Framing Sophia

"Smack!" Sophia raised her hand and slapped the maid across the face.

"Madam, why did you hit me?" The maid covered her cheek and started crying.

"I hit you because your words are too cruel," Sophia said sharply. "I didn't care when you insulted me, but Anthony is just a child. How could you say such horrible things about him, even wishing him dead?"

She angrily slapped the maid twice more.

"We… we didn't…" The maid weakly tried to defend herself, but then her eyes lit up, and she suddenly said, "Madam, the housekeeper…"

"Absolutely outrageous!" A woman’s voice scolded.

Sophia turned around and saw a well-dressed lady standing there with Anna and Uncle Mark, the butler, beside her.

"It’s her! Sophia hit me right in front of Brother Robert!" Anna's eyes were filled with hatred when she saw Sophia back in the mansion. "A secretary who was brought back by Brother Robert… Aunt Stella, you have to help me!"

"How could it be you?" The noblewoman gasped when she saw Sophia’s face, her expression one of shock. "You… aren’t you dead? Why are you still alive?"

Sophia frowned.

"Of course, I’m alive. Whoever wanted me dead didn’t succeed!"

"No… you’re not her…" The woman seemed even more shaken. "You just look like her… you’re not her…"

"Madam…" Uncle Mark stepped forward and reminded her in a meaningful tone, "Her name is Sophia. She is the madam."

Sophia understood now. This woman was Robert’s mother, and she had mistaken her for someone else.

"Brother Robert isn’t married! Sophia is not his wife!" Anna stomped her foot angrily and turned to Uncle Mark. "And Uncle Mark, what are you doing just standing there? Didn’t you see her hit the maid? How can this vicious woman stay in the mansion? What if she hurts Anthony? Can you take responsibility for that?"

"Miss Anna, she hit us for no reason," the maid cried pitifully. "Madam, Miss Anna, butler, please help me!"

"Uncle Mark, did you hear that?" Anna smirked as she looked at Sophia. "Get her out of here!"

Uncle Mark ignored Anna and the maid. Instead, he turned to Sophia and introduced the lady. "Madam, this is Master Miller’s mother, Lady Stella. She came to visit the young master and little master."

"Get Sophia out of here!" Stella’s eyes were filled with both fear and anger.

Uncle Mark hesitated. "Madam…"

"Get her out!" Stella shouted hysterically, leaning against Anna as if she felt unwell.

"Uncle Mark, you know Aunt Stella’s health isn’t good, yet you still upset her on purpose?" Anna rebuked him angrily. "If something happens to Aunt Stella, Robert won’t spare you!"

Uncle Mark looked troubled. He turned to Sophia and said, "Madam, maybe you should leave the estate for now."

"Why should I leave?" Sophia glared at him. "I won’t let myself be framed. Let’s go find Master Miller and settle this."

"Aunt Stella, we can’t let Sophia see Robert! She’ll twist the truth and turn him against us!" Anna panicked and tried to persuade Stella. "Sophia is good at stirring up trouble. She’ll definitely ruin your relationship with Robert!"

"Throw her out!" Stella, who cared deeply about her son’s loyalty, roared in anger. "Get this wicked woman out of here and never let her back in!"

Sophia had barely taken a few steps when two bodyguards suddenly appeared, grabbed her arms, and dragged her toward the door.

"Let me go! Let go of me!" She struggled fiercely.

But as a woman, she was no match for two strong men. No matter how hard she fought, she couldn’t break free.

Meanwhile, Anna stood there watching as Sophia was forcefully removed. A satisfied smirk appeared on her face.

"Uncle Mark, you’d better keep quiet and not tell Robert about what happened here," she warned coldly. "Aunt Stella will handle everything herself."

Stella shot Uncle Mark a fierce glare.

"Yes, madam," Uncle Mark replied before leaving with two maids.

"Mom, if you’re not feeling well, you should rest. Why did you come here?" Robert asked, looking at Stella’s pale face.

"I asked you to go on a blind date, and instead, you secretly brought a vicious woman into the Miller family?" Stella said angrily.

Robert frowned and spoke in a low voice. "Who I marry is my own business."

"You—!" Stella slammed her hand against the table in frustration. "You can marry whoever you want, but not Sophia!"

"I will only marry Sophia," Robert said firmly. Then he turned to Anna. "Didn’t you learn your lesson from yesterday?"

Anna’s face turned pale. Yesterday, she had been drugged and thrown into a nightclub, where she had been tormented all night.

"Brother Robert, you misunderstood me! I didn’t do anything… I didn’t say anything to Aunt Stella!" Anna said, pretending to be innocent.

But in reality, she had fed Stella countless bad things about Sophia. That was why Stella had rushed over to the Sunset Villa early in the morning. She had caught Sophia hitting someone, which gave her the perfect excuse to kick Sophia out.

Sophia wants to fight me? Not in this lifetime!

As for Robert saying he would marry Sophia, Anna didn’t believe it for a second. He must have only said it to make her give up. After all, Sophia would never be accepted by their family.

Yes, that must be it!

Just then, Robert turned to leave.

"Where are you going?" Stella demanded. "What about Anthony?"

"I don’t need to tell you where I’m going," Robert said coldly. "Anthony went to find my wife."

"What?!" Stella was stunned.

Anna’s eyes flashed with malice. "Brother Robert! Earlier, when Sophia hit the maid and Aunt Stella scolded her, Sophia left angrily—with Anthony in her arms!"

"Yes," Stella added, giving Anna a meaningful glance. "Sophia kidnapped Anthony. Anna, call the police immediately."

"No police!" Robert’s face darkened as soon as he heard their words. He immediately turned and walked away. "Someone, escort my mother and Miss Anna back to the old mansion."

"Robert, how could you kick your own mother out?" Stella screamed in anger, but she was still forcibly taken away.

Meanwhile…

Sophia, who had been thrown out by the bodyguards, landed hard on the ground outside the Sunset Villa. She was shaking with rage, but the pain from her injuries was nothing compared to the humiliation of being framed and bullied.

Just then, an empty taxi passed by. Sophia waved it down and got in. "My family is full of scumbags, but I never thought Robert’s family would be the same!" she muttered angrily. "Driver, take me to Moonview Apartments."

A few minutes later, when she got out of the taxi, the driver suddenly called out to her.

"Miss, you forgot your child."

"Child?" Sophia turned to look at him in shock. "What child?"
