back without hesitation.

"I know your history, Kagura Hitomi. Humans aren't as perfect as you make them out to be."

"Everything has its good and bad sides. Even the world under the sun has its shadows. Asgard is no exception," Kagura countered.

"At least I believe this world is beautiful, and it's worth preserving."

"I understand your point. I've seen many worlds, and Midgard is just one of the ordinary ones," Thor said.

"But if you think it's beautiful, show me its beauty."

Thor smiled warmly, "But I must say, you're a kind young girl. Humanity should be proud to have someone like you. If I ever have the chance, I'll take you to Asgard to show you what a truly great civilization looks like."

"Wow, I can't wait for that day to come," Kagura smiled.

"But speaking of which, now that you're here on Earth, you should respect our customs. You don't have any special status here, so be a little more polite. It'll save you a lot of trouble."

"Polite? No problem, I promise I'll do it," Thor said with an earnest smile.

"Well, that puts my mind at ease. I knew Asgardian princes wouldn't go back on their word," Kagura teased.

"You're the first person here who believes in me," Thor said.

"I've lost my powers, and now I'm no different from a mortal. I thought no one would believe I'm from Asgard, no matter how much I argued."

"That's normal," Kagura smiled sweetly.

"After all, Thor, Odin, the Bifrost, Asgard... these are all just myths on Earth. People can't accept that the things in their myths might be real."

Thor nodded, understanding her point.

Then, he asked, "But why do you believe me? I'm curious."

"It's a beautiful girl's intuition!" Kagura grinned mischievously.

"...Huh?"

"Ha ha ha, it's not that mysterious," Kagura laughed.

"I've seen your hammer."

"What?!"

Thor jumped up, grabbing Kagura's shoulders.

"You've seen my hammer? Where? Take me to it!"

"Hey! Let go of me! That hurts!" Kagura struggled, trying to pry Thor's hands off.

"Remember, be polite! No hurting people!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. That was my bad," Thor said, letting go of her and taking a few steps back.

He took a deep breath to calm down.

"I got a little too excited."

"I can tell," Kagura rolled her eyes, rubbing her shoulder.

"So what's your plan now?"

"Simple," Thor said, taking a deep breath and gazing out the window with a confident smile.

"I'm going to retrieve my hammer, regain my powers, and return to Asgard."

He turned to Kagura, locking eyes.

"Kagura Hitomi, would you mind taking me to where you found my hammer?"

"I can, but I don't think it's going to be that simple," Kagura twirled a strand of her silver hair around her finger.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll bet you ten bucks you won't be able to lift your hammer," Kagura teased.

"Hahahahaha!" Thor laughed.

"That's a joke! Mjölnir belongs to me. Of course, I'm worthy to lift it!"

"That's why I said it might not be that simple," Kagura sighed.

"I recommend you prepare ten bucks."

"No, that's unnecessary," Thor said confidently.

"Let's go. We're retrieving my hammer."

"I don't offer free services, you know," Kagura wagged her finger.

"As a fair trade, let's make a deal," she suggested.

"Oh? Interesting," Thor raised an eyebrow.

"I don't like owing people favors. What do you want?"

"Knowledge," Kagura replied.

"That's not something I can just give away," Thor's expression turned serious.

"Humans shouldn't wield powers they can't control."

"I understand," Kagura nodded.

"But give me what humans can handle."

Thor blinked, then smiled brightly.

"Kagura, I'm starting to like you more and more."

"Really? But don't get any ideas!" Kagura stuck her tongue out playfully.

"Hahaha!" Thor chuckled again, but then paused. He carefully examined Kagura's appearance.

Beautiful silver hair, golden eyes, fair skin, a great figure.

Her summer outfit—tank top and denim shorts—was very appealing.

Thor's voice dropped lower. "And completely... irresistible..."

"Huh?"

Kagura tilted her head, looking at Thor curiously.

'Cough, cough!' Thor snapped back to reality.

"Anyway, once I get my powers back, I'll talk to Asgard's Academy about providing you with some of their scientific knowledge. Deal?"

"Deal!"
