EDGE OF CONTROL.

Chapter: 32

Liam's POV:

"What do you mean by that, Zeke?" I shot back, my voice sharp with unease. The fear curling inside me wasn't just growing—it was shifting, twisting into something far more dangerous, something I couldn't define. My pulse pounded against my skin as I studied his expression, searching for a hint of humor, a sign that this was just one of his dark, twisted jokes. But his face was unreadable. Cold. Unforgiving.

Dread coiled in my gut.

"You… you're not normal," Zeke stammered, and for the first time in my life, I heard hesitation in his voice. Zeke, the one who never faltered, never wavered. His uncertainty struck me harder than any blow could.

My fingers curled into fists. "Explain better, Zeke." I forced steel into my tone, masking the fear clawing at my insides.
