Chapter 45: Meeting Brain Unglaus, New World.

Teleporting back to E-rantel, Lioro started looking for Brain Unglaus's location.

Brain Unglaus was part of a hidden mercenary group, responsible for various unethical practices such as robbery, prostitution, killing rape, etc.

He got this information after interrogating the fifth gang member he came across inside a dark alley.

"P-please sir....hick....let me go....."

"Did you let him go? When he begged you?"

Lioro asked in a plain voice, pointing at the corpse of a young boy emaciated boy thrown at the corner of the room to rot like some trash.

"I-I had no choice--"

*Crack*

With minuscule effort, Lioro cracked the man's neck, killing him on the spot.

"Tell your reason to the boy in the afterlife."

Shaking his head, Lioro silently glanced at the dark room around him.

It was filled with fifth and the corpses of children and young women lying here and there along with the corpses of the gang members he just killed.

"It's unpleasant."

Lioro said in a low voice.

Raising his hand he created a fireball and threw it out, enveloping the entire place.

Placing his hands behind his back, Lioro walked out of the burning place.

"A fire! There's a fire!"

"It's burning! the entire building is burning!"

Ignoring the shouts of the onlookers, Lioro used an invisibility spell and left the place.

He has already gotten the information about Brain from the gang member.

Following the direction, Lioro left the border city and arrived in front of a cave hidden in the wilderness.

Canceling invisibility, Lioro appeared before the two guards guarding the entrance.

"W-who-"

Seeing Lioro who suddenly appeared out of nowhere wearing his ice dragon king's heavy armor, the two guards couldn't even finish their words before they were frozen into solid pillars of ice.

'Dominance of Frost Dragon' was a passive skill of his cape, whose only effect was to decrease movement speed in a 10-meter radius, but when the opponent was really weak, it ended up killing them directly.

Originally Lioro was stopping its effect by using infinity, but now there was no need for him to show reservation.

With unhurried steps, Lioro made his way inside the cave.

Taking out a dagger from his inventory, Lioro casually threw it at the bandit who appeared in his way.

The dagger pierced the bandit's chest, and then the force contained inside the dagger made the bandit fly through the air before embedding him in the wall, killing him, making large spider-like cracks appear on the wall.

*Boom*

The sudden loud sound attracted the nearby bandits.

"Who is there?"

A blue-haired man holding a katana in his hand casually walked out with several guards behind him.

It was the man he had been looking for, Brain Unglaus.

"You..."

Looking at Lioro in his gorgeous-looking armor, Brain was taken aback.

Merely from the aura being emitted by the armor, he could tell it was a magic weapon.

'Just how did this group of mercenaries manage to anger such an enemy? damn, this is what I get for trying to make a quick cash...'

Scratching his head in frustration, Brain looked at Lioro with sharp eyes.

Although he felt that Lioro was strong, it was only because of his magic equipment, skill wise he didn't think Lioro was his match.

After all, he was Brain Unglaus, a genius from birth who was only ever defeated in a match against Gazef, the strongest swordsman of the kingdom.

"Show me your martial arts."

Lioro said while looking at Brain.

Brain Unglaus raised his eyebrow.

It seems the opponent knew him.

Yet he still dared to fight?

Well, no matter.

Brain got in a stance and said.

"Field."

It was a martial art he created to fight Gazef.

With him as the center, a circular field spread out, forming a field.

Accepting the prompt, Lioro raised his hand.

"Magic Arrow."

Instantly several magic arrows formed behind him.

"What?!"

Brain looked at the scene with shocked eyes.

We agreed to a sword fight and you used magic?

Under Lioro's control, several magic arrows rushed out.

Brain Unglaus clicked his tongue and hurriedly moved his sword to intercept the attack.

But the next moment he stopped in place because none of the magic arrows were aimed at him.

Death cries of the bandits rang out from behind him, making Brain tightly clench his katana.

"Go ahead, show me all of your martial arts."

Hearing the calm voice, a drop of sweat slid down Brain's cheek.

"I don't have much time, so I advise you to hurry up."

Gritting his teeth, Brain opened his mouth and shouted in a loud voice.

"Martial Arts: Fortress! Ability boost! Heavy Blow!"

Then he rushed straight at Lioro.

Only to be beaten the very next second.

"M-monster..."

Brain Unglaus said in a disbelieving voice as he fell down on his back with a defeated look on his face.

Lioro brought up his panel and looked at all the new martial arts he just gained.

Capacity Building: Increases the body's overall capacity.

Crosses: Cutting Edge: Able to gather air to give an extra cutting edge to a blade.

Field: A unique martial art that allows one to perceive everything within a three-meter range. In simpler words, it raises the user's accuracy and evasion to the utmost limit.

Fortress: Can be used to offset the enemy's attacks.

Greater Ability Boost: Heavy Blow: Raises the weapon's crushing capability.

Instantaneous Flash: A unique art, that allows user to attack at an extreme speed.

Strong Assault: Increases attack power allowing oneself to damage someone with heavy armor.

Feeling the movement in front of him, Lioro put away the pannel and saw Brain Unglause running away for his life.

After thinking for a second, Lioro decided not to kill him, since Brain Unglaus would in the future create an even more advanced version of his martial arts 'field' which was quite powerful.

