Zara's POV
I stared at my sister, rage simmering beneath my skin. I could feel my anger rising, boiling, ripping through my skin at each second.
Cora stood before me, smirking like she had already won. As she had already gotten what she wanted.
I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms as I took a step forward, intending to walk past her—to see for myself that our father was really gone.
I needed to know what she was saying was true, there is no way father will be dead impossible.
But just as I moved, she shoved me. Almost making me lose my balance.
I stumbled back, barely catching myself before I hit the floor.
"You don't deserve to be here," she spat, her voice venomous. "You don't deserve anything. How Dare you come here and think I will let you walk in freely just like that."
My chest tightened for a second.
