Guaranteed to Make You Happy

Suddenly, the door burst open.

Mr. Chen grabbed Ava tightly. "Little beauty, where do you think you're going? Be a good girl and listen to me..."

"Ah... let go of me..." Ava struggled and screamed. "I'm not Sophia, I'm Ava! Let go of me!"

"The more you struggle, the more I like you," Mr. Chen said, holding Ava so tightly that she couldn't escape.

The stench on Mr. Chen's body made Ava almost vomit.

"Help... someone help me..." she cried out miserably. "Let go of me! I'm not Sophia!"

Mr. Chen threw Ava onto the bed.

Ava was stunned and couldn't react for a moment.

"Ah... let me go... please let me go..." she screamed, struggling, but she couldn't break free. Her anger turned into despair, and she lost all her strength, only able to endure.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the door was kicked open.

"Someone reported illegal transactions here." The leader turned on the lights and saw the mess. "Take them all away for investigation."

"Let me go..." Ava kept struggling and screaming, trying to break free from the handcuffs on her wrists. "I didn’t do anything! You can't take me away! I won’t go to the police station!"

As she was forcibly taken away through the hotel lobby, many people watched and took out their phones to film her. The sound of flashing cameras was endless.

"Don't film me! Stop filming me!" Ava screamed in despair.

At that moment, Sophia stood in a corner of the lobby, watching coldly as Ava was taken away.

The next moment, she walked toward Joseph and stood in front of him.

"Sophia!" Joseph gritted his teeth in hatred.

"You tried to set me up?" She sneered. "Joseph, I'm not some naive girl you can bully! It looks like kneeling in front of me last time wasn’t enough for you. Do you want to kneel again?"

"You..." Joseph's face twisted in anger at her words. "You're asking for death!"

"I'm holding onto Master Miller’s thigh, so I can’t die," Sophia mocked. "But you? You might not be so lucky."

"Sophia, go tell Master Miller that tonight’s incident was your sister framing you! It has nothing to do with me!" Joseph straightened his back.

"For something so small? I really have no intention of telling Master Miller." Sophia looked at him with disdain. "Only someone with a petty mind like you would think that way."

After saying that, she turned to leave.

"Sophia, this isn't over between us!"

Joseph shouted angrily.

Sophia turned her head and smiled, her stunning face looking even more dazzling.

"Joseph, use whatever tricks you have. I, Sophia, will face you to the end."

"Sophia!" Joseph roared in fury and punched the wall.

Sophia left the hotel and stood in the cold wind, waiting for a taxi. A gust of wind blew, lifting her long black hair, making her look like an elf in the night, breathtakingly beautiful.

In the distance, Robert sat in his black Rolls-Royce, watching Sophia with a faint smile in his narrow, phoenix-like eyes. For once, his usually restrained emotions showed through.

The next moment, the Phantom car stopped in front of Sophia. The window rolled down, revealing Robert’s handsome profile.

"Get in," he said in a cold, deep voice, with a trace of gentleness.

Sophia was surprised to see him. For a moment, she remembered how indifferent she had been toward him at the Miller Family Group, and her heart ached.

But she didn’t say anything. She opened the car door and sat in the back seat.

"President Robert, what are you doing here?" she asked, breaking the silence.

"Just passing by," he replied.

"Passing by?" Sophia looked at Robert in surprise, but his face was hidden in the darkness, making it hard to read his expression.

The car remained silent until it stopped. Robert reached out his slender hand toward Sophia.

"What is this?" Sophia was shocked as she looked at him.

"A gift." He placed the box on her lap before getting out of the car.

Sophia opened it and saw a new phone and a black card inside.

"I can’t accept such an expensive gift, President Robert," she said, getting out of the car. But before she could return it, Anthony hugged her leg.

She looked up and saw that Robert had already walked away into the night, leaving Anthony behind.

"Baby..." She sighed, put the gift in her handbag, and picked Anthony up, holding him close.

Anthony immediately rested his little head on Sophia's shoulder.

"You’re so cold. Have you been waiting for a long time?" Sophia asked softly, hugging him tighter.

Anthony nodded.

"Young Master has been waiting for Madam and Young Master in the garage since dinner," Uncle Mark, the butler, said.

Sophia ignored him and just wanted to take Anthony inside as soon as possible.

Uncle Mark watched Sophia's indifference toward him, his eyes filled with complicated emotions.

"Baby, did you eat well?" Sophia asked Anthony gently once they were inside.

Anthony nodded.

"It's very cold at night in autumn. Don’t wait outside anymore," Sophia said, kissing his forehead. "I’m very tired today. Let’s wash up and go to bed early."

Anthony nodded again.

That night, Sophia fell asleep holding Anthony tightly, exhausted.

Robert returned to the room and looked at her, a hint of tenderness flashing in his eyes.

Just like the night before, he took Anthony from Sophia’s arms and pulled her slender waist into his embrace.

She seemed to sense his presence, snuggling into his chest and murmuring in her sleep before quieting down.

Once again, Robert couldn’t sleep.

The next morning, at the breakfast table, Sophia placed the gift in front of Robert.

"Master Miller," she said seriously. "I can’t accept such a valuable gift. We should keep our relationship clear."

"Anthony." Robert ignored her and handed the gift to the child. "Give it to your mother. If she doesn’t take it, you can’t sleep with her tonight."

Hearing that he wouldn’t get to sleep with Sophia, Anthony quickly took the gift and handed it to her.

Sophia was stunned. "What does this mean?"

Anthony tugged at her clothes with his small hands. His big, innocent eyes were filled with expectation, like a little deer.

Even if she had a heart of stone, she couldn’t resist his gaze.

Reluctantly, she took the gift from Anthony’s hands.

"President Robert—" she started.

"It’s from Anthony," Robert interrupted, elegantly eating his breakfast. "If you want to return it, give it back to him."

After Robert finished speaking, Anthony quickly shook his head, his big eyes full of refusal.

"You and your son..." Sophia sighed helplessly. "I give up on you both."

Robert glanced at Sophia, who was pouting like a dissatisfied little girl. The corners of his thin lips curled up slightly.

The next day, on the weekend, Sophia had already found an apartment and planned to move out.

"Sophia!" Ava’s sharp voice rang from downstairs. "You slut! I’m going to kill you!"
