Chapter 42: Enemies Meet on a Narrow Road

"Alright, let's go. We don't need to get home early anyways."

The two ignored the driver, who had gone to fetch their car and crossed the road with their fingers intertwined. Walking into the mall, they went towards the elevator, and as they were getting closer, the elevator door opened with a ding!

Three people stepped out of the elevator and Xia Weiwei must say that enemies do meet on a narrow road. It was actually Xia Xinya, Shen Hao, and one of Xinya's fair weather friends. When Xia Xinya saw Xia Weiwei holding hands with Mo Shian, her face twisted with jealous and rage for a moment before she covered it up with a smile that was uglier than crying. Mo Shian and Xia Weiwei continued walking towards the elevator while Xia Xinya and her entourage stopped in their tracks inside the elevator. It was unbelievable to Xia Xinya that Xia Weiwei's relationship with Mo Shian had gotten so good that they can walk in public while holding hands. She was in a daze for a moment before walking towards the two of them with an innocent smile. She was the real definition of a white lotus. Weiwei couldn't understand how she never saw this characteristic.

"Weiwei, brother Mo Shian, what are you doing here?" she took the initiative to ask while moving between them and Meng Zao to block her vision, probably didn't want her to see their hands.
