The morning sun streamed into Noah's room, forcing him to get up and draw the damn curtains.

It had been nearly a week since Noah returned from Hungary. His vacation was coming to an end.

Unfortunately, for some reason, Ms. Haifin was still very much opposed to Noah sleeping in. And Noah had no excuse to offer—he couldn't exactly tell her he was meditating or training in a non-conventional way, could he?

Helpless, Noah could only stick to a regular schedule. He read books during the day and continued tutoring Ms. Haifin.

In truth, Ms. Haifin had strong magical potential, but she lacked basic knowledge of the magical world.

Thankfully, Noah wasn't the only one helping her—Harry and Hermione had been contributing as well.

Over time, Ms. Haifin gained a solid understanding of the magical world's structure and the current state of the Ministry of Magic.

"Are they all really that clueless?" she asked one day in disbelief after hearing about the British magical world's history and some of the Ministry's recent antics.

"It's not that they're clueless," Noah replied. "They just take things for granted. Their outdated mindset is destined to fail."

Noah didn't dwell too much on it. After all, those who refused to adapt usually met unfortunate ends.

Take the Hungarian Ministry of Magic, for example—the same one Noah had visited recently. Their Minister had been in power for several terms, and yet he had signed a magical contract that was practically suicidal.

Noah suspected his wife might've been a vampire—otherwise, why sign such a ridiculous agreement?

But that was in the past. While he hadn't wiped out all the creatures, he had destroyed the cursed contract.

And that was what mattered most. Only by breaking such binding agreements could they take any real action against the monsters that ruled over them.

They had been shocked that Noah found the artifact so easily—it was something they had searched for over a decade without success.

But with magicians being notoriously selfish, exorcists being unreliable, and international cooperation nearly nonexistent, it wasn't surprising that they'd been stuck for so long.

Still, they could tell Noah didn't want to discuss the matter, so they wisely stayed quiet.

As for Alexander Corvinus and his faction, the Ministry simply rounded up a few people, modified their memories, and sent them on their way.

They were hesitant when it came to Selene, but after learning that the vampire had assisted Noah, and following his explanation of her circumstances, they chose to grant her full amnesty.

Selene herself wasn't interested in staying anyway. After taking Alexander Corvinus' blood, she no longer had to fear sunlight, so she slipped away quietly. Noah had no idea where she'd gone.

"Better that than dying in some pointless battle," Noah muttered to himself.

In his mind, staying alive meant everything. There was no glory in death.

Neither Noah nor Snape cared to involve themselves in the Ministry's cleanup efforts. Their part was done.

Perhaps as a thank-you, the Hungarian Ministry paid them a staggering 15,000 gold Galleons—without even blinking. A small fortune.

As prearranged, Noah and Constantine split the earnings without hesitation.

Noah gave Angelina a cut as a mission bonus, kept a portion for himself, and gave the rest to Ms. Haifin.

Ms. Haifin was stunned by the sum. The exchange rate between Galleons and pounds was still very high.

She wanted to ask what exactly Noah had done that night—but one look at him, and she knew she wouldn't get an answer. So she dropped it.

And just like that, Noah returned to a relatively peaceful life.

There was only one day left before he returned to Hogwarts. Time had flown. Without realizing it, Noah was already halfway through his third year.

And soon, he might be saying goodbye to Hogwarts altogether.

During his time there, Noah had grown tremendously—from an ordinary boy to a capable magician.

More importantly, some of his long-term plans had quietly begun to bear fruit.

After gaining control of the Room of Requirement, Noah had quietly laid the groundwork for a future network of talent.

Some of them might even find their way to Kamar-Taj one day, meaning the small organization he was building was progressing steadily.

As for his larger plans—they were going even more smoothly, largely thanks to the presence of powerful figures like Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape.

To be honest, all Noah had done was trap Voldemort—but it turned out to be a critical move. That "trap" might as well have been a tactical nuke; Voldemort was effectively finished.

"Not sure if that's good or bad," Noah mused. "But I don't want you to think. I want me to think—and I think this is good."

Killing Voldemort early had its pros and cons.

The upside: peace returned to the magical world, especially important in a chaotic world where someone like Noah was constantly stirring the pot.

The downside: with Voldemort gone, the students had no final boss to fight!

Seriously—Voldemort's return had practically turned Hogwarts into a live-action RPG, complete with Death Eaters.

Sure, the battle had been hard, but those who survived came out stronger. Where else would they get experience like that?

Noah had questioned himself many times—was it right to intervene?

But in the end, he concluded: screw the plot.

With Noah in the picture, how could the story unfold as originally planned?

Impossible.

"Whether it's now or in the future, I'll change everything I can. Otherwise, I'd just be waiting around for Thanos to snap his fingers, hoping I survive the 50% chance, and if not, hope the Avengers fix it later?"

If that were the case, why bother learning magic at all?

Just hide somewhere safe and pray you don't get caught up in a superpowered fight.

But that wasn't Noah's style. He refused to be a passive observer. That's why he trained relentlessly—to reshape fate itself.

And the present threat—Voldemort—needed to be dealt with, period.

As for the future? Forget Thanos for now. Even the Ancient One, who Noah knew all too well, didn't deserve to suffer in silence for the sake of some preordained "balance."

Having sorted out his thoughts, Noah felt much lighter.

He had a lot to prepare today—packing, organizing, and having one last good dinner with Ms. Haifin.

Even though she'd soon be joining him at Kamar-Taj, it was still important to make the most of the moment.

Dinner was booked at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Pricey, but after his recent earnings with Constantine, Noah wasn't too concerned.

Ms. Haifin found it a bit extravagant, but said nothing—she clearly enjoyed it.

What Noah didn't expect was what happened after dinner.

While Harry was helping clean up, a knock came at the orphanage door.

When the staff opened it, in stepped a man with shoulder-length black hair and a calm, sharp expression.

"Professor Snape?" Harry blinked in surprise.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Potter?" Snape raised an eyebrow.

He glanced past Harry and saw Noah and Ms. Haifin approaching.

"Professor Snape? Why are you here?" Noah asked, confused. Ms. Haifin looked equally curious.

Snape frowned slightly. He immediately sensed that Ms. Haifin wasn't a normal Muggle—she was a magician.

That raised red flags. Noah grew up in an orphanage. Why hadn't he been told the headmistress had magic?

Noah quickly clarified, "Ms. Haifin has magical talent, but she studied in the U.S. She rejected every invitation from magical schools, thinking they were scams."

"Hmm." Snape still seemed skeptical but nodded. "At least she didn't develop an Obscurus. What's her level now?"

"She's covered most of the third-year material."

"Using your textbooks?"

"Yeah."

"Poor woman. Your books are so spotless, they might as well be brand-new."

Noah nearly choked. "What's that supposed to mean? That I don't take notes?"

He had thousands of reference books in his system's library, complete with advanced annotations! Plus, the Room of Requirement had everything!

"What are you doing here anyway, Professor? Making a home visit?" Noah asked, annoyed.

"I need you to take me to America," Snape said calmly.

"Wait—what? Today?"

"Yes. I went to Hogsmeade earlier and saw their message. If I calculated correctly, the meeting is this evening—U.S. time."

"Wow. Congratulations, Professor."

"Thank you. But the best congratulations would be if you could get me there directly."
