4 - Memories in the past

As the celestial orb of molten gold, casting radiant beams across the sky, painting the world with a warm, golden glow. Casting warm light inside the room, where a beautiful maiden is sleeping peacefully. While a handsome young man, gazing at her with love and adoration.

Maria is sleeping peacefully in his embrace. He woke up early, just looking how cute she is curling up beside him, like a lotus flower ready to bloom. He get out of bed slowly to not wake her up. He went to the bathroom to take a quick shower, get dressed and leave the room quietly.

He went straight to the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinet and the fridge for something he could cook for breakfast. After finding everything he needs, he started cooking. A delicious aroma filled the air, he keeps busying himself, after he was done, he placed everything on the table.

Maria, still drowsy, smell the aroma, her stomach growls. She realized that she's alone in the bed, she decided to get up. Realizing he cooks something for her, feeling embarrassed. I should have woken up earlier than him.

Edward hears footsteps, coming from the bedroom. He turned towards the kitchen door and see his girlfriend standing. She looks surprised that he could cook so many food at a short period of time. She wanted to walk towards him but hesitated.

"Good morning princess, how's your sleep? Are you hungry, come here and eat." He said smiling.

"Uhh, can I go wash up first?" She looks at him, embarrassed at her disheveled look.

"Anything you want sweetheart, just hurry up or the food will get cold." He responded.

After hearing him say that, she quickly went back inside the bedroom. Accidentally slamming the door shut as she hurried to the bathroom for a shower.

After showering, she comes out from the bathroom wearing a purple silk robe. Remembering that her spare clothes were inside the guest room. She tiptoed towards the next room to get dressed. Edward was watching her, he was grinning while leaning towards the kitchen door.

Maria come out from the guest room wearing a sleeveless top and a skirt that's just above her knees, hair slightly wet and wearing no makeup. She gracefully walk towards him and holds him.

"Let's eat," he said as he guide her towards the dining table. They sat across each other and started eating. Maria took a bite from each dishes and hummed softly.

"How did you learn to cook all this? It's so delicious." She said as she was putting food on her plate.

"I'm glad you like it, I used to help the chef cook, and I also learned it myself when I started living here alone." He answered and feed her some shrimp.

"Mhmm it's good." She said as she took a bite.

They continued eating, after eating breakfast. Maria wash all the dishes and cleaned the table. Then they hang out on the sofa, it was saturday. Edward turned on the television, there's some snacks prepared on the table. A pizza, fries and burgers, a salad and two bottles of soda.

"Is there anything you want to watch?" He asked her, she was leaning towards him.

"Maybe a horror movie?" She said as she glance at him, grinning mischievously. She knows he doesn't really like watching horror movies.

He just nodded and picked a horror movie her first found. He is not afraid of horror movies, he just doesn't like watching it due to what happened in the past. He was also cuddling with her, it's very much like to his favor. Cuddling his girlfriend while watching a movie. He might even start watching horror movies with her so they could be so close like this. Teasing me huh but you're the one scared.

Edward is casually drinking his soda, while she was eating pizza. He noticed there was some crumbs on her lips and he put down his drink. He leaned closer to kiss her and also to get rid of the crumbs. From watching a horror movie to making out.

Edward is kissing her passionately and she was responding with the same intensity. Then he started kissing her neck, nibbling on it gently, making her moan softly. His hands was roaming her body, and went under her clothes. He cups her breast, gently massaging it, making her moan louder and grabs onto his hair. He kissed her lips again and he lets go of her and acts like he didn't do anything.

Maria fixed her disheveled look, blushing hard like a tomato. She looks down, avoiding his sharp gaze. She likes how he's gently massaging her, she was turned on. Feeling damped yet he abruptly stop making her curse in her heart and glares at him. What is this weird feeling?

"Sorry I was tempted to do that, I promise I'll behave myself from now on."

"I'm not angry, just don't surprised me like that, and stops abruptly. You're making me crave more.

He chuckled because of her response. Then he kissed her forehead and wraps his arm around her, cuddling her. The movie was still ongoing, they just continued watching.

"I love you," he whispered in her ears. Making her cheeks flush red, and hides her face as the movie startles her. He chuckled to her being timid and scared.

"It's just a movie, don't be scared. About your birthday, it'll be in a few days. Do you have any plans?"

"I think my parents have plans for me, but I just want a simple celebration. Or just a dinner with my family. Of course, with you there."

"Because I'm planning to inform everyone about us, that you're my boyfriend. I'm sure they'll be happy to know." She continued and smiled sweetly at him, her eyes sparkling with love.

He smiled because of her response. "What if we go on a date before your birthday?" He suggested.

"That sounds nice, I'd love to." She smiled sweetly.

"Then it's decided." He kissed her forehead.
