Who's ready to meet the Salvatore, Mikaelson brothers??
Moriarty: Blood and Shadows
---
The Illusion of Murder, the city of London breathed fear.
Sir Edmund Blackwood was a name whispered in corridors of power, a man untouchable by law.
Yet, by dawn, the newspapers would scream his death.
A death that never truly happened.
---
The Perfect Deception
Holmes and Moriarty stood in the candlelit study, the weight of their plan settling over them.
Holmes exhaled. "This must be flawless."
Moriarty smirked. "When have I ever failed you, detective?"
Holmes gave him a look. "Shall I list the occasions?"
Moriarty chuckled. "Touché."
Then, he laid out the plan.
They would stage Blackwood's murder.
A body would be found—one similar enough to pass for him.
Evidence would be placed.
The illusion would be perfect.
And Jack would believe it.
At least, that was the hope.
---
A Night of Shadows
The plan was set into motion.
In the depths of London's underworld, they acquired a body. A man of similar build, his features altered just enough to resemble Blackwood.
Holmes worked meticulously, ensuring the wounds matched Jack's signature.
Blood was spilled.
A message was carved into the corpse's flesh.
"Unworthy."
Moriarty watched in silence. Then, with a satisfied smirk, he whispered—
"Perfect."
---
The Devil's Verdict
The following night, Jack met them in the depths of a forgotten alley.
The body lay at their feet.
Jack studied it.
Holmes remained silent.
Moriarty's smirk never faltered.
Then, Jack chuckled.
"Well done."
Holmes exhaled quietly.
Moriarty grinned. "I trust this satisfies you?"
Jack kneeled beside the body, running a gloved finger through the dried blood.
He murmured, almost to himself—
"A convincing lie."
Holmes and Moriarty tensed.
Jack stood. His crimson eyes flickered.
Then, he smiled.
"But I do enjoy a well-played deception."
Moriarty's grin widened. "Then we understand each other."
Jack turned away, his laughter echoing in the alley.
And for now, the game continued.
But Holmes knew—
Jack had suspicions.
And when the Ripper suspected something…
Blood always followed.
End of Chapter 14 .
