The Foundation of an Empire

Date: June 25, 2009Time: 10:00 AMLocation: Salt Lake Office, Kolkata

The monsoon winds swirled outside the Salt Lake office, carrying the distant rumble of thunder, yet inside the conference room, a different kind of storm was brewing. Aritra's core team—Ishita, Arnav, Rajat, and the department heads—had gathered, their eyes flickering between the blueprints and financial reports spread across the long polished table.

Aritra sat at the head of the table, his fingers tapping against the armrest of his chair. He had spent the last few nights planning this transition, and today, it was time to set things in motion—but slowly, step by step.

He finally leaned forward, his voice steady but commanding. "We're growing fast, but if we don't organize properly, this entire structure will collapse under its own weight. Our company is now too big to function as a single entity. We need to divide it into specialized subsidiaries."

Ishita, always quick to analyze, nodded. "A holding company?"

Aritra confirmed. "Yes. We need to split operations into multiple sectors, with each division handling its own responsibilities. This isn't just about management—it's about future-proofing our expansion."

He slid several large blueprints across the table, revealing the massive high-rise buildings he had acquired through the Legendary System. The designs were futuristic, unlike anything seen in 2009—each skyscraper an architectural marvel with sleek glass exteriors, smart energy-efficient layouts, and high-tech R&D facilities.

Arnav's eyes widened as he scanned the designs. "Where did you even get these blueprints?"

Rajat raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, these designs… they aren't just some regular office buildings. Who even came up with these?"

Aritra's fingers hovered over the blueprint for a 150-story headquarters, his expression unreadable. He had, of course, purchased them through the system, but there was no way he could explain that to his employees.

He met their gaze and replied smoothly, "I had several design firms work on them over the past few months. You've just never seen the full concept until now."

There was a brief silence. None of them fully believed him, but they also weren't in a position to question their employer. Their job was to execute his vision—not interrogate him on how he came up with it.

Ishita cleared her throat, moving past the topic. "So, what's the new structure?"

Aritra gestured toward the designated areas for each company.

Titan Telecommunications – Overseeing network infrastructure, mobile connectivity, and telecom expansion.Orion Software – Developing AI, operating systems, and business software solutions.Nova Electronics – Handling smartphones, semiconductor production, and consumer electronics.Stellar Manufacturing – Managing industrial production and factory expansions.Aegis Gaming – A subsidiary dedicated to gaming consoles, AAA game titles, and VR technology.

Arnav let out a low whistle. "So, this means we're creating an empire, not just a company."

Aritra smirked slightly. "That's the idea."

Rajat frowned slightly, running quick calculations in his head. "These buildings will cost billions to construct. Are we moving forward immediately?"

Aritra shook his head. "No, we're not rushing anything. We start slowly. First, we need to secure land—that's the priority. Construction will come later, in phases."

Ishita jotted down notes. "Where are we looking to buy?"

Aritra slid another document forward, marking strategic plots of land that were currently undeveloped and available at dirt-cheap prices.

"These locations will be the future hubs of India's tech revolution, but right now, they're just empty plots of land. That works in our favor. We buy these areas before speculation starts and then gradually begin infrastructure planning."

Arnav scanned the list and chuckled. "So, we're buying land in deserted areas and betting on the future?"

Aritra's smirk deepened. "That's exactly what we're doing. And we're going to win that bet."

Rajat nodded slowly. "Alright, so we quietly acquire the land first. What about blueprints? Do we hand these over to construction firms?"

Aritra shook his head again. "Not yet. Right now, these blueprints stay strictly within our core team. No leaks, no external firms, no early projects. We wait until the land acquisition is complete, and only then do we bring in construction companies to start planning."

Ishita leaned back in her chair, processing everything. "This is… ambitious. But if we time this right, we'll be controlling not just a company, but the foundation of an industry."

Arnav grinned. "It's a madman's plan, but I like it."

Aritra glanced at his system interface, where the blueprint purchases had been finalized. In his inventory were the designs for all five buildings, stored securely until the time was right to begin construction.

The meeting continued as financial strategies were refined, and the logistics of land acquisition were assigned to Ishita and the real estate division. They would purchase each plot under different subsidiary names, ensuring that no competitors caught on to what they were doing.

By the time the meeting concluded, the sky outside had darkened slightly, the monsoon clouds thickening overhead.

Aritra remained seated long after his team had left, staring at the blueprints laid out before him.

This wasn't just about business. This was about building the futurebrick by brick, tower by tower.
