After listening from the sidelines all evening, I certainly knew how outrageous the other party's demands were.

Otherwise, Soren wouldn't have been negotiating for so long.

I never imagined he would go to such lengths just to torment me.

Mr. Knightley agreed immediately.

As he left, he warned me that if I wanted to sign the contract Fallon had assigned, I should obediently serve Soren well and use that to exchange for the contract in his hands.

I looked across at Soren.

"I wonder what would satisfy Mr. Harrington?"

He looked at me, his lips quivering slightly with anger.

I didn't understand what he was so angry about.

But the alcohol that had just been forced down made my stomach hurt so badly that my whole body convulsed.

"Weren't you so good at serving people just now? Any position is okay, huh?"

Felicity, hearing this, gave me a venomous look before quickly stepping forward to intervene: "Fallon, don't say things out of anger..."
