I was shocked and gripped his arm in panic.

He looked down at me, finally sighed, and dropped a line, "Soren hopes you won't regret it later," before choosing to shut up.

"The one who should regret it is you. You have no idea how good she is at playing people. You're the one being fooled!"

Yes, I used to be very good at playing people.

I even taught Soren how to swim.

Unfortunately, now, because of my illness, I can't swim at all.

I got off Fallon and shuffled step by step to stand in front of Soren.
