"I had fought before. I had bled before. But this was different. This was madness. One moment, I was sat on my throne, ruling my clansmen and the next… I'm met with a graveyard of empty eyes and frozen faces.
And now these mongrels hunt me through the storm, blades drawn and their voices sharp with laughter.
Echoes in the snow continue to call out to me as I drown in snow and steel.
Were they guiding me? Or had I already lost my mind?"
A World Without Reflections is a novel steeped in Eastern fantasy and Dark Souls-like desolation, following Chael, a warrior chief who returns to a home that no longer breathes. The voices are gone and the fires are cold. They still stand, but they do not live. And somewhere beyond the frost and silence, unseen hands pull at fate’s threads.
Shadows move in the snow.
Mirrors lie.
Figures from the past emerge, and with them, a question that should have never been asked.
Sup everyone. Author here. I remember watching attack on titan when I was younger and thinking how it was possible for someone to come up with a plot so intricate and well thought out. I remember thinking WHAT IF I but never really entertained the idea. I've also read a sea of Xianxia novels and similar genres and have geeked over countless lines of plot, characters, and abilities, and especially the power ranking system. i've always fantasized about creating my own with little inspirations here and there across a multitude of different media that i've been a fan of and one day something clicked. I simply had ONE SINGLE idea for a cool plot twist and I went to sleep that night not thinking much of it. The very next night at 1am, I had written down 20 pages of drafting. Ladies and gentlemen, I present: A World Without Reflections
