Purchasing Armour

"Damnit another missed shot, ugh..i Don't think this path is for me" i laid down my longbow as i sighed for the umpteenth time. It's getting Very frustrating for me to hit shots any fruther than 100 meters and even closer i could barely still hit.

At this point if i had better armour I'd just go for melee. Well i think thats what i should go for.

Taking a bite out some freshly cooked meat and fruits i went into deep contemplation. Beside me was George tall and straight as ever providing me with a sense of power and security i never knew i needed.

"What do you think buddy, i should just take a sword right?" I asked George...but, ofcourse since he Couldn't talk, he just stared at me.

But since his pupils were neon blue and curved they just felt creepy to look at.

"Hah...anyways Let's just make more minions" i said as i retrieved the monster cores. I should check the store aftet this and then see if can do something more productive than sitting and watching my minions do work all day.

Since i had around 18 monster cores i made an even split of 5 warriors and 5 archers all tier-1 and 4 miners and wood-cutters, no builders cause i honestly felt i Didn't need them that much. Aside from a few usefull blueprints i Didn't really have much use for builders. Maybe when i have more blueprints and more types of minions then i could make some more of them.

For now my total minions have increased from

28 > 46. With this speed I'll soon have minions in the tripple digit.

Upon the minions materialization i made them get to work instantly.

At this point i had around 23 dedicated offensive minions i should be able to get even more monster cores now.

Sending George for another Extermination quest i looked at the stuff i could afford to sell. There were lots i could sell including minerals and monster parts and so i did. Sold them all for around 4,050 creds quite a lot i must say.

"Now then time to check the shop, really praying i get that storage shed blueprint. Damn i wanna smack my past self for not picking that..though in my defense back then, i Didn't really understand much about all this"

Whatever, I'll figure something out hopefully.

Seeing what i wanted i almost cried, but i held it in because the price for it almost doubled than what i remembered.

"Oh, It's because It's a better version of the regular one. Whatever i need it plus i can afford it"

Other than that i saw a Unqiue set of armour which i never saw before, maybe i should buy it. After all then i would be able to at least fight monsters and what not, without fearing for my life and alongside the steel sword it seems fate also wants me to switch to a different path.

"Huh..a monster core, i mean they are crucial for me especially for making Minions, but I've never seen a monster core ofthat grade before which means its of a higher grade or a unique one. Better buy it as well then. Who knows when i need it plus from the description it seems to be of a higher grade" i Thought out loud.

Finally i bought everything i wanted from the shop.

Taking the blueprint out of the inventory space i went near the builder minions who were resting after finishing another sub-section of the wall. Soon i made them learn the blueprint. As it turns out as long as one builder minion knows the blueprint the rest will automatically know it as well. All i have to say It's quite a convenient function.

I gave the builder minion the proper resources it needed for the shed and then assigned one of them for the task. The builder immediately went towards an empty area devoid of trees, thanks to the wood-cutters. It started building the Storage Shed.

The building cost me around 500 wood and 300 stone and 10 pices of unrefined iron. Not too bad i guess.

Getting a bit curious about the armour set i purchased i took it out. It was a normal set of your usual steel armour with braces steel gauntlets and leg pieces but this one had Lightning insignia at the center of the chest plate with the armour having a blue-gold theme. I maybe a bit biased but overall the armour fit me quite nicely while also looking quite cool.

Taking out the steel longsword, i swung it a few times to get a feel for it. It felt alright but I'll try it out in actual combat. I did plan to fight today alongside my minions, now that i possess such armour It's only natural i make use of it.

Before i could further progress with my track thoughts, George and his forces came back. Taking a quick look at their stats i was surprised that so few if barely any of them got injured and have more than enough Energy to spend.

Looking at the monster corpses they carried with them i could see it contained mostly mutated wolves, deers, Foxes and Some giant

Wild cats. Together they netted ne over 12 monster cores, lesser than yesterdays 18 but i Didn't mind, I'll just go with the minions myself today and hopefully will be able to get some more loot.

Since i had the necessary resources i went ahead and made 6 more warriors and archers.

Now i had a total of 35 Combat minions quite a lot from my humble beginnings. After evolving a few maxed out tier-1 minions i made my way to George who stood at the fore front of the Minion Army, he stood like general watching over his soldiers before giving a speech and who knows maybe if he could speak he would've.

"Alright, George. Off we go. Today, Since I'm coming with you. Who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky."

Saying such, I rounded up all the warrior and archer minions again and left the small but flourishing little settlement of mine. With the wooden walls getting built and the various worker minions working it looked like quite of nice sight for the eyes, it looked straight out of a video game if anything and something told me in the future it Will look even more amazing.
