Kael moved swiftly through the dense forest; his senses sharp. The Wise King of the Forest carried him with ease, its large paws crushing leaves and twigs beneath them. Even after leveling up to 33, Kael felt no satisfaction. He was powerful, but still far from reaching the true peak of this world.
Soon, he encountered another large ogre, this one wielding a massive iron club and covered in thick scars. Unlike the first, this one was clearly more experienced, its red eyes filled with battle intent.
The ogre roared, swinging its weapon with terrifying speed, but Kael barely moved. At the last moment, he sidestepped, letting the massive club slam into the earth, causing the ground to shake violently.
Before the ogre could lift its weapon again, Kael formed a Sky Spear in his palm, this time charging it with only 20% of his mana to conserve energy. The spear shot forward, piercing directly into the ogre's right leg, causing it to collapse on one knee.
Roaring in pain, the beast tried to counterattack, but Kael had already moved. Summoning a second spear, he drove it straight into its skull, the force of the impact causing its entire body to convulse before it collapsed lifelessly.
Hamsuke, watching from the side, trembled slightly. "Thy grace fights with such elegance, my lord! To think that such power exists within thee!"
Kael exhaled, his mana slowly recovering. "It's not enough. Not yet."
He looked around. Most of the strong monsters had already been eliminated. Only one remained—the last truly dangerous entity in the Forest of Tob—a Level 85 beast, something he had no intention of fighting yet.
Everything else? Just low-tier monsters, not even worth his time.

Night soon fell, and Kael set up camp in a quiet clearing, Hamsuke lying beside him. The large hamster was surprisingly comfortable, its warm fur providing a makeshift backrest. The moonlight filtered through the trees, casting silver shadows around them.
Hamsuke spoke up after a while. "M'lord, I must ask… does one such as thee ever rest?"
Kael smirked. "Resting and being lazy are different. I'll rest when my enemies are dead."
Hamsuke chuckled nervously. "Then, it seems thy journey shall be long indeed."
Kael didn't answer immediately. Instead, he opened his Lottery System. He had 4,570 EXP stored, but he was curious to see what he could get from the lowest-cost lottery.
"Use 10 EXP for the Lottery."
The system responded instantly.
[Spinning…]
[Congratulations! You have received a Mid-Level Sword.]
Kael frowned slightly as a solid steel blade appeared before him. It was well-made but not extraordinary—good for an ordinary adventurer, but useless to someone like him.
He inspected it before tossing it into the dirt beside him. "Not worth it."
Still, this gave him insight into how items were categorized in the Lottery.
Item Categories in the Lottery
Low – Basic gear, such as iron weapons, common herbs, and weak spells.
Medium – Equipment used by standard adventurers, decent but not exceptional.
High – Superior weapons, enchanted gear, and moderate magic items.
Top – Gear used by high-level warriors, strong enchanted items, and rare materials.
Legacy – Ancient artifacts, powerful magical weapons, and rare bloodline items.
Relic – Extremely rare and unique items that possess special properties, often legendary in origin.
Legendary – Items wielded by heroes of the past, incredibly strong and nearly indestructible.
Divine – God-tier equipment, rumored to be created by the greatest beings in existence.
World-Class – The rarest items, capable of altering reality itself. Even in YGGDRASIL, these items could bend game mechanics, and only a few existed in the entire world.
Kael understood now. If he wanted truly powerful weapons, he needed to save his EXP for higher-tier Lottery pulls.
But for now, he needed more levels.
He made his decision. "System, upgrade my level."
[Leveling up to 34…]
[Leveling up to 35…]
[Leveling up to 36…]
Upon reaching Level 36, Kael could feel the change in his body. This was beyond human limits now—at this level, no human, not even a Hero rank, could hope to match him easily in combat.
But it still wasn't enough.
There was nothing left for him in this forest. The only monsters remaining were weak, save for the Level 85 beast, which wasn't worth the risk.
He needed bigger prey.
Kael's gaze turned toward the Angeline Mountain Range—a land of dangerous creatures and strong monsters. Unlike the Forest of Tob, which had already been mostly cleared, the mountains were filled with powerful beasts and higher-level monsters.
It was also home to dragons.
Though most of the dragons in that region were only Level 45, Kael knew that dragons were far more dangerous than other creatures of the same level. If he encountered one, he would need to escape quickly.
"Teleport."
In an instant, space bent around him, his body dissolving into particles of light. When he reappeared, the cold air of the Angeline Mountains greeted him.
At the same time, events were unfolding back in E-Rantel.
In the Adventurer's Guild – E-Rantel
The guild hall was filled with tension.
First, a black pillar of energy had erupted from the city, reaching the heavens. Then, the Forest of Tob had been thrown into chaos, with the roars of monsters echoing for miles.
Ainzach, the Guild Master, felt his stress levels rising. "This is a disaster… first the black pillar, and now the magical beasts going wild…"
He had nearly gone bald from worry. If something powerful had taken residence in the forest, the entire region could be in danger.
Then, his assistant entered. "Guild Master, we've received news! The Kingdom has sent reinforcements. They're dispatching an Adamantite-ranked team."
Ainzach's expression darkened. "Which one?"
"Blue Rose."
His eyes flickered with recognition. Blue Rose was one of the few Adamantite-ranked teams in the Re-Estize Kingdom, known for their elite skills and deadly combat abilities.
It made sense. The Adventurer Ranks were clear:
Copper – Weakest adventurers, just starting.
Iron – Slightly more experienced, but still low-tier.
Silver – The standard for most professionals.
Gold – The minimum rank needed for elite requests.
Platinum – Skilled warriors, rare but not extraordinary.
Mithril – Advanced combatants, respected worldwide.
Orichalcum – Nearing the peak of human strength.
Adamantite – The absolute strongest, bordering on legendary.
If something threatening enough had appeared, only Adamantite-ranked adventurers could handle it.
Ainzach sighed. "I hope this isn't something beyond even them."
Meanwhile, at the foot of the Angeline Mountains, Kael stood atop the rocky terrain, gazing at the wild landscape before him.
His hunt had just begun.
