"Where are you going?" Stella demanded. "What about Anthony?"
"I don’t need to tell you where I’m going," Robert said coldly. "Anthony went to find my wife."
"What?!" Stella was stunned.
Anna’s eyes flashed with malice. "Brother Robert! Earlier, when Sophia hit the maid and Aunt Stella scolded her, Sophia left angrily, with Anthony in her arms!"
"Yes," Stella added, giving Anna a meaningful glance. "Sophia kidnapped Anthony. Anna, call the police immediately."
"No police!" Robert’s face darkened as soon as he heard their words. He immediately turned and walked away. "Someone, escort my mother and Miss Anna back to the old mansion."
"Robert, how could you kick your own mother out?" Stella screamed in anger, but she was still forcibly taken away.

Meanwhile…
Sophia, who had been thrown out by the bodyguards, landed hard on the ground outside the Sunset Villa. She was shaking with rage, but the pain from her injuries was nothing compared to the humiliation of being framed and bullied.
Just then, an empty taxi passed by. Sophia waved it down and got in. "My family is full of scumbags, but I never thought Robert’s family would be the same!" she muttered angrily. "Driver, take me to Moonview Apartments."
A few minutes later, when she got out of the taxi, the driver suddenly called out to her.
"Miss, you forgot your child."
"Child?" Sophia turned to look at him in shock. "What child?"
The driver pointed to the back seat.
Sophia quickly turned around and gasped, "Anthony..."
Anthony, a small child, was curled up in the back seat, looking helpless like an abandoned kitten.
Sophia's heart ached. She hurriedly picked him up and held him tightly.
"Don't be afraid, baby. I'm here with you."
The driver shook his head. "You're such a careless mother. Your son got in the car while you were sitting in the driver's seat, and you didn't even notice him when you got out."
Sophia admitted her mistake. "It's my fault." She looked at Anthony apologetically. "I was too angry when I got in the car and didn't see you. I'm sorry."
Anthony clung to Sophia's neck, his little body tense.
Sophia held him with one hand while pulling out her phone with the other, wanting to call Robert to pick him up. But when she pressed the power button, the screen remained dark—her phone was dead. Worse still, she didn’t even know Robert’s number.
"Sophia, you finally came back!" A sharp voice rang out.
Sophia frowned as she looked over and saw Abigail standing at the entrance of her apartment building with a gloomy expression.
"Ah... a ghost!" Abigail screamed when she saw the child in Sophia's arms.
Anthony trembled. His small hands gripped Sophia’s clothes tightly.
"Don't be scared, baby. I'm here." Sophia comforted him gently.
Abigail's eyes widened in realization. "No wonder you didn't marry Master Garcia! You secretly had a child out of wedlock! And it's a cursed little demon!"
"You shut up!" Sophia glared at Abigail angrily. "You're the greedy demon!" She quickly carried Anthony toward the elevator, not wanting him to hear more of Abigail’s cruel words.
Abigail suddenly grabbed her wrist. "You can’t leave! You offended Mrs. Mia, so you must kneel and apologize to me! I won’t let you ruin our whole family!"
"Let go of me!" Sophia yanked her hand away. "Don’t scare the child."
The commotion attracted many onlookers. Abigail’s eyes flashed with malice, and she suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"Ah... how unlucky I am! My daughter became a mistress and even had a child out of wedlock! I only said a few words to her, and she hit me!"
"Who’s the mistress? Stop talking nonsense!" Sophia glared at Abigail, furious at her lies.
"Oh my God, being a mistress is so shameless," someone whispered.
"Which daughter hits her own mother? So unfilial!" another person chimed in.
"Yeah! A woman like this is worse than a snake!"
Sophia's face turned pale. "I never became a mistress, and I never hit her! She fell on purpose!"
Abigail suddenly knelt before Sophia, her face full of sorrow. "Daughter, please! Don’t be a mistress and ruin someone else’s family! Mom is begging you! Wives have even cut their wrists because of mistresses like you! Don't you feel guilty?"
