It must be said that Mordo knew Noah very well.

Noah really didn't want to be the lead teacher, but he couldn't go against the Ancient One's wishes.

It wasn't that he couldn't do it, but Noah simply didn't intend to take on that responsibility, so he was just complaining now.

Besides, he did plan to wear out the freshmen who were about to become his students.

All the magicians acting as lead teachers this time didn't know who their students would be. They only knew the number on their cards, so Noah had no idea who he would be leading.

The most important thing was that Noah's bad taste had returned.

One teacher leading three students—this was something Noah had jokingly suggested to the Ancient One, and now it had become reality.

Naturally, Noah wouldn't pass up the opportunity to have fun with this situation, especially when he knew the students would be learning from someone who resembled a certain white-haired, dead-fish-eyed teacher.

Noah even considered whether he should act out a survival scenario while holding a small, interesting novel, reading it and dealing with these three future students at the same time.

Well, honestly, that seemed pretty amusing, although it was a bit discouraging.

But it also provided a great opportunity for these students, who probably thought of themselves as the "chosen ones," to realize that they weren't invincible. Being admitted to Kamar-Taj didn't make you special, and maybe others were better than you. Success could come from good character, not just magical ability.

There were many such examples. Noah had seen numerous students with almost perfect grades, but they were abandoned because their character didn't match their talent.

This issue had been discussed in various magical journals. As for any darker truths, they dared not speak about them publicly, though there were certainly whispers.

"Speak, it's been almost an hour. Don't you plan to go?" Mordo asked, a little helpless. He regretted listening to Noah.

The reason he was waiting for Noah here was that their number cards were consecutive.

Consecutive numbers meant that their students might come from the same college, and Mordo knew that Noah had created this three-person group.

That's why he was waiting for Noah here—otherwise, he would have been like Wang, searching for his future students.

Sighing helplessly, Mordo turned to look at Noah and almost had a heart attack.

"Where did you get that kind of book?"

Mordo's eyes widened as he stared at the colorful magazine in Noah's hands, especially at the rabbit-head logo that had been enlarged. He was completely stunned.

"Isn't this magazine yours? Lend it to me," Noah said nonchalantly before tossing it into mirror space.

"Mine? Damn it! Where did you find it?" Mordo asked, flabbergasted.

"Uh, I found it the last time I went to your room. Just didn't mention it before. Now, lend it to me."

"No! You're not old enough to read this kind of magazine!"

"Bullshit. I'm 18! You thought it was four years ago when I first arrived here?"

Mordo didn't even want to talk anymore. He lowered his head and refused to look at Noah.

Sure, Noah was technically an adult, but was it really okay for him to act like this?

Was he really going to pull out his students for a duel while reading these magazines?

Sighing, Mordo tried to let the matter go. He looked at Noah and asked, "So, how are you going to introduce yourself to your students?"

"What about introducing myself?" Noah asked, standing up and straightening his clothes.

"Of course, you're going to introduce yourself to these students. How are you planning to communicate with them? Wait, why did you change clothes?"

"Isn't it normal to change clothes? You know I don't like wearing monk's robes. Besides, I plan to take them somewhere else. As for the introduction, I'll just say my name, what I like, what I hate, what I want to do in the future, and what interests me, etc."

Noah didn't even need to think about such things.

If Mordo had asked more in-depth questions, Noah would have had a trick up his sleeve: "I don't want to tell you what I like and hate. As for my future dreams, I can stay silent for a while and then change the subject."

For interests, Noah would just say he had many.

Such an answer was simple, convenient, and left an air of mystery about him.

Too bad Mordo didn't ask.

Noah sighed at that. If Mordo hadn't asked, he wouldn't have to give an answer. It was just a personal habit, after all.

After Noah changed into a casual outfit, another half hour passed.

Noah felt it was almost time. He and Mordo's future students had been waiting for over an hour and a half. They were probably on the verge of exploding by now.

"Let's go."

"I thought you were going to check out at night. Hurry up!"

Mordo had grown tired of waiting. If he hadn't been able to meditate or play with his phone, he would have been completely fed up by now.

Well, actually, he was fed up long ago. Seeing Noah so calm made him curious to see how patient the students would be.

Standing up, Mordo's magic surged, and a golden halo suddenly appeared in front of him.

