Chapter 18: The World’s Realization

The Aftermath of Nothingness

The Valerian Empire's palace was in chaos. Ministers shouted over one another, generals looked pale, and the emperor himself sat frozen on his throne.

No one could comprehend what had just happened.

One moment, they had been on the battlefield, marching toward victory.

The next, they were back in their homelands, unharmed.

Not a single battle was fought.

Not a single casualty.

Not a single soldier knew how they returned.

It was as if an invisible force had erased the war from existence.

And the worst part?

They all knew who was responsible.

"Frank Luminous…" the emperor muttered, his voice hoarse.

The name alone sent a shiver down the spines of everyone in the room.

The Silent Terror

Across the continent, kingdoms and empires trembled.

News spread like wildfire.

The most powerful alliance in history had gathered an army of one million warriors, backed by the greatest rulers and blessed by the gods.

And yet…

The war had lasted less than a second.

Without a battle. Without an explanation.

Frank Luminous had simply willed it to end.

Even the common folk were terrified.

"The Lazy Lord… did he truly erase a war just by speaking?"

"He must be a demon in human skin!"

"No… not even demons can do that."

They had mocked him for years.

Now, they didn't dare say his name aloud.

The Gods' Panic

In the Celestial Realm, the gods convened in an emergency meeting.

Tyran, the God of War, slammed his fist onto the table. "This is beyond unacceptable!"

Astraea, the Goddess of Fate, looked shaken. "Frank Luminous… he's completely outside our control."

"How can one man defy the divine?" another god asked.

Tyran clenched his teeth. "He's not a man. He's a monster."

A god who sat in the shadows finally spoke. His voice was grim.

"We made a mistake."

The room fell silent.

And the gods felt something they hadn't felt in eons.

Fear.

Meanwhile… Frank Is Asleep

Back in his quiet estate, Frank Luminous lay comfortably beneath his cherry blossom tree.

He was completely unaware of the chaos he had caused.

Elise, however, was pacing furiously.

"Frank… you ended a war with one sentence."

Frank lazily opened his eyes. "Huh?"

She stomped her foot. "The whole world is terrified of you now!"

Frank yawned. "Not my problem."

Elise's patience snapped. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAUSED IT!"

Frank turned over. "Eh, they'll get over it."

Elise could only stare at him in disbelief.

At this point, she didn't know whether to admire him or go insane.
