chapter 22

I have to say, this was an amazing pull.

Ice Bear is not only an incredible chef, but he's also highly skilled with an axe and ninja stars. Definitely a useful addition.

Plo Koon has always been one of my favorite Jedi Masters. As a master of Form V lightsaber combat and a highly skilled Force user—even capable of using Force lightning—he's going to be a valuable ally. I'll need to modify a room for him since oxygen is toxic to his species.

Metal Bat's Fighting Spirit is a solid power. The longer I fight, the stronger I get, especially against tougher opponents. A perfect ability for endurance-based battles.

The Butcher's Power may not be the best for combat, but at least I now have a reliable food supply.

Viltrumite Physiology is simply amazing. My strength, durability, and healing are off the charts. I could already breathe in space, but now, if I ever have kids, I know they'll be insanely powerful.

Midas' Powers are as overpowered as they sound—unlimited wealth. Money will never be an issue again.

Korin is a fantastic summon. He can grow Senzu Beans, meaning instant recovery in battle is now always an option.

Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix is easily one of the best powers I've gained. Not only does it make me essentially immortal, but I can also heal others. That alone is game-changing.

Esdeath's Ice Powers are terrifyingly powerful. With enough training, I'll be able to create ice soldiers and even freeze time for a few seconds.

Takeru Noto Power allows me to generate explosive fire missiles. A solid offensive ability that pairs well with my other powers.

Feedback's Power makes me an energy-absorbing powerhouse. I was already overpowered with Laxus' lightning absorption, but now, I can absorb any form of energy—including something as massive as a Big Bang.

Isaac McDougal, the Freezing Alchemist, is an interesting summon. His military experience and alchemy could be useful. However, I'm not sure whether he's truly a good guy or a villain. He killed a lot of soldiers who were just following orders, though one could argue the same about the Nazis or Stormtroopers. Either way, I'm stronger than him, so if he tries anything, I can just reject him from this universe.

Hiro's Knowledge is easily one of my best gains, second only to Dr. Gero's. With this, I can create Baymax and, more importantly, microbots, which will massively speed up construction and innovation.

A Flying Bison? Well, I guess I have a new pet now.

Mewtwo's Telekinesis is another solid power. I stopped watching Pokémon a long time ago, but I remember that his psychic abilities were ridiculously strong.

Juvia's Water Magic grants me total control over water, making me nearly untouchable—especially when combined with my ice abilities.

Lastly, I now have one of the Dragon Balls—the One-Star Dragon Ball. Looks like I have a long way to go if I want to make a wish.

"System, assimilate powers."

The moment I spoke, I felt a surge of energy flood my body. It wasn't just one type—it was a fusion of multiple powerful forces, each intertwining within me. I took a deep breath, feeling the change settle in.

"Now, let's summon some new allies."

I got up and made my way to the training room. It didn't take long to get there, and when I arrived, I found Bang and Sabrina in the middle of a sparring session. The moment they noticed me, they stopped.

"Hey, Ed, you need something?" Sabrina asked, wiping some sweat from her forehead.

"No, sorry to interrupt. I just came here to summon some new allies," I explained.

"Oh? You're summoning now? I'd like to see that," Bang said, intrigued.

"Me too," Sabrina added, stepping beside me.

I nodded, closed my eyes, and focused. In my mind, I visualized who I wanted to bring forth.

'System, summon Ice Bear, Plo Koon, Korin, and Isaac McDougal.'

A bright flash of light filled the room, and when it faded, they were all standing before us.

For a moment, there was silence. Then, the first to speak was Korin.

"So, you're the one who summoned me, huh?" The white cat adjusted his staff, eyeing me up and down. "I have to say, I thought you'd be bigger or something. You just look like some Earth kid—maybe a young adult. Anyway, name's Korin, but in my world, some people call me the Immortal Cat. I'm also a master of martial arts."

Plo Koon inclined his head slightly, observing the feline. "Interesting. I have never encountered a species like yours before."

