The battlefield was silent for a brief moment, save for the crackling of shattered earth and the sound of our heavy breathing. The air was dense with the lingering energy of Supreme Conqueror's Haki, the very atmosphere trembling under the weight of our battle.
Kaido, standing tall in his Hybrid Form, rolled his shoulders, his dragon-hide covered in deep, bleeding wounds. His golden eyes were locked onto me, analyzing, calculating. He knew something was coming.
I exhaled slowly, my fingers tightening around the hilt of my Black Blade. This was it.
"You've lasted this long, brat," Kaido grunted, his voice raw yet filled with undeniable amusement. "But I doubt you have anything left. This is where it ends."
I didn't respond. My body was screaming from exhaustion, my muscles aching from the relentless battle—but my mind was clear. I had one attack left.
One final strike.
Kaido swung his club onto his shoulder. "If you have anything left, now's the time to show it!"
I took a step forward, my Haki surging to its peak. The air around me crackled, as if the very elements were bending to my will. Lightning arced from my blade, black and red streaks dancing around its edge.
Kaido's grin faltered. He felt it.
This wasn't just Supreme Conqueror's Haki anymore.
This was something more.
Channeling Everything Into One Strike
I focused all of my strength, my will, my rage into the blade. Every battle, every hardship, every moment leading up to this one surged through me.
Kaido readied himself, gripping his club tightly. "Come, brat! SHOW ME YOUR STRONGEST!"
I lifted my sword, light bending around it, the weight of my will shaping it into something beyond a mere weapon.
The air itself felt as though it was collapsing.
With one final breath, I roared:
"Ryūketsu Tenka!" (Blood-Soaked Heaven!)
I vanished from sight.
Kaido's eyes widened as I appeared directly above him, my Black Blade raised high.
Time seemed to slow.
My entire being surged forward, my sword plunging downward with the force of a divine judgment.
Kaido swung his club to intercept.
Our final clash was deafening.
The Sky Splits – Wano Holds Its Breath
The very air erupted upon impact. The heavens above Wano split apart, creating a massive divide in the sky. A shockwave surged outward, leveling everything in its path, sending Kaido's remaining forces tumbling to the ground.
A tremendous explosion followed as our weapons met, the force of our wills battling for dominance.
For a brief moment, the battlefield was nothing but silence.
Then—
Kaido's club cracked.
His entire body shuddered.
A deep gash tore through his chest, blood spraying like a storm. His monstrous body staggered, his eyes widening in pure disbelief.
He had felt pain. True pain.
Kaido Falls
Kaido's legs gave out.
His massive form collapsed onto the battlefield, sending tremors through the land.
The once unshakable ruler of Wano lay before me, struggling to move, gasping for breath.
Blood seeped from his wounds, his body finally acknowledging what his mind refused to believe—
He had lost.
I stood over him, my Black Blade dripping with crimson, my breath ragged but victorious.
Kaido let out a low, rumbling laugh, even as blood leaked from his mouth. "You… really did it… brat. You actually… did it."
I pointed my sword at him. "Your reign over Wano is over. This land belongs to the people now."
Kaido stared at the sky, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. Perhaps regret. Perhaps relief.
He closed his eyes and let out one final breath.
And then—he was still.
The invincible Kaido of the Beasts had fallen.
The Aftermath – Wano's Victory
For a long moment, silence reigned over the battlefield.
Then, a deafening cheer erupted from the samurai, from the Whitebeard Pirates, from the people of Wano who had been watching from afar.
"KAIDO HAS FALLEN!"
Denjiro and the samurai, exhausted but victorious, raised their weapons in triumph. Orochi's remaining forces, seeing their so-called 'protector' defeated, broke into panic and scattered.
From a distant rooftop, Hiyori watched with tears in her eyes.
Yamato, still staring at her fallen father, let out a shaky breath. She had never seen Kaido look so… human.
"Momonosuke…" she murmured, her voice filled with emotion. "You really… freed Wano."
I took one last look at Kaido's fallen form before turning toward my people. The war was over.
Wano was free.
