Kai Riden P.O.V

I walk into the Wish Family Store. My daughter loves this place, no matter how many times I tell her to not wonder off from school until I get there, Daily I find her in this ratchet place. It has such a low-quality air to it, how could a child of a man of my stature actually be seen in a place like this?

Looking around I try to find her, this place is in Hiryu territory, if I am seen here it could mean trouble for me like it did for my men, All of them were beaten to a pulp before they even made it to this excuse for a business establishment, there is never a customer here, how are they still open?

"Kaiya." I spot my daughter running past me in a fit of giggles and getting comfortable at a seat with three steaming bowls of noodles, which must be why she never eats any of her food at home. It has such a strong aroma it annoys me, I am standing too far away to have the smell irritating my nostrils.

"RIDEN."

I turn around surprised to hear someone say my name with so much venom in their tone. The audacity is laughable, and I glance at my daughter, wondering if a fight will break out right here right now, what is Toya Hiryu himself doing in a place like this?

Dad!

My eyes widen when the twins run towards Toya and he is glaring daggers at me like I owe him something, did they just call thee Toya Hiryu ‘dad’? I guess that clarifies things for me a bit better, he won’t attack me in front of his kids, but I need to get my kid out of here, "Kaiya, we are leaving. I told you to wait for me at school." I look at the twins and one of them has Snow White hair. He takes after Toya's late mother.

I watch Toya closely, he is unpredictable, he could still attack me even in front of his kids, but how? I have known these boys for the past 2 years, I never saw him around, if there is one thing I know about Toya is that he would never agree to have kids, plenty of women have fallen pregnant, but he never allowed a single one of them to have the baby, this one must have outsmarted him.

I know this man, he definitely did not know about her pregnancy, and the rumours about him doing DNA test to see if some Dichotome kid is his, turns out it was more than one.

Reina the twins mother walks out from the back and smiles at me, “Mr Riden, you are early today.” She walks towards Kaiya, “Want me to pack those to go?”

Kaiya looks at me, “I wanna sleep over.” She eats her food and looks at me waiting for one answer and it is one I cannot give her.

“No Kaiya, you cannot sleep at a boys house.” I respond and feel heat burning my right side, I turn my head and Toya is fuming. I smile, it is satisfying to watch him burn with pure hatred and there is nothing he can do about it.

Kaiya sneezes and Reina jumps back.

“Not you too.” Reina goes to the back.

Toya follows her to the back, things are about to get heated back there, I feel sorry for the woman.

Toya Hiryu P.O.V

I block Reina’s way when she tries to walk out the door and force my way in, closing the door behind, if there is one thing in this entire planet it is Kai Riden, “How could you let that man near my sons?” I lock the door and watch her every move.

Her trembling hands, her confused facial expression, her uneven breathing, and the way her hair is swaying even though there is no wind in the room, “Answer my damn question, Girl.”

Reina exhales, “I just know him as Kaiya’s father, whatever you know about him I do not know. I would never let someone dangerous near my sons.” She responds with a shaky voice, she cannot even look me in the eyes.

“You would n … “ I clenched my fists, “Never?” is she joking, “That is exactly what you did. That bastard makes money trafficking people with powers, and you just gave him access to the rarest of the rare powered kids.”

A burst from Luna pushes me back when I step closer.

I am so sorry, I did not mean to do that.

She keeps her head down being sincere, “If you had been here from the beginning, I wouldn’t be finding out now.” She slides the comment in.

I glare at her, who the hell does she think she is telling me that, “Watch your mouth, I am warning you only this once.” I take a deep breath and calm down, turning around when the door I clearly locked is now unlocked with Killuhua standing with a smile on his face.

“Hey Buddy, can you let me and your mother talk for a bit?” I pick him up and carry him to the seat for him to eat and notice Reina followed me out holding medication in her hands, “Kaiya you can take the medication with you, Rei we are not done talking.” I look at Riden, “Sit down or get out, she is still eating.” I want to kill that bastard.

I look down feeling small hands tapping my stomach, “Hiryu?”

“You are hot. Stop it.” Hiryu shakes his head at me and turns to his meal eating like he did not just scold me, who is the parent here you little punk. I take Reina’s hand to a less accessible place to talk, “Who else comes in here? I am confident no one bothers with coming here as a customer.”

Reina looks down, “I do get customers. With protests I am not doing so hot, but with the new construction company Kai Riden is running nearby I will have customers again.”

“The only reason you are open is because of your power Reina, and Riden has been promising that construction for 5 years, he is not going to start today. Now answer my question.” Or do I have to ask more direct for her to get me? “Who are you allowing near my sons when I’m not looking?” There I spelled it out for her.

“No one, the only friend they have is Kaiya, kids with powers are rare, so when they met one, I just wanted them to be friends with someone they could relate too.” Reina looks at me, “Look, can you leave us alone, I gave you the chance to be there before and you said you don’t want anything to do with them, don’t complicate things now.”

“Complicate?” a cock my head to the side, my brain cells must have rushed to one side of my head, because I am trying to count all the ones that are telling me to not kill her and I can’t find any, “There is nothing complicated about me changing my mind about my sons, there is nothing complicated about them welcoming me with open arms, the is nothing complicated here. I want to be in their lives and I made it clear to my sons that I want them to grow up with a father around, when they are older I want them to know that it was you who decided either wise, and the only thing you are complicating here is the fact that I came back for just my sons not for you.” Reina needs to face that reality. Here and Now.

I just want my sons not her.

Kai P.O.V

I take Kaiya home after she made me wait for her to change her mind about the sleep over. It did not take much convincing after she took a bath. I still cannot believe Toya Hiryu has kids, is it true that one with white hair is a Dichotome? Two powers? But it makes sense. Toya would not be involved in his sons lives either wise. Does Bella know?