"Well, you could say I'm one of a kind—there aren't many immortal cats, not in my world, and certainly not in this one," Korin replied with a smirk.

"Ice Bear. Nice to meet you," the polar bear introduced himself simply.

Then there was Isaac McDougal. He looked around the room, eyes narrowing at the sight of the talking animals and Plo Koon's alien features.

"What the hell is going on here? Why are animals talking? And what even are you?" He directed his last question at Plo Koon.

I sighed, already expecting this reaction. "Plo Koon is an alien, and as for the talking animals… yeah, you're just gonna have to get used to that. And for the record, there are at least two more talking bears around here."

Isaac ran a hand down his face. "I thought this second chance would actually let me help people. Instead, I feel like I've landed in some kind of twisted reality."

I met his gaze, my expression serious. "This world is twisted. That's why you're here—to help us make it better. And trust me, your military skills are going to be very useful."

Isaac's eyes hardened. "You must be planning a war, then that's the only reason you're interested in my military experience."

"Yes. But the country we're going after?" I took a step forward, voice firm. "They enslave people. They experiment on them. They've committed mass graves worth of atrocities. And we're going to put an end to it."

Isaac clenched his fists. "I already fought in the wrong war. I saw too many innocent people die. If you think I'm just going to dive into another bloodbath, you've got another thing coming, boy."

I narrowed my eyes. "First off, don't call me boy." My tone carried a weight of authority. "Second, this isn't about conquest. It's about justice. If you're really serious about wanting to help people, then this is your chance to fight for something right."

Isaac studied me for a long moment, then exhaled sharply. "Fine. I'll listen to what you have planned. But if I see even a hint of corruption in this mission—if this turns into just another war for power—I walk."

I smirked. "Fair enough."

I crossed my arms and looked at the new arrivals. "Now, let me explain this world to all of you. You might've seen some weird things in your own worlds, but trust me—this one takes the cake."

They all listened intently as I continued.

"Magic, gods, technology beyond belief—it's all real here. At first, it's hard to wrap your head around, but you'll get used to it. Some of you are here to fight, but not everyone has to. You all have skills that can help us make this world better, whether that's on the battlefield or behind the scenes."

Ice Bear simply nodded. "Ice Bear is an amazing chef. throw ninja stars. Uses an axe."

I smirked. "Cool. You can help out in the cafeteria, then."

Plo Koon crossed his arms. "This world seems chaotic. If it is as you say, then I will do my duty as a Jedi Master—to help and bring justice."

Korin stroked his whiskers thoughtfully. "Well, I can grow you some Senzu Beans. With those, you guys will be able to fight longer and train harder. Lucky for you, I have some seeds on me."

Isaac, still skeptical, kept his arms folded. "Before I agree to anything, I want to hear everything about this war you're planning."

I nodded. "You'll have all the details in your room. Take a couple of days to adjust to this world before making a decision." Then I turned to Plo Koon. "I'm sorry, but it's going to take us some time to modify your room to match the atmosphere you're used to breathing. It'll go faster if you can tell us exactly what you need."

"I can tell you precisely how to recreate it," Plo Koon assured me.

"That's good. Church!" I called out.

In an instant, Church and Tex materialized.

Church sighed. "You know, with all the weird people you've summoned, this really takes the cake. Another talking bear? Seriously?"

Tex crossed her arms. "At this rate, I can't wait to see who you summon next."

I rolled my eyes. "These are our new allies. Show them to their rooms and, most importantly, get Plo Koon's atmosphere set up as soon as possible. Also, load all the intel on Genosha and our war plans into Isaac's room."

Church groaned. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. C'mon, you lot, let's get this over with."

Sabrina crossed her arms, watching the summoning. "So… that's what it looks like when someone appears here?"

I shrugged. "Yeah, just a bright light and bam—new arrival. Nothing too grand."

She smirked. "Church had a point, though. Another talking bear? What's next, a talking dog?"

I grinned. "Give it time. Pretty sure I'll summon one sooner or later."

She laughed. "Haha, can't wait to see that."

