Mia leaves the blood moon Pack after being threatened by her uncle who wants to rule the Pack after killing the former alpha(her father) who was his brother.
The day she steps into the Fiery Red Pack, she finds out that the son of Alpha Kane is her mate. Instead of having a normal peaceful life with her mate, she realizes that she has to help him prove his ability to lead and protect the Pack by helping him solve the disappearances going on in the Pack while also putting up with the distasteful gazes of Alpha Kane as he doesn't believe that she is worthy of being a mate to his son.

Alpha Kane's breathing becomes fast as he stares at Elisa with his mouth agape. Spit drops out slowly from his mouth as tears begin to run down from his mouth. 


Elisa smiles fondly as she repeats again, “Malpa my love. Aren't you excited to see your sweetness?" 


"Da …vid runn”, Alpha Kane says with a raspy voice. 


David makes a bolt for the door but halts immediately, he turns backwards towards his father and smiles. 


" David”, he gasps, " Not you too.” 


Panic sets in as Alpha Kane looks steadily at David not even looking at Elisa, perhaps because he was scared of her or that he was worried for his son. 


David smiled broadly and walked briskly to a corner of the room and hugged thin air. 


“Mia", he blabbered, “You are here. I'm sorry for leaving without your knowledge. My mom asked for my help to visit some old sites." 


Kane turned as he looked at Elisa with his body shivering while he gnashed his teeth from the intense pain he was feeling.