Walking forward, Lioro started exploring the bandit's layer.

He put away all the gold he saw and killed any remaining members of the gang.

After he was done, Lioro used a tier 6 spell to burn down the place before teleporting away.

Lying on top of the roof of a random house in E-rantel with invisibility on, Lioro looked up at the night sky.

In a little more than a week he managed to accomplish his task of creating armour and learning martial arts.

It was good progress.

'My experience pool is running low and the week date I gave my undead has already passed.....'

It was time to return to danmachi.

Teleporting back to his house, Lioro went to find his sisters.

Knocking on the wooden door, Lioro waited.

Not long after the door opened, revealing the figure of his elder sister Tsuare.

"Lioro? What's wrong?"

Tsuare asked.

"There's something I need to tell you."

She looked at him in confusion.

"...?..Well, come in first."

Turning around she made way for him.

Lioro stepped inside her room and then sat on a wooden chair nearby.

Tsuare grabbed a headband from the dressing table and bound her free-falling hair with it before sitting on the bed and asking.

"What did you want to talk about? Lioro?"

"Sister I plan to have both you and Ninya shift to another place."

Tsuare was taken aback.

"Why all of a sudden..?...did something happen?"

She asked in a small voice.

"The place I am going to take you is a lot safer than here."

"Safer?"

"Yes."

Lioro nodded his head.

"If we leave then what about the burger business?...."

"Uncle and Aunty will handle it here, I can also open another shop at the new place if you want."

"This...."

Tsuare fell silent.

If possible then she didn't want to to move.

After all the city and the people here were very nice! She was just starting to get familiar with the neighborhood!

She also enjoyed making burgers, it gave her a feeling of fulfillment.

She didn't want to leave....

But looking at Lioro's calm face, Tsuare knew it must be something serious.

There must be a reason their brother didn't want them to stay at E-rantel.

After thinking for a few seconds, Tsuare opened her mouth and asked.

"Brother....can you tell me where we are going?"

Another city? Perhaps the royal capital? As it was the safest place in the kingdom.

Seeing her confused expression, Lioro smiled and said.

"We're going to another world."

Tsuare's eyes widened in surprise.

Since it was already late at night, Lioro told her to rest first and then tell Ninya in the morning.

Leaving Tsuare's room, Lioro made his way upstairs.

Suddenly he stopped and looked at the corner.

There he saw the new maid Rowena who seemed to be wiping dust off the shelf.

The hell?

Did she not know what time it was?

Lioro walked up to her.

Hearing the sound of footsteps, Rowena turned around, seeing Lioro she quickly bowed.

"Master Wizard...."

"Why are you working so late?"

Lioro asked.

"I-I was unable to sleep....."

Rowena said while biting down on her lips.

'Working top hard?'

Seeing the dark circles under her eyes, Lioro thought.

"Don't stay up too late, it's bad for your health."

"Yes, I understand master wizard...."

Rowena hurriedly nodded her head as if afraid of offending him.

Taking out a gold coin from his inventory, Lioro threw it at her.

"Here take this."

Perhaps she was too tired or her motor reactions were slow in general as she was unable to grab the gold coins making it hit her forehead before falling to the ground.

Lioro didn't know what to say.

That was such a slow throw, yet she couldn't catch it...

Lightly rubbing her forehead, Rowena bends on her knees to pick up the coin.

But before she could pick it up from the floor, Lioro grabbed it first.

Then under her confused eyes, he handed the gold coin in her hands.

"Here's your overtime pay."

Patting her head, Lioro walked towards his room, entered it, and closed the door.

Rowena looked at the closed wooden door and then at the gold coins in her hand.

Unknowingly she touched her head and a small blush appeared on her face.

Why does master wizard-like patting heads so much?

She was a grown woman...not a kid....

Inside the room, Lioro sat on his bed.

Pulling up his pannel he looked at the decreased skill points.

He only had 29 left...

'Let's do a quick world travel to farm points.'

He will come back by morning.

Thinking so he got up from his bed and activated his world travel ability.

Void trembled before Lioro vanished from the place.

On top of a snowy mountain, the space flickered before Lioro appeared in place.

"What a cold welcome..."

Lioro said as he looked at the snowflakes around him.

Then without a second thought, he looked down.

Fortunately, it seems his equipment worked and his clothes were still there.

Releasing a sigh of relief, Lioro was just about to look around when an unknown voice entered his ears.

"....ow...glo...wide..."

'Someone?'

Lioro blinked his eyes and then turned towards his left.

Because of the snowy mountain, he couldn't see far as his vision was obstructed by frost.

Narrowing his eyes, Lioro ran towards the sound.

"No.....to....be...een."

The sound was getting clearer.

"King...dom.....f.....ion...."

It seemed someone was singing.

"...Queen."

A woman to be exact.

As he got closer, Lioro's expression started changing.

'Why is it so familiar?'

He seemed to have heard it somewhere.

That voice, the lyrics.....

They seem so damn familiar.

Suddenly Lioro stopped.

After he covered some distance the snow curtain no longer obstructed his view.

And what appeared in his vision.

It was a woman running on an ice stairways which she was creating simultaneously.

Lioro's eyes widened.

"Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!"

He almost lost his footing.

'Frozen?!'