The crowd gasped.
"Oh my God, did this woman cause someone to commit suicide?"
"She’s so vicious! Why is she still alive?"
"I never expected such a disgusting person to live in our building!"
Sophia clenched her fists. She had never felt so humiliated before.
"Abigail, if you love acting so much, go ahead and act. But I won’t play along." Holding Anthony tightly, she walked away. The only way to stop Abigail’s slander was to leave.
Inside her apartment, Sophia trembled with anger, but she was more worried about Anthony.
"Baby, let me pour you some water." She tried to put Anthony down.
But Anthony’s small arms only tightened around her.
Seeing this, Sophia sighed and stopped trying to put him down.
"Don't be afraid. I’m here, and I won’t leave you." She gently reassured him. "You’re my favorite baby. I won’t let anyone hurt you."
Hearing her words, Anthony made a choking sound and buried his face in her arms.
Sophia’s voice trembled as she softly sang his favorite nursery rhyme. Slowly, Anthony relaxed in her embrace.
The sunlight outside was warm, but it couldn’t melt the coldness in her heart. Abigail's cruelty was beyond words.
She sat on the balcony, holding Anthony in her arms, trying to calm herself down.
Sensing Sophia’s unusual quietness, Anthony peeked up at her.
"What... are you doing?"
Sophia closed her eyes with a faint smile, pressing a hand to her ear. "I’m listening to the wind."
Anthony looked confused but mimicked her actions.
"The wind is just blowing. What's so special about it?" he asked.
Sophia smiled. "Close your eyes and feel it with your heart. Listen to the wind whispering and singing."
Anthony hesitated before closing his eyes.
After a while, Sophia asked, "Do you feel the peace in your heart?"
Anthony slowly nodded. "The wind is singing..."
Sophia kissed his forehead and asked softly, "Baby, do you feel better now?"
Anthony nodded again.
Sophia smiled warmly. "You followed me out without saying a word. Your dad must be worried. Should I take you back?"
The moment she mentioned Robert, Anthony hugged her tightly. "No... no... don’t leave me..."
Sophia’s heart ached. She stroked his head and said, "If you don’t want to go back, how about we eat something? It’s already noon. If I don’t eat, I won’t have the strength to carry you anymore."
After thinking for a moment, Anthony finally let go of her.
After lunch, Anthony fell asleep. Sophia gently laid him on the sofa, covered him with a thin blanket, and began tidying up the apartment.
After today’s incident, she would definitely become infamous in the neighborhood. She had to move out soon to avoid more trouble.
After a long, exhausting day, she finally took a shower. As she stepped out of the bathroom, she absentmindedly called out, "Anthony, are you awake?"
But when she saw the person standing there, she froze.
"Master Miller, you took my son," she said in a panic, trying to explain.
Robert’s gaze was cold and serious. "Sophia, we’re already husband and wife. If you need help, just tell me. But don’t use this kind of method to gain my favor."
Sophia, already frustrated from a day of misunderstandings, snapped. "Yes, I used this method to win your favor! What are you going to do about it? Come and get me if you dare!"
Robert narrowed his eyes. After a moment, he took a step toward her. "Don’t say things you don’t mean."
Sophia lifted her chin defiantly. "What’s wrong? Are you scared? Or... is there something wrong with you?"
Her damp hair clung to her skin, and under the light, her delicate features looked even more alluring.
Robert's gaze darkened. He reached up, loosening his tie and unbuttoning his shirt.
Sophia's eyes widened in alarm. "What are you doing?"
Robert’s voice was low and magnetic. "You said I wouldn’t dare, didn’t you?"
His deep gaze locked onto hers. "Well, I’ll give you a chance to see if I really won’t dare."
Before Sophia could react, Robert had already trapped her in his arms. His lips crashed down on hers, strong and dominating, leaving her no room to escape.
