Aiden went silent for a moment.
What the recruiter from the Luminar Academy said was true. As someone who's class is related to Light Affinity, the choices would be between the three, Luminar, Capital and Military academies.
The other two, he shouldn't even consider them as joining them would only pull him back. He was angry for losing somone who only awakened a Death Profession but if he makes the wrong choice of academy here, he would drop from second to lower ranks, instead of reaching the top.
So, only by choosing the best academy for his growth, can he show the world that he is the genius of the academy one should remember, not the other one.
Moreover, as he propelled higher faster, he would come in contact with Mary one day or another.
Though the five gods are not ones known to socialize with others, they do need someone to act as a connection and that person would be as famous and powerful as the human gods themselves.
By growing up to that point, he would certainly would get the attention of the gods and Mary would most likely choose him as a connection point with the alliance one day.
A King needs Generals.
A general need commanders and so on.
Though he may not become a king, he would be a general of the soon-to-be Queen.
After thinking for a while, Aiden spoke again, "I choose to join Luminar Academy".
As soon as Aiden spoke those words, a smile crept on to the recruiter from Luminar Academy, while three of them were cursing him in their hearts. The one from the Dusk Academy didn't feel much about that, for he knew what the response would be from the start, the boy would not join their academy unless he had a screw loose.
Aiden didn't make the decision to join the Luminar Academy, just because the recruiter gave him the answer and guidance on how to choose the academy to join.
He chose it because Aiden already knew that Luminar was the best place for Light-based professions. They have the best resources even more than what the other four combined would have when only the Light-based resources are compared.
Only with the academy's support would he have better chances of growing up faster and becoming one of the strongest.
"Then we take our leave", the recruiters from the other four got up.
They said their goodbyes to the mayor and left the city. There is nothing else to do here but to waste their time.
Once the other four left, the recruiter from Luminar started the registration process as fast as he could.
Recruiting a top student would give him a bonus and the only reason why the professors would even go out to recruit students.
Normally that would be done by agents, who are not professors but do work for the academy in different fields when the recruitment process is over. They too get bonuses for recruiting more students to the academy.
The more and the better they are, the more bonuses that the agents would get.
The only reason why professors get involved with top-rankers is to access them and see if they are fit to be selected as their disciples later on. The bonuses are good but their ultimate goal is to see if they can get personal disciples.
Of course, not everyone would be interested in selecting students as their disciples. So, not every time these top rankers get visited by professors but agents who usually recruit normal geniuses.

Aaron after leaving his house soon entered a dungeon to level up again. He last levelled up yesterday while taking the exam and was able to reach level 15.
The academy starts in two weeks and if he can reach level 20 and rank up before that, he would have much head start over others and that would be a bonus for him as this head start would be useful to leave others behind, far behind, as quickly as possible.
For Aaron, there is only one goal and that is to take care of his parents and protect them from the dangers out there. He can only do that if he is strong himself or else they would be all dead meat when monster tides occur.
Though the higher-ups kept many details from the public, they knew that the world was not safe but the small degree of safety they were experiencing was also not true.
Though Aaron may not know that, he knew that to survive in this world, strength is all that matters, nothing else. So he needed to level up as fast as possible.
The only issue was that now the newbie time was over and to enter the dungeons, he had to pay, which he did as he saved a lot from the loot he sold.
"Now, let's have a look at my status before I start the massacre", Aaron mused to himself.

"They look good for a low-ranking dungeon but having better status would make it easier to clear the dungeon faster and that would mean I can clear the dungeon again and again, which would help me level up faster", Aaron thought to himself for a while.
Immediately he took action. It has been almost a day since he improved his attributes and now he was in control of his body well enough. So, he can now improve them and also his skills too.