Though it wasn't far to walk from here, he was too lazy to waste time, so Noah followed him without a care.

"I really feel like we've been abandoned."

In the lobby, the six remaining Hogwarts students truly felt hopeless.

Each of them was full of anger, but none dared to express it. After all, this was Kamar-Taj, not Hogwarts!

If someone had treated them like this in Hogwarts, they would have stormed straight to Professor McGonagall's office.

Of course, even if they hadn't, they could always choose to go home. Why were they being inexplicably bullied here?

The first day at Kamar-Taj was unpleasant, but leaving wasn't an option.

Now, they were anxiously awaiting their team leader, but they couldn't help feeling that he was too busy to come just yet.

As for getting revenge on the teacher?

Please, they didn't dare do that in Hogwarts, let alone in Kamar-Taj.

"Oh, what bad luck."

"Yes, I keep thinking our teacher seems unreliable."

The group of students whispered among themselves. By now, everyone was familiar with each other, and their bonds were strong. They trusted each other enough to speak openly without fear of betrayal.

Just as their conversation grew more intense, they suddenly went quiet.

Over the years at Hogwarts, they had gained a lot of practical experience and had become very sensitive to magical fluctuations.

They clearly felt a strong magical presence faintly emanating from the door in the front of the lobby. This made them feel both excited and uneasy.

If the person coming through the door was their teacher, it would be a reason to celebrate. But if it was just staff telling them to leave, it would be disastrous.

In the tense silence, the door slowly creaked open, and a man in monk's clothes walked in first.

This made them feel a little nervous. If it was just one person, things might be okay, but they were cautious.

Soon, another figure appeared.

This person was dressed in casual clothes and looked entirely out of place. He was very young, about their age, and quite handsome.

But that wasn't the point—the point was, they knew this guy!

"Noah?"

"…"

The rest of the students from Hogwarts were stunned, Mordo was stunned, and Noah himself was stunned.

The atmosphere in the entire hall suddenly became awkward. No one knew what to say to express their feelings.

After a long pause, Mordo finally managed to pull a smile. "Do you know each other?"

"…"

It would have been better if he hadn't asked, but Noah's face reddened further at the question.

Not only did they know each other, but three of them had shared a dormitory with him for almost three years!

The rest had known each other for nearly five years—how could they not recognize him?

Sighing, Noah realized that the Ancient One had really played a big joke on him.

Had he known it would be this group, Noah would never have waited an hour and a half—he would have just come later in the evening, or even earlier to take them away.

"I know them. They were my former classmates at Hogwarts," Noah said, looking embarrassed.

"Wow, isn't this a class reunion?" Mordo whistled.

"…"

"Speak up, you took that book—are you going to teach them a lesson while reading the magazine?"

"…"

"Alright, I'm not kidding. I remember you're from Ravenclaw, so I won't read your number tags. Those who aren't from Ravenclaw, stand up."

Mordo joked, but to his surprise, three students really stood up.

Two boys and one girl. Mordo nodded in satisfaction and led them out directly.

As for the rest, Noah and his former dormmates stared at each other, unsure of what to say.

One had vowed to teach his future students a lesson, while three others were almost certain Noah wouldn't become a teacher. This awkward scene was enough to make anyone cringe.

After a long silence, Noah scratched his head and said, "To be honest, I'm very disappointed in my students. Really."

That sentence shattered the tense atmosphere.

Evan sighed in a tone that mirrored Noah's. "To be honest, we're also very disappointed in our teacher."

"Then how about I drive you back?"

"Damn it! If you do that, I swear I'll tell everyone how sleepy you were!"

Noah had been known to nap during his first year. They had even suspected he was cursed.

Now, they felt like they were back in the old days at Hogwarts—a feeling that was strangely relaxing.

Suddenly, Lance seemed to recall something. "By the way, the teacher just said you wanted to read a book and beat us?"

"That's right."

Noah nodded straightforwardly, pulling the magazine from mirror space and shaking it in front of them with a mischievous smile as they stared at it, their faces flushing.

"Isn't this exciting?"

"If you do this, we'll definitely report you for student abuse!"

"Really? Go ahead. If you succeed, I'll make you run around Mount Everest. If you can't finish it in ten minutes, you'll be expelled."

"…"
