The Thin Line Between Loyalty and Love

Luca's Captivity

Pain burned through Luca's side as he sat in a dimly lit room, his wrists bound behind the chair. Lorenzo stood across from him, a glass of whiskey in hand, watching him like a predator sizing up its prey.

"You always had a habit of running, Luca," Lorenzo mused, taking a sip. "But this time, you ran right into my hands."

Luca smirked despite the pain. "And here I thought you'd be happy to see me, cugino."

Lorenzo's smirk vanished. In a flash, he grabbed Luca's jaw, forcing him to look up. "Do you think this is a game? You betrayed the family. You chose your own ambitions over blood."

Luca chuckled, voice hoarse. "Please. Don't act like you ever gave a damn about family."

Lorenzo released him with a sharp shove. "You're going to tell me everything you know about Sinclair and Moretti's next move."

Luca leaned back, casual despite the blood staining his shirt. "And if I don't?"

Lorenzo's smile was cruel. "Then I'll remind you why no one betrays me and lives."

Luca swallowed, but his smirk never wavered. He had faced death before.

But this time, he wasn't sure if he'd walk away.

Elijah and Dante's War Path

Elijah cleaned his gun with steady hands, his mind anything but calm. Dante sat across from him, loading ammunition.

"We need to hit Lorenzo fast," Dante said. "Before he has time to dig in."

Elijah nodded. "He has Luca. We can't let him keep him."

Dante scoffed. "Why do you even care? Luca's a snake. He's the reason you nearly lost everything."

Elijah's jaw clenched. "And yet, I can't shake the feeling that Nathan's betrayal wasn't as simple as it looked."

Dante paused, then sighed. "You think he's playing both sides?"

Elijah met his gaze. "I think he's not ready to let go of Luca."

Dante leaned back, rubbing a hand over his face. "Then we use that."

Elijah nodded. "We will."

Because at the end of the day, the only thing more dangerous than loyalty—

Was love.

Nathan's Breaking Point

Nathan's hands shook as he stared at his phone.

One message from Lorenzo.

Kill Sinclair, and you're free.

Another from an unknown number.

Luca is running out of time.

Nathan closed his eyes.

One choice.

One decision.

And no matter what he chose—

Someone had to die.
