Chapter: 29

Roman's POV:
A sharp, blaring sound cut through the heat of the room, my ringtone shattering the moment. At first, I barely registered it—too lost in the warmth of Liam's touch, the way his fingers traced over my skin, the way Zeke shivered beneath us. Everything else faded into the background, swallowed by the tension lingering between our bodies.
But the damn phone kept ringing.
Liam huffed against my neck, his lips brushing the sensitive skin there. "Ignore it," he murmured, voice thick with amusement and something darker. "Whoever it is can wait."
I wanted to. God, I wanted to.
But the insistent ringing drilled into my skull, a persistent, nagging sound that refused to be ignored.