I stretched. "Anyway, I'm heading outside for a bit. I'll let you two get back to your sparring."

With that, I teleported outside the base, making sure I had plenty of open space.

"System, summon Flying Bison."

A bright light flashed, and in its place stood a massive, six-legged Flying Bison. He looked exactly like Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I smirked. "Well, guess that settles it. I'm calling you Appa."

Walking up to him, I patted his head. "What do you think, big guy? You like the name?"

Appa let out a deep, happy growl, his tail swishing behind him.

"I'll take that as a yes."

I stepped back. "Alright, Appa, stretch your wings. Feel free to fly around the island, but don't go beyond it. The kids should still be at the beach—maybe you can go play with them."

With a powerful leap, Appa took off, soaring toward the beach.

I watched him disappear into the distance before cracking my knuckles. "Alright, now that that's settled, time to make some microbots."

Five hours later…

Creating the microbots didn't take long. It was simple enough when you had the right knowledge. So far, I'd only made a hundred, but I planned to build something that could produce them at a much faster rate.

As I was fine-tuning a few of them, Gamma suddenly appeared in the workshop.

"Sir, we have a problem."

I frowned. "What is it?"

"A being is fighting Superman… and Superman is losing. It appears that this entity absorbs energy every time it makes contact with him."

Only one villain came to mind. "Parasite."

I wanted to take a moment to think through my approach, but there was no time for that. Superman needed help now.

I quickly teleported to my room, suited up as fast as I could—really need to figure out a better way to put this thing on—and then teleported straight to Metropolis.

Tracking them down was easy. I just followed the sound of explosions and destruction. When I arrived, the sight wasn't pretty—Superman was getting overwhelmed.

Parasite looked different from what I remembered in the comics and shows. He was massive, almost monstrous, with jagged spikes protruding from his body. That had to be the result of absorbing Superman's energy. If I didn't stop him now, he'd only get stronger.

Without hesitation, I shot forward, landing a hard punch that sent Parasite flying away from Superman.

"Hey, Superman. Looks like you could use some backup."

Superman exhaled heavily, still recovering. "I really could. He's ridiculously strong."

"Mind telling me what exactly this thing is?" I asked, keeping an eye on Parasite.

"His name is Rudolph Jones. Just a small-time criminal I was chasing—until he crashed into a chemical truck. Whatever was inside mutated him into this." Superman gestured at the recovering Parasite. "Every time I get close or he lands a hit, he absorbs my energy and gets stronger."

I nodded. "Alright, so the key is to avoid direct contact. That's gonna make this fight tricky… especially since I already punched him. But first, we need to get him out of the city. I can teleport us somewhere isolated—like a desert—where we can figure out how to neutralize him."

Before we could say anything else, Parasite let out a guttural roar. He was already bigger than before, his muscles bulging unnaturally. He charged at us at full speed.

I reacted instantly. Just before he reached us, I opened a warp gate.

"Superman, move!"

Grabbing him, we flew through the portal just as Parasite barreled forward. He didn't stop in time and stumbled into the gate after us.

We reappeared in the middle of a barren desert. Parasite, clearly caught off guard, tripped and crashed into the sand.

I cracked my knuckles. "Alright… round two."

Parasite let out a monstrous scream before launching himself at us with blinding speed. But to me, he might as well have been moving in slow motion. With my Eyes of the Lord and Buddha Eyes, I could see every movement, every shift in his muscles before he even attacked.

He wasn't laying a single finger on me.

Reacting instantly, I grabbed Superman and teleported us high into the sky.

"We need to end this quickly," I said, keeping my gaze locked on Parasite below. "The longer this fight drags out, the stronger he gets."

Since he had been absorbing Superman's energy, there was a high chance he now had some of his abilities too—which meant he might have Superman's weaknesses as well. The problem? I didn't have Kryptonite on me, and I had no clue where a red sun was to teleport Parasite to.

Maybe I should take some time to explore space later…

For now, I had to focus. This fight was far from over.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late chapter, it was supposed to get released yesterday, but I was tired from my new job
