As generations passed, humanity continued to multiply upon the earth. However, with this increase in population came a tragic increase in wickedness. People turned away from God, indulging in sin, violence, and corruption. The world became filled with evil, and God, in His justice, could not allow such wickedness to continue unchecked.
One man, however, remained faithful—Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries, and he walked faithfully with God. Because of his obedience and devotion, God chose Noah to be the instrument through which He would preserve humanity and His creation.
