I'm Married, So Get Lost

"You're despicable!" Sophia glared at Joseph, who was deliberately trying to hurt her.

But she wouldn’t let him see her weakness. A smile appeared on her cold face. "Sorry to disappoint you, but they can't affect me."

"Is that so?" Joseph sneered. "Don't pretend. I saw the sadness in your eyes."

"You always have problems with your eyes," Sophia scoffed. "For example, you're even more shameless than Harper."

Joseph's face darkened at her sarcasm. "Sophia, stop acting tough in front of me. Apologize now, or I won’t spare anyone in your family!"

Sophia laughed mockingly. "Stop dreaming! I'm already married. You lost our bet!"

"Married?" Joseph was stunned. He suddenly grabbed Sophia’s arm as she tried to leave, his eyes burning with anger. "Where's your marriage certificate?"

Sophia was caught off guard. The certificate was with Robert. "I didn’t bring it with me."

Joseph sneered, his voice full of mockery. "You’re such a disgusting woman. You can’t even prove your marriage!"

"Gross." Sophia raised her hand to shake off Joseph. "Don’t touch me."

"Admit defeat." Joseph tightened his grip on her, his tone threatening. "Otherwise, you won’t have a good ending."

"I’m right in front of you. If you have the guts, kill me now," Sophia’s eyes were sharp and cold, her aura fierce. "If you don’t kill me today, I will make you regret it in the future."

"You?" Joseph looked at her with disdain. "Don't try to act tough in front of me. You don’t have the ability to kill me, but I do. Besides, I know very well that as my fiancée, no one in River City dares to marry you!"

"Who said no one dares to marry me?"

Suddenly, a clear and deep voice, sharp as a knife, sounded from nearby.

Sophia was about to mock Joseph when she suddenly heard a voice and froze.

It was Robert.

Joseph was also taken aback. He felt like he had heard that voice somewhere before.

As he turned to look, a fist came flying toward his face.

The sharp pain made his eyes tear up. He instinctively took two steps back, releasing Sophia’s hand that he had been holding tightly.

Sophia was stunned.

Robert, the CEO of the Miller Family Group, was holding her in his arms, as if she were something precious.

"You...," Joseph looked at Robert angrily, but his voice trailed off when he saw who had taken Sophia away.

Robert narrowed his phoenix-like eyes, his voice cold and full of dominance. "She is my wife."

Joseph’s anger disappeared in an instant. Robert’s aura was too powerful.

Even after being beaten, Joseph forced himself to stay calm and said, "Master Miller, Sophia is my fiancée. How can she be your wife?"

Sophia was indeed beautiful, but to Joseph, she was too ordinary for someone like Robert to take an interest in.

Robert didn’t even look at Joseph. He simply held Sophia’s hand and used his other hand to fix her messy hair from their struggle earlier, making her look more composed.

Sophia was surprised, but she deliberately put on a shy expression as she glanced at Joseph.

Joseph clenched his fists tightly. His hands trembled as he watched Robert and Sophia act like a loving couple. The sight stung his eyes.

Robert's cold gaze fell on Joseph. His voice was low and threatening. "Joseph, no matter what kind of relationship you had with Sophia before, she is now my wife. That punch was just a warning. If you dare cause trouble for her again, I will destroy the Mu family."

The tension between men was always filled with unspoken challenges. Joseph looked at Robert, his face pale.

"Why is it you?" he asked in disbelief. "Sophia is my fiancée, and we’re getting married tomorrow!"

In all of River City, Robert could have any woman he wanted. Why did he have to take Sophia?

The bet between him and Sophia was that she had to admit to being his fiancée first. But now, Robert had married her, trampling the entire Garcia family underfoot.

Robert didn’t even glance at Joseph. Instead, he turned to Sophia.

"How do you want me to deal with him?"

Sophia was caught off guard. She wanted to rip Joseph apart, but she didn’t want Robert getting too involved in her affairs. Their marriage was just a contract, and Robert was a cold man. It was better not to drag him into unnecessary trouble.

"Let's go," Robert said, taking her hand.

"Master Miller, you can’t take Sophia away! She’s my fiancée!" Joseph shouted anxiously.

"A fiancée is not a wife," Sophia stopped and looked at Joseph, using Robert’s own words.

"Sophia, come back. The wedding is still happening tomorrow. I'll give you anything you want," Joseph said, unwilling to let her go.

Sophia felt her heart race, but she deliberately put on a sweet smile. Then, she suddenly leaned in and kissed Robert’s chin.

Robert’s eyes flickered slightly at the unexpected warmth.

The next moment, Sophia leaned her head against Robert’s chest and looked at Joseph mockingly.

"I’m married. You lost to me," she said. "As for tomorrow’s wedding, you can marry whoever you want. I’ll even be generous and wish you a great marriage, one with no children and no grandchildren."

Joseph's face turned pale with anger.

"Sophia!" He was furious.

"Honey, let’s go home. Don’t waste time with this stinky man," Sophia said sweetly, holding onto Robert's arm.
